Description
It's all about location
The cache location is not the location shown above but that's not a bad location to start from. Choosing the location for this cache wasn't easy. It had to avoid the National Park boundaries, not be too close to other caches, have reasonably easy access and be a location that wasn't some horrible spiky scrub or bushland rubbish dump. Before the field surveys, placing it involved quite a few locational calculations of distances and bearings from other locations.
But what is the location? Just solve a couple of location-based calculations to reveal the two-dimensional location of Location Location ....

Final day of the summer scavenge game so time to get out and grab some more caches with 14 found in total. Luckily given the heat today they weren't too far from the car. A relatively easy find once at ground zero. Thanks Baktrak.
I too really enjoyed this puzzle, once the CO told me to try something. I'd looked at this many times during the winter game and always drew a blank. Oh the maths..... I don't like asking for help and rarely PAF.... but the CO mentioned it was OK... so having nothing to lose, a clue came my way. I too learnt something new. Wow, I'll never look at a location the same again.
The maths didn't prove too much of a problem after all. Another top location and GZ, I liked this one a lot. Even the camo was large....lol and required some extra muscle work. What a huge cache.
Thanks for teaching me something new and for another lovely GZ.

When we saw the cache description we scratched our heads - "what is this all about?". Then we started playing around and a strategy evolved. After completing the calculations we had some numbers which looked very interesting. We were very pleased when the solution was confirmed. Today we went to look for the cache. After parking the car we headed off into the scrub. We were fortunate with the route we took as we managed to avoid a rather deep gully. Once near GZ, accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Baktrak for another challenging puzzle and hide.

Spent yesterday afternoon solving some local GCA puzzles. This one had my flying all over the place and got the calculator quite hot before the solution revealed itself. Another nice skirmish into the bush to find a location with a large container. Nice location location.

An afternoon collecting 5 GCA puzzles. This one the third in line. Numbers fell out pretty quickly and did the math to get a green.
Cloudy and misty rainy morning but cleared after lunch. The weather heating up but still ok to take the road bike out for a few caches. Heading back from Hornsby and take the long detour up Sumerville, sun now beating down. Scampered off the trail and stashed the bike behind atree, leap down a rock ledge almost ontop of a whip snake that quickly slithered out of site then follwed a rough trail to GZ where the large container was found. Did the duties and re-hid. then back up. No sign of the snake on way back. Thanks baktrak!

A last day of caching for the SSS had me flying out to Mt Kuring-gai first thing this morning before heading to Bobbin Head, Forestville, Narrabeen and Lindfield for more hides and finds! Phew! I'm exhausted
Lovely area for a cache here and it sure is a large one. I had a bit of trouble retrieving it and opening the lid, these sort of things are designed for bigger burlier cachers than I! However all was good in the end and I went for a bit of an explore further along the tracks as it was a lovely morning.
All those complicated calculations required to find this spot were well worth it. Thanks Baktrak

Tagged along with Team Merlin this afternoon with Team Merlin the brains in solving this puzzle. With coordinates in hand the cache was quickly discovered and a clean logsheet was signed for a FTF @7.15pm.

An afternoon caching in the Heights with JJCC. Great to see a puzzle innovatively constructed and with coordinates we ventured forward into the bush with the hum of civilisation overhead on this humid afternoon. The cache was quickly discovered and a clean logsheet was signed for a FTF @7.15pm.
