After a long day out on the yard mowing lawns and tidying up etc. we opened the front door to be greeted with a bag of moveables that were kindly dropped off by another team.
This was one of the moveables in the bag. TFTC

We'd had this moveable cache for far too long so contacted another local team and passed them on

A quick find during a visit to Ulverstone, great to see a new moveable cache in north west Tasmania!! We'll move this one on in the next couple of days so it can continue it's tour of Tassie. Thanks for the cache and thanks to 2y'stassies for bringing some mainland caches to the south island

After a good clean and dry out Mountain Views is ready to start its tour of the little island and is looking forward to some different mountain views.

We found this moveable in the company of two others hiding in a hollow in a large tree trunk protected by a Woolies shopping bag. They had been in residence for almost a year.

We have collected this cache and will move it on soon.

With a day off and possible FTF’s along the ES trail behind Bookham, I decided on going out there to collect the next chunk of caches along the road. A little more purple then last time I was out here. It was a very peaceful drive until one of the locals hassled me, about what I was doing. She knew about Geocaching but wasn’t fully convinced that was what I was doing, **so future Cacher’s beware.** Other than that, I have now have completed the Dirt part of the trail and a couple of others along the way, which included finding some GCA Moveable caches. These moveable caches have already been moved to the above location. TB visit on all caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and to DSD for maintaining the PT. My trip to the Mega was great, found lab caches which while like gadgets are new icons to me. Found some great caches and brought back some neat ideas for new caches in Tasmania.

We went looking for this one at its previous location on our way to the Mega. It was supposed to be beside another moveable which had the option of take it or leave it. We signed the latter and picked up another one beside it to bring it north with us. Some distance up the road, I opened the cache and we discovered that we had inadvertently picked up a GC traditional cache called Snowy Mountain Views! Too late to turn back to return it, I wrote an apology log, and marked it In Transit. We will put it back in its position on our return. In the meantime when I saw this on the moveable table I knew that the Tassie Trekkers had picked this up on their way here.
Thanks for the cache TeamMerlin, in spite of the silly position it has left me in.

#GA3447 - 16:15; I received a call from Sol de lune about attending the Australia Day Moveable Event 2018 (GA13470) (or should it have been 2019?) at the Tizzana Winery near Ebenezer. I had missed the previous event held there earlier in the month, so jumped at the chance to go today. Little did I know how the day would turn out! We made our way to arrive at the winery right on time, collecting some GC and GCA caches along the way. Reached GZ and found teamMerlin, thomo31, phlphotos and snoopy1976 already in attendance, along with a plethora of moveables. Afterwards though, the car had broken down and remains where we left it, even after assistance from the NRMA teamMerlin kindly provided some sustenance and a lift to the train station, which was much appreciated, from whence we made our way to the CBD for an unscheduled stopover After confirming the car was still a no go, we jumped the bus home, but will be back to retrieve said geomobile once it's been fixed Managed to bag 30 moveables I had not previously logged from the 101 available at the event. At the end of the event this was one of the moveables I ended up with. Next it to find a place to hide it for the next finder. As the game ends they may be further apart between finds. Thanks for the moveable which was one of 101 that made their way to Ebenezer. Good luck on any further moves

The latest Geocaching Australia game runs from 01-Dec-2018 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2019 23:59:59 AEST

For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath.

A moving cache, by nature, may have been moved since you last determined its location. It may have been picked up but not yet rehidden so it's considered 'in-transit'. There is no foolproof method of determining where a cache is simply by the log types that have been placed against the cache.

Headed up to Ebenezer with LuckyL10n to attend the Aussie Day event. 45 degree day made for a bit of a fun trip, however it was pleasant in the winery building. A good few hardy souls were in attendance as well as over 100 moveables. Some good conversation with cachers not met before and a good couple of hours was had by all. The trip home was a little different to what was expected but turned out ok....
