I was on my 4 days off and decided to head out to Whiteman park to clean up a few caches today. I spent a few weeks solving the C series and some of the P and W series. It was fun solving several of the puzzles in particular the jigsaws. I love solving jigsaw puzzles. As yet i have not solved all of them as i need some help with some of them. I printed off the Whiteman Park map and plotted all the coordinates into my phone on cgeo and then roughly plotted them on the map. This then gave me the opportunity to work out where to park and what caches to get from each parking spot.

I parked at a few different locations and did large loop walks collecting caches one of which was quite large due to the Keith Maine Centre being closed. I spent about 6 and a half hours walking and logging caches in the heat which was quite draining today. Luckily i had plenty of water and fruit to keep me going. The easterly breeze offered some respite from the heat but more so in the shade. All up i walked 10+km's which i did enjoy and only saw 6 kangaroos and one bobtail lizard.
All up i found 30 of the 31 solved caches in the series.
I wandered around the gz a couple of times in different directions for change of light then expanded my search inwards at one spot and found it and signed the log. There could have been multiple places for searching but i chose wisely first time.
Thanks for the 3 great series Chwiliwr, Gwiber, TBH and Gwar. ClappingClapping

Out for the afternoon picking up a few more caches in Whiteman Park. We arrived near ground zero and I could see the cache but how to get there without filling the shoes up with water. After treading carefully I had the cache in hand and water slowly seeping into my shoes, Why did I put on the new white socks, hopefully they come good in the wash. Signed the log and set off with very damp feet.

Solved this one some time ago, but waited until today with my statistics saying 27th of month has been my slackest day; plus coincides with Saturday, geo-buddy hhheddy available to keep me company. Thank you Chwiliwr, TBH, Gwiber & Gwawr for this stimulating series of mental challenge variety.
This one involved some bridge-building to help grab container.

I deleted my "noted" log as I finally nabbed this one today after being thwarted in my attempt last time. I approached cautiously today and surveyed all of the possible approach points. But yep, there was no other option, so I took the plunge, tried to overcome my fear of creepy crawlies, and soon had the cache in hand. I was determined to get this one today.

Thanks for this challenge and the cache.

Took the family to Whiteman Park and did a few walks around the trails to do the puzzle caches. Managed to stay dry by sheltering when it looked like showers but got wet walking back to the car from the final cache. All caches were found OK and apart from one in good condition.

Log signed and cache returned as found.

Thank you for the puzzle and cache.

My Grandparents took me to Whiteman Park to do some caches. They got wet going back to the car after the last cache but I stayed dry. I could hear the steam engine whistle all the time and saw it on the tracks when we were near them.

Granddad signed the log signed for me.

Thank you for the cache.

I had a free afternoon to myself so I took the opportunity to clean up a few remaining caches in Whiteman Park that I hadnt got a chance to previously. This one took me about 30 mins to find. So many places to check and no idea where to start. After going around and around in circles, I extended the search after looking at the GPS, and found it in an unexpected place. TFTC tbh

Woohoo!! FTF at 3:18pm!

Initially I couldn't solve this puzzle as I found a problem with it, but after that was resolved I set about solving it, and got the correct coords.
At GZ I was very happy to make a quick and easy find as there were a hundred possible hiding spots.

Thanks for the puzzle and the cache tbh!
