Description
Releasing this to help others with their Scavenger Series, but nevertheless I'll be interested to see what you come up with ;-)
In Ireland we had 4 definite seasons, and a lot of rain....................... but....................
we could always tell that spring was coming when the snowdrops started to bloom, they are some of my favourite flowers. In Australia I associate it with the smell of jasmine.
Please show me what means "spring" to you. Don't have to include a GPS, don't even have to add a location - but you can if you like...................... how easy was that? ;-)

To me spring has sprung when the air is perfumed by wattle bloom.
or in the words of Slim Dusty:
As they raved about the bushland that the wattle-boughs perfume
Till the reader cursed that region and the stink of wattle-bloom.

Living on a farm SPRING means happy cows as there is lots of lush green grass. It also means cows with shitty bums!!
It also means the lilac bush is in flower. And although already finished for the year that the multitudes of daffodils are out.
Thanks.

A beaut way to see the start of Spring when all the Wildflowers are coming out.

Spring for us is budburst in the vineyard, signifying the beginning of the current years vintage...and preparations underway for all hands on deck.
Thanks for the locationless celtical.

Spring is perhaps a little earlier because we’ve had lots of sunny days this winter and my Sturt’s Desert Pea has flowered.
They are particularly hard to grow in my area, but this has brightened up my front door entrance and the depth of colour in the flowers is amazing
Thanks for 5he Locationless Celtical

What does spring mean to us? Well it is the first spring related thing we see. In this case it was a car spring. The required photo has been added to the Gallery. thanks celtical for the cache.
The thing that brings spring to my mind is the first time in the season that you smell grass being cut by a mower.

The smell of onions on the barbie is the signal that spring has sprung in the DaFiChNi household. The DaFiChNi Team comes out of hibernation in spring, as we thaw after a long cold Tassie winter. The longer days, combined with daylight savings means it's time to fire up the Barbie! Thanks Celtical for organising the cache.
Spring is flowering bulbs to me, mine are just breaking through the soil at the moment so I was surprised to find some already in flower while caching today in Devonport.
My Garmin GPSr sitting next to a tiny stream in St. Leonards, NSW.
I was logging a cache nearby at the time.

Won't add location coordinates, as allowed by the CO, to preserve domestic privacy!
Flowers mean 'spring' to me!
Another few months before these blossom again!
But it will be worth the wait . . .

My favourite Australian flower is the flowers and nuts and seed pods of the gum tree. Pic taken in Port Augusta South Australia.
We don't have spring in Darwin so it was good to see the blossom in Christchurch.

Hi celtical
Spring for me is the blossom especially as I live in the Huon Valley
As a kid, when the Huon was known as the Apple Capital of Tasmania, the orchards were spectacular when the blossom came out in Spring
Bees everywhere!
Sainted at 1055hrs
TFTC and cheers

You know its Spring in Canberra (and most places around Australia) when these guys start to swoop you. Yep, the magpies come out in force to protect their area. They can be a danger to walkers and cyclists alike, but if you want to cache, you need just get out there and do it.
Couple of photo's of one I saw today...no problems now, but til September.....

We know spring is here, though not necessarily warm weather, when the cherry trees are flowering. Since these delicate blossoms don't last long it's easy to miss this sign that spring has sprung.

You definitely know Spring has sprung when you take a walk in the Perth hills and find that it's turned into a riot of colour. Attached photo taken on one of my last Darling Range caching runs before moving from Perth to NZ in the Spring of 2016.

When the flowers are blooming in my garden and the pair of Pacific Black ducks appears at my place is when I know it is spring.
