Tried to find today, looked all over GZ but no luck for me, just lots of flying black things coming out of holes.

Out hunting mystery caches with Sophoutloud today I spent a good couple of hours trying to figure out a whole bunch of puzzles some of you folk are very clever (and evil Laughing ) and there has been a lot of work put into these caches. once my brain started to hurt we headed off in search of the caches, most of these haven't seen people for over 2 years and we were pleasantly surprised that every one we searched for was present and in great condition. This one nearly stumped us but after a good read of the description we made a plan and it payed off. Sophie got lost in a tree and eventually came dug out the cache. TFTC this was a good one

Out with Outdoornut to bag a few mystery caches around our area, he did the brain work while I did the leg work today Laughing we were a little thrown off to start with but after thinking and reading over it again we showed up to the right place and after a few minutes of digging into a tree we managed to extract a cache that hasn't seen a human for a few years. #GA2291 - 14:25; When the States of the Nation game began, a plan was hatched for a group of ACT cachers to take a trip north to the Hawkesbury on a scavenger raid. As time passed the group's numbers dwindled, but with a bit of work solving puzzles and a few things rescheduled, our merry band comprising andrewbt, Sol de lune and I set off on a damp Canberra morning to try our hand. A recent visit to Canberra by cachers from this area provided an added incentive, so we could repay the karma points we gained from their visit. A successful day it turned out to be with 56 finds and only three DNFs. I remember looking at this cache when it was first published and coming up with a theory which was put to the test today. It came up Trumps (pardon the pun). Fake news perhaps? TFTC teamMerlin Very HappyClan Cerberus

Next stop with LuckyL10n and AndrewBT.

This was interesting...and fun cache. Enjoy the way cachers think and what we come up with.

Had an initial read and looked at things, then had a talk with the others and we worked out was really required. Cool.

Found the cache ok and soon had our names in the log....and then we were off to another.

Thanks TeamMerlin......good fun. Recommended

Returned today on my way home from a nearby GC event, where I'd been informed that the missing cache had been replaced. Still took me ages to find and then none of my pens worked. Go figure...

Thanks to Team Merlin for replacing this so quickly. This was such a fun cache........ it tested my mental powers and when I finally figured out its location, I thought I'd need all my physical strength and skills to finally make the find. Luckily the caching gods were smiling today. I'd remembered to bring the ladder, but the sheer amount of muggles visiting the cemetery who watched me scale the heights, gave me the heebee jeebees but it just had to be done. ShockedLaughing

Dropped by tbis evening as noticed the recent DNFs. Cache is MIA, so have replaced container with new logsheet.

This extremely difficult puzzle was way too easy to find Sad

21-May-17
Unbelievably difficult cache. I have been working on this puzzle for over 5 years and only solved it when I discussed this puzzle with a sadhu in Kathmandu last Decemeber.
Although I am fully qualified abseiling / canyong and climnbing guide, the difficulty of this cache was extreme to the max and took all my resolve and courage to conquer.

Glad this ordeal is over!

A hot day exploring western regions, and discovering much more than expected out there.
Baktrak's puzzling won the cache.
thanks teamMerlin

In all my years of geocaching I've never been so frustrated and frightened by such a difficult hide. We pondered the description for days before finally getting some useful numbers. Then today, we braved the inclement, icy, torrential downpour to arrive at GC only to find a funeral in progress right below. Hours passed until at last we were able get our ladder up against the structure and ascend for the search. The lightning strikes and gusty winds almost turned us back but we were determined to succeed after all the effort and time so far. At the top, it took another 2 hours before we caught a glimpse of the hide and then, rubbing salt into the wound, there's the field puzzle from hell to complete. Well, our names are in the log but I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. I can't image what you were thinking teamMerlin and if you expect a thankyou for this, you better think again.

A helpful hint and away I was to determine this mystery.
Out for a few caches today nice walk and a quick find of this cache.
Signed log and returned as found.

Solved this one at the event, then stopped to find it on our way home. Others were also intending to look, but we got there first & claimed the first to find spot.

Bikerbuddy & I were really low on steps for the day, so we left the car at this spot & walked up to the church for the history cache, then back to the car. When we saw how many steps that got us, we decided to keep walking loops of the park until we got our daily goal. We were just about to leave when Alnic & Blossom & co arrived.

Thanks Very Happy . I'm feeling the burn today from the effort of abseiling down that cliff to find this one Twisted EvilVery Happy

After the event at Tizannas had to go through Wilberforce so stopped to pick up 2 caches on my way home. This was the first one of the two finds. Calculated GZ while at the event and then pulled up nearby. As I got there, there was s boy riding his bike nearby so waited till he rode off before I went in. Found the cache and walked away to sign the log. The started hearing voices and saw a family unpacking their vehicle. To replace the cache had to wait for them to ho back to their car, which was out of sight then a quick bolt to replace the cache. Thanks for the puzzle cache teamMerlin

Found with the geofam and Blossom.

This just goes to show that you can't trust anyone anymore. Woked out at the event and everyone went off in different directions. the kids and I ended up following Blossom* - she's got the points in this clan, so she was the best choice to follow. Great fun

Fantastic idea!

Worked out some mysteries at the event at Tizzana, so Lucky1955 & I set out to find a few. Great way to spend Australia Day.

I loved this cache, it's so clever! As we drove up to GZ, a few other cars pulled away, then as we pulled away, more cars arrived Dancing It was a very popular cache this evening!
