Description

This is a very easy multi with a very short walk along a nice path

Cache titles sometimes give a deep insight to the cache's location and what you can expect, and sometimes they don't. In this case, it is the latter! Although I'm sure f you stand here at the right time of day in autumn, you will see a stream of light shining through the trees.

At the listed co-ordinates, you will see a sign with 5 words on it. The number of letters in each word will give you A B C D & E. You will find the cache not far away at S33° 48.(091+ABC)' E151° 6.(628+DE)'

Looks as if this one has gone. I'll try to get up there in the next few days to replace it and will log here if I manage to do that.

Despite living very close I've never been down this path. This cache finally convinced me to have a look. Thanks

Sometimes the best cache finds are the ones that you never expected or planned to do that day. I'd caught the bus to Ryde (no car, long story) and still had 45mins before I needed to be some place. So I thought I'd at least walk down to the start of this multi and get the info I needed and come back on another occasion as I was worried I'd run out of time before I could calculate and find. But you know how it goes, you're there already, the numbers were easy to find and calculate, and then you just keep going and punch those numbers in and the next thing you know you're down the path and have the cache in hand! As if I could walk away. The creek was flowing well after the rains but the humidity was stifling. Now my time was a little shorter than I'd hoped so I legged it back up the hill and the sweat was pouring off me. But it was worth it to pickup one of the SSS caches that I couldn't get to in Dec/Jan. Thanks Blossom*.

Made the calculations from the comfort of the air conditioned car, then off up the park for a short walk and a quick find. Not sure why this creek seems a bit whiffy! Nice and easy and another Summer Scavenger Hunt find. Thanks blossom*
