A morning detour for a few caches on the way to Burnie ........ and an excuse for coffees at the Berry Patch. Another disappointing DNF today. Sad The location was right as described, but I think there has been considerable storm movement of materials in the immediate area of GZ. May be well buried, and might ake a fair bit of probing to discover it. Thanks for your cache 2y'stassies. Now to go and stand in the middle of a roundabout ! Smile

Out caching in the area and decided to try to turn a frown into a smiley. It took a while to unearth the container as totally buried and looks like the logs may have moved with the wind and waves but find it we did. Nice to finally cross off the list. TFTP

Decided to come down and get some mystery caches that I I solved long ago in order to complete some research tasks. TFTC and the fun solving the puzzles

Tonight I decided to walk down from maskells road to this one as the other night when I went to do this from the turners beach end I couldn’t get over the creek running out onto the beach. On arrival at ground zero I used the hint and started searching in the right area, soon the cache was uncovered, signed the log and began the walk back to find scavenger hunt. Walking all this way on this rock wasn’t that nice on the feet but am happy to have completed it now. TFTC Clan Cerberus

Thanks 2y's for replacing the cache. We have been thoroughly enjoying your caches. We trotted down tonight to grab the cache after the CO's were on top of their game as always in the prompt replacement of missing caches. TFTC ClappingClan Cerberus

Following the previous DNF, we checked on this cache this evening. The area has changed so much since we placed the cache, mainly by a significant increase in the shingle bank and drift wood as a result of wave action during a storm. We think that the cache is buried under the shingle bank. We found part of the board that was on top of the cache. We didn't try to dig the cache out. Instead we have replaced the cache. The puzzle has not been changed and hence the coordinates remain unchanged. However the hint has been changed. Hopefully there will not be another storm surge for some time.

We were on the coast with Tassie Trekkers and gooseandegg targeting the PCT series today. While Mrs T was returning from dropping them off Mrs W headed off to find this cache that had been solved ages ago. It was a nice stroll to GZ but after 15 minutes of searching everywhere as everywhere fitted the hint, and the gps couldn't decide, no cache materialised. Too good for me today.

We spent some time nutting out some puzzles a couple of nights ago and decided to spend a couple of days in the Ulverstone region and see what we could find - and hopefully add to the Tasmanian cause for the States Of The Nation summer 2017/18 game. Thanks so much 2y'stassies for your efforts in providing so many great and varied puzzles to solve and then hiding and maintaining such well stocked caches. Awesome effort by you guys and we had a great couple of days.

Catching up with some logs I missed while on a caching trip in the Northwest with GooseandEgg. Sorry I put them off and then lost my fieldnotes.
Thanks for another great cache.

A quick internet search had me on the right track with this puzzle so it didn't take long to come up with a set of good coordinates. Walking here from another cache wasn't a huge distance but it was slow going. Once at GZ we had no issues finding this cache at all. We absolutely loved the theme and the swag to go with it. Time for just one more before the event. Thanks 2y'stassies

Always a pleasure to find decent cache containers and this one fit the bill. Full of well themed goodies too although we didn't have any swaps with us so we didn't take anything. Dogs would have loved the bubble blower though!!
After struggling along the rocks to this one we only walked back as far as the beach access walkway and then took the easier way back to the car. Should have known the tide would be wrong as we were out here earlier in the week with the dogs.
Thanks for all the new caches in the area 2ystassies. Have others solved which we will attempt in the next few days.
