I was on my 4 days off and decided to head out to Whiteman park to clean up a few caches today. I spent a few weeks solving the C series and some of the P and W series. It was fun solving several of the puzzles in particular the jigsaws. I love solving jigsaw puzzles. As yet i have not solved all of them as i need some help with some of them. I printed off the Whiteman Park map and plotted all the coordinates into my phone on cgeo and then roughly plotted them on the map. This then gave me the opportunity to work out where to park and what caches to get from each parking spot.
I parked at a few different locations and did large loop walks collecting caches one of which was quite large due to the Keith Maine Centre being closed. I spent about 6 and a half hours walking and logging caches in the heat which was quite draining today. Luckily i had plenty of water and fruit to keep me going. The easterly breeze offered some respite from the heat but more so in the shade. All up i walked 10+km's which i did enjoy and only saw 6 kangaroos and one bobtail lizard.
All up i found 30 of the 31 solved caches in the series.
This cache was a very quick find and just as quick signing the log.
Thanks for the 3 great series Chwiliwr, Gwiber, TBH and Gwar.

Slowly working through these puzzles for the State of the Nations comp.
Took a few minutes to find this one and a PAF. Realised I'd copied one digit wrongly into the gps. Quick find once I moved the 20m or so. TFTC

Had a couple of spare hours this afternoon, so headed out to find a few more of this mystery series that I had solved previously. Had a lovely walk around this end of the park and found this one without trouble, spotted by a friend who was walking with me. Amazing, the size of some of these containers, so left a few knick knacks.
Thanks for the cache!

Headed out after the event with Lazarus to pick up a few of the mystery caches we had solved. We managed to get a few crossed off the list but left others for another day. There was one where we had the incorrect coordinates, so will have to go back to the drawing board on that one, and we still have some awaiting that moment where it all clicks together. All the finds were made fairly quickly. Many thanks for the caches.

Solved this one some time ago, but waited until after today's event to find & sign log.
Walked the trails hearing frequent buzzing coming from nearby Model Aircraft Club.
Thank you Chwiliwr, TBH, Gwiber & Gwawr for this stimulating series of mental challenge variety.
This is #22 of 27 in series found today. We must return to locate others we've solved.

Took the family to Whiteman Park and did a few walks around the trails to do the puzzle caches. Managed to stay dry by sheltering when it looked like showers but got wet walking back to the car from the final cache. All caches were found OK and apart from one in good condition.

My Grandparents took me to Whiteman Park to do some caches. They got wet going back to the car after the last cache but I stayed dry. I could hear the steam engine whistle all the time and saw it on the tracks when we were near them.
Granddad signed the log signed for me.
Thank you for the cache.

Out with the family doing the Whiteman Park puzzles and dodging the rain. Only got wet going back to the car after the last cache. Enjoyed the smell of the steam engine who passed us a few times on our various walks to the caches from where we had parked the car.

I had a free afternoon to myself so I took the opportunity to clean up a few caches that I hadn't found already in Whiteman Park. With my daughter and the mother-in-laws dog, we scurried around the tracks in between rain showers in search of the mysterious boxes. My daughter had an idea of where it was hidden but it took some direction on my part to move into position to be able to spot the hide. Nice to tick this one off the list! TFTC Gwiber
Woohoo!! Happy Australia Day! FTF at 3:51pm!
I got home from the morning's riding and racing and saw these new puzzles published, and set about solving them. Once I had most of them done I headed out in the blistering heat to make the finds.
This was the last one for the park today, a quick and easy find here.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache Gwiber!

Problem fixed.
Co-ord checker updated to correct coordinates so if you found the original ones before this log you will need to find them again as they have changed.
