Another park and walk, but with plenty of water and a bit of shade it wasn't too bad. Took a bit to get back to the car, but with (what we hope is) plenty of time, all should be good. Found the cache ok and soon had our names in the log book.

Thanks for yet another one Splitty Miller JJCC....

#GA2300 - 15:15; When the States of the Nation game began, a plan was hatched for a group of ACT cachers to take a trip north to the Hawkesbury on a scavenger raid. As time passed the group's numbers dwindled, but with a bit of work solving puzzles and a few things rescheduled, our merry band comprising andrewbt, Sol de lune and I set off on a damp Canberra morning to try our hand. A recent visit to Canberra by cachers from this area provided an added incentive, so we could repay the karma points we gained from their visit. A successful day it turned out to be with 56 finds and only three DNFs. This one was a bit of a wander down the hill and back, but managed to collect the cache, so all good. Not quite 50 shades, but a few anyway. TFTC Splitty Miller JJCC Very HappyClan Cerberus

39th of 56th today. Nicely hidden and in good shape. Wasn't quite the park n grab we expected but a nice hot walk is always good

Only 4 shades of grey? That's decadent minimalism. Thanks Splitty Miller JJCC.

I'd never seen this type of puzzle before, so it had me stumped. Fortunately something twigged and after some research I found a tool that would help. Finally I had a set of coords and today before the event, I was able to go for another leisurely stroll and found myself a nice cache that had not been found since January. No problems with the find today. Great cache.

Enjoyed the puzzle - first one of the kind for me but found the way in quickly. Attended nearby "In search fer th' lost loot o' Mary Hyde" event and took the opportunity to collect some points for Christmas in July. Didn't take the closest park but helped get some more steps on the fitbit. Searched in amongst some prickly stuff before finding cache a little further away. Second of 4 finds for the afternoon.

This was the second cache I worked on Saturday evening it was a quick solution as have seen this code before. Ran out of time for this one on Sunday got within 650 m but knowing where my car was parked & what time I was due somewhere else. So left this one for another day. This is another day even though it was late afternoon it was still over 42°. Thankfully the walk in was shaded and not too far from parking spot. Found the cache without too much effort and was able to sign the log & replace as found. Thanks for the puzzle Splitty Miller JJCC

It seems I followed Blossom's steps this morning. Glad to be out and about before the heat really builds up.

Walked in the door at home and noticed this new cache, so worked through a couple of scenarios. Have seen a colour version like this, but once the correct cipher was found everything fell into place. A quick drive down the road and a brisk walk later had the cache in hand with a new logsheet. TFTC Splitty Miller JJCC
