On a Mountain Day adventure in the mountains today and paused here to find a moveable that looks a lot like Santa. I left 2 other moveables behind.
It's not everyday you find a Panda
in an Australian rainforest.
I thought I'd give him a lift somewhere
because he seemed a little lost.
Panda was excited to meet Skeletosaur
which wasn't really by chance.
but it appeared they were destined to cross paths
as they both began to dance. (See photo)

Panda Stream has been moved to a new location in a tranquil arboretum. There are plenty of trees for climbing and room to move. His new home is a leafy bird nest fern at the base of a tree. He is quite happy to stay awhile but welcomes visitors to help him continue his travels. Thanks for the company.
I visited Schusters Park on the Gold Coast on the last day of Blitz 2021. I was amazed that the park was filled with movables. I attempted to find Panda Stream after finding a growing number of reptiles keen to keep moving. I found a cute little panda but was a bit confused because Skeletosaurus was shown at this location. I have realised that two movables may have been hidden at this location. Panda Stream is ready to move onto a new location. Thanks Splitty Miller JJCC for the movable.
Called in to Samboo Park today to see how my froggy, dinosaur ad other movable friends were going.
Panda said he was perfectly fine. He said that the recent heavy rains increased the size of the swamp temporarily but he is perfectly safe and is patiently waiting for a lift.

Panda Stream decided it was time to hit the road, so to speak. I showed him around my park (Samboo Park - although the council calls it something else). Being interested in environmental issues he was impressed with all the work the council has been doing planting new koala and other native animal food trees. He decided that he might like to hide with GA12660 Skeletosaurus since they were both someone skinny and could hide in the same hollow. He also did not seem to mind that behind him were mangroves, not a stream but perhaps it might be interesting to observe the animals that inhabit that habitat.
Safe journey Panda Stream.

Edited: Oops that should have been a moved log. Sorry

Hello Panda Stream, welcome to the Gold Coast. We have lots of streams around here, plus some bigger ones as well. Perhaps I can find you a new hiding spot near a stream.
Thank you for the moveable.

Found this moveable, as well as a swag of other ones between Casino and Lismore NSW - Never before have so many moveable caches appeared in my local area, so I took a drive and picked them all up. There's a few other cachers that I'm sure will love to see them too, so I'll share the love around and then they'll soon be on their way to their next location. Thanks for hiding this one!
NO LONGER AT THE ABOVE COORDINATES AS I HAVE COLLECTED IT TO MOVE ON.
I was out caching and saw that some moveables that I hadn't seen and some that I had seen, had been left here so I have grabbed them to move interstate in the next week.

Saw these pop up in Belconnen, ACT and since I needed to get out of the house I did an evening run to find these caches (but not move them). I agree that particular spot - usually quite a good one given the access - is getting a bit yuk - maybe more of a meeting point these days.
Thanks for putting out the movable for me to enjoy this find evening.

Went out today to set these fellows free. Lovely spot. Watch where you put your feet, though, as I discovered when I returned to the car. Something yucky. Shoes are in washing machine as I write this.
Lovely afternoon for a short walk. Also a quick find! Thanks for the cache!

Dropped this off on the way into the ACT to move it on it's way.
Was stuck for a while due to the holder not doing too much travelling lately.
The tub at the drop off point was broken and damp inside so will need to be replaced (we left the TB's in a plastic bag).

With a day off and an event in ‘The Rock’ plus pre-geocaching lead to a great day out. I also got a FTF on the cache ‘Break the Drive – Urana’ (GA12529). I started out with collecting the finds around Urana which included the most disgusting cache I have ever found (GC3BDFX). [xx(][xx(] I completely disapprove of that cache and hope to never see a hide like that ever again. [xx(][xx(] I visited a few different spots around and I enjoyed the ‘Leap year 2020 at The Rock’ event hosted by B&MG. A great BBQ and many geo-conversations were had by all. There were also many GCA moveable caches signed while we were there. TB visit on all caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring joy to me and the rest of the caching community. TFTE and TFTC’s

A gathering of geocachers seems like a good spot to leave this Moveable.
While at the mega event I was able to claim a smiley while this was in the hands of another.
Good to finally get my hand on a few more moveables.
Nicely done.

At the end of the event this was one of the moveables I ended up with. Next it to find a place to hide it for the next finder. As the game ends they may be further apart between finds. Thanks for the moveable which was one of 101 that made their way to Ebenezer. Good luck on any further moves
The latest Geocaching Australia game runs from 01-Dec-2018 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2019 23:59:59 AEST
For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath.
A moving cache, by nature, may have been moved since you last determined its location. It may have been picked up but not yet rehidden so it's considered 'in-transit'. There is no foolproof method of determining where a cache is simply by the log types that have been placed against the cache.

