I was on my 4 days off and decided to head out to Whiteman park to clean up a few caches today. I spent a few weeks solving the C series and some of the P and W series. It was fun solving several of the puzzles in particular the jigsaws. I love solving jigsaw puzzles. As yet i have not solved all of them as i need some help with some of them. I printed off the Whiteman Park map and plotted all the coordinates into my phone on cgeo and then roughly plotted them on the map. This then gave me the opportunity to work out where to park and what caches to get from each parking spot.
I parked at a few different locations and did large loop walks collecting caches one of which was quite large due to the Keith Maine Centre being closed. I spent about 6 and a half hours walking and logging caches in the heat which was quite draining today. Luckily i had plenty of water and fruit to keep me going. The easterly breeze offered some respite from the heat but more so in the shade. All up i walked 10+km's which i did enjoy and only saw 6 kangaroos and one bobtail lizard.
All up i found 30 of the 31 solved caches in the series.
This cache had me stumped for a minute or two but the spied the cache and signed the log.
Thanks for the 3 great series Chwiliwr, Gwiber, TBH and Gwar.

Out today clearing out some solved puzzles in Whiteman Park with Lazarus. I managed to grab as many as I could but will have to return another day to finish off the series. I still have a few puzzles remaining on the to solve list and a few solved but yet to be found list. The cache was found replaced as found once the signing duties were completed. Many thanks Gwiber for the puzzle and the cache.

Well my GCA statistics were telling me my finds are low on Friday's + the 15th of the month; so when both coincided i had no excuse, must get outdoors & collect finds. Well you know you're on an adventure when you're following kangaroo-made tracks, little evidence of humans. Had solved this puzzle some months ago, but of course waited to attempt multiple in this series.
This one took some time to find. Thank you Chwiliwr, tbh, Gwiber, Gwawr.

I've solved about 2/3 of these mysteries now, so slowly getting here to log them all. Had a couple of hours this afternoon, so decided to tick a few off my list.
Had a lovely wander out to this one and searched for some time at GZ, I was about to give up when a log from a previous cacher gave me hope, so I persevered! After a bit more searching, I spied with my little eye... A great little hide! A cheeky, cheeky puzzle and a cheeky, cheeky hide!
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.

Took the family to Whiteman Park and did a few walks around the trails to do the puzzle caches. Managed to stay dry by sheltering when it looked like showers but got wet walking back to the car from the final cache. All caches were found OK and apart from one in good condition.

My Grandparents took me to Whiteman Park to do some caches. They got wet going back to the car after the last cache but I stayed dry. I could hear the steam engine whistle all the time and saw it on the tracks when we were near them.
Granddad signed the log signed for me.
Thank you for the cache.

Out with the family doing the Whiteman Park puzzles and dodging the rain. Only got wet going back to the car after the last cache. Enjoyed the smell of the steam engine who passed us a few times on our various walks to the caches from where we had parked the car.

FTF @ 3:10pm! And the first to complete the Whiteman C series. I had a free afternoon to myself so I took the opportunity to clean up a few remaining caches in Whiteman Park that I hadnt got a chance to previously. My first time here to find this one. I searched quite thoroughly a 20m radius around GZ, before returning to the zero point after about 20 mins. After feeling for it so much, I stopped and looked a little closer, and noticed a tiny glimpse of the container! My initial reaction was complete disbelief. This was the last cache in the series for me to find and the best was left til last. Brilliantly placed! TFTC Gwiber
I was in the area this afternoon picking up some moveable caches, and decided to have another look for this one. Scoured the area again, looked up high and down low, in some grass trees and some low clumpy bushes, and around a big tree, but didn't find the cache again... sigh.
When I first solved this one I made a mistake in reading the code which meant my answer didn't line up with the checker. But last time I was out this way I decided to have a look around my calculated GZ anyway, and didn't find the cache.
After a few more frustrating hours I finally found the problem and found that I was actually very close last time, and looked at the correct GZ area. So today I was back again, and looked at the same spots, and a few more, and still didn't find the cache.
I checked high and low, in obvious and unobvious spots, but couldn't find it.
