Description

You are now in the ACT, so get caching.....

This mystery cache IS NOT at the posted coordinates.  To find GZ, you will need to answer some questions about the Australian Capital Territory.

The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) is home to Canberra, the capital city of Australia. The need for a national territory was flagged by colonial delegates during the Federation conventions of the late 19th century. Section ABC of the Australian Constitution provided that, following Federation in 19DE, land would be ceded freely to the new Federal Government. The territory was transferred to the Commonwealth by the state of New South Wales in 19FG, two years prior to the naming of Canberra as the national capital in 19HI.

The cache can then be found at S35 D(A+B+C+D+E+F+G+H-I).C(C+H+I)(A+B+C)   E149 DI.(B+C)F(B+G).

Check your coords, then off you go.....

After sweet talking my way out of what I had on this morning, I headed to Canberra for a day trip. An event plus a few finds around the centre of Canberra. Unfortunately, I did also have DNF. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring me and the caching community enjoyment. Big Grin TFTE & TFTC’s! Big Grin

My only GCA find of the day. I have had this one on the solved but unfound list for far too long. So today I pulled up and soon was at GZ. A quick find was had and then it was signed and replaced. Time to head off to Macca's for breakfast. Big Grin

I was travelling back into town this afternoon and as I had this cache on my solved list I decided it was definitely time to pick it up. A quick find at GZ and as the cache lid was cracked I replaced the cache and the log. TFTC LuckyL10n

A quick trip to Hall for some caches and now that I had solved this I could stop at a familiar spot one more time and collect another cache. The cache is in poor condition as the lid broke. The log is damp but perfectly writable still but given the big hole in the lid probably not much longer. Thanks for the cache LuckyL10n

Worked out the puzzle this afternoon and made plans for coming here tonight while on errands in the area. It was quite bit spooky hunting around at GZ at 2200 tonight. Made lots of noise - go away friends..... After a few moments searching the well placed cache was found alone - no friends. Another for the Summer Scavenger Series, but which claim to log?
Thanks LuckyL10n.
Cheers

Had to do a few hours today, so after sitting and driving a few folk around, I had time to head out and grab this one it's mate on the way home. Always enjoy a cache about our own backyard, so a bit of any easy one. Very Happy No problems at GZ and the my name was soon in the book....