Headed up to Ebenezer with LuckyL10n to attend the Aussie Day event. 45 degree day made for a bit of a fun trip, however it was pleasant in the winery building. A good few hardy souls were in attendance as well as over 100 moveables. Some good conversation with cachers not met before and a good couple of hours was had by all. The trip home was a little different to what was expected but turned out ok....

Called into Tizzana Winery to buy some wine and saw the moveables and the list. The family wanted to continue on so said "Hi" to a few we'd previously met then headed on with some wine. Diolch for the moveable. I didn't pick up any.

Attended the 'Australia Day Moveable Event 2018' and came face to face with other like minded cachers, one being another lucky (luckyl10n) and 101 moveables in the area. Many thanks to the CO's who have published them over time and others who bought them together for the event.

After a 4 hour flight from Sydney, arrived to swap movables with Lazarus68. Thanx for the trade.
In my safe hands
North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run".
The area originally formed part of the Hamersley Estate, which also included the suburbs now known as Carine, North Beach and Hamersley. These areas were owned by the Hamersley family, who arrived from Europe to settle in the Swan River Colony in 1837 and built a summer home, called "The Castle" in 1865, where their large family as well as the Perth elite congregated for summer holidays. It was later converted into the Castle Hotel, but after 75 years was demolished and subdivided in 1998.
Originally set aside as a timber reserve, the area was first settled by pastoralists in the 1860s. It served as a stopping point and watering hole along the Coastal Stock Route between Dongara and Fremantle. Cattle drovers frequented the area and Afghan camel drivers were a common sight after the opening of the goldfields in the 1890s - the area also served as a quarantine area for camels entering the colony. A number of orchards operated in the area; the only evidence which remains today is an old olive tree on Hope Street.
The only way into the area at this time was via a wooden block road built by convicts (later Wanneroo Road) and then along a limestone track to North Beach, although numerous tracks through the bushland were developed as time progressed.
During World War I, the Australian 10th Light Horse Regiment were stationed at Mount Flora on coast-watch duties, and kept their horses at a yard at the corner of modern-day Hope and Hale Streets. During the Great Depression, the area around the intersection of West Coast Drive and North Beach Road was a 'tent city' which housed "many unfortunate people on hard times".
After World War II, the area developed rapidly, and in 1954, the Postal District of North Beach was approved. By 1961, nearly all of the existing suburb had been built and settled.

Panda stream has had a huge adventure travelling form SA to Victoria and and hen to WA. Panda met up with some new whilst they were attending the Parkville mega event and whilst this was on there was also a GA event for all the cachers to meet up and then to see a huge collection of moveables. Panda was glad to see me and we went off for a ride on the ebike and looked at some sights and grabbed a few friends for him to travel with. They also went on lots of tram rides in Melbourne and then to St Kilda which they were so excited about. They got to see a funeral procession in Bourke street for a cafe owner which was very moving. But then it was time to head to the airport.
After having brought Panda and his moveable friends back from Melbourne i decided to head around the area today and drop them off so they could see this great state of ours and enjoy the many sights that there are to see. They really enjoyed their plane ride to Perth especially the view out of the window. They were excited to be in Western Australia and could not wait to look around and meet some new friends.
Thanks for pandaStream Splitty Miller jjcc

I traveled back home to SA to my home town of Gawler from Perth for family reasons for about 8 days. However i was kept busy helping decluttering my parents sheds at their house. I did not get much time to do any caching. This was a quick easy find while out doing some chores the day before i was due to fly out to Melobourne for the Parkeville Mega event. Thanks for bringing me here and the cache SplittyMillerJJCC

A cute little panda that was found by the beach today. I will do my best to get him moving on again soon.
In Adelaide attending Uni open days with my daughter I bought some moveables across from Tasmania. Luckily I had some time to put them out along the beach in Adelaide. This one is hiding close to another one I put out. This little fellow is in the tree about 1.2 metres off the ground on a branch and covered by pine needles and leaf litter. There are so many hiding places so I will give you another hint - he is in the tree on the side closest to the train track
A quick pickup while in Hobart for Uni Open day with youngest daughter. I noticed these moveables a few weeks ago but didn't have time to get over here last weekend when I was down here and I was hoping they would stay hidden a bit longer. I was rewarded today with three moveables hiding in one place. They will come back up North with me. TFTM

Spotted this moveable along with a few others as the Goose dropped them off, I will move them on when I'm next out caching which will be Saturday I think.

After being rescued from a guard rail in Glen Huon, Panda Stream has arrived at Neville's House for a bit of R and R. Neville the retired gnome is known to be a bit of a party animal so not sure how much peace and quiet there will be.
We headed out today for an afternoon of caching on the Plenty Link Road from New Norfolk to Huonville and ended up near Glen Huon as we headed back home, a round trip of over 200 kms, finding 14 caches and 8 moveables and Panda Stream was one we rescued from a guard rail, luckily as we now realise we missed a couple. Will move on soon. TFTM
