After getting the 3 new ones at Asquith it was time to come along this little trail of mysteries hoping for some scavenge points for the summer game. Certainly earned my smileys in today's heat and managed a total of 9 finds before the heat beat me and I retreated to the Berowra pub for a cold cider. Nice easy find near the side of the track. With my original TAFE training and hobby many years ago this one fell into place. Thanks Baktrak.
Out again this morning for some more Baktraking adventure all in the name of the 2017 Scavenger hunt.
A quick find, and the cache is in good shape.

This puzzle did not take me long to solve as I'd heard of this code before. This was the first one I'd solved. GZ here proved to be no problem compared to where I'd just come from. There were a few possibilities but after a few revealed nothing the cache was spotted. That was so much quicker than the other 2. Another top puzzle.

Team Merlin had previously determined the final coordinates for this cache
So out today with Team Merlin to collect while in the area.
Such a wonderful day to cache.
Once found we signed our names and replaced as found and moved on to the next cache on our list.
Thanks Baktrak.

Cracked the puzzle soon after publication, but it wasn't until today that an opportunity presented itself to venture out and collect a few caches around Mount Kuring-Gai. Parking nearby we made our way the track and out towards GZ where a quick find was made of the container. After signing our names, we replaced as found and moved on to the next cache on our list.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache Baktrak.

I'm still on a learning curve with my new Garmin toy as well as GCA and I blame that for missing this one when in the area yesterday. Returned and overshot by quite a long way. Found familiar container after short bush bash on the way back.

A quick look at the GCA site finds quite a few new puzzles close by. This one quickly solved. Took the MTB out in the light rain to enjoy the wet tracks. Sped past GZ and then hooked back around. Some slightly trampled ground pointed the way. Numerous possibilities at GZ but eventually found the right one. Signed and replaced as found. Thanks Baktrak.

#GA1268 - 13:00; Day 2 of a Sydney caching mission with Sol de lune. This cache was hastily added to the itinerary for today after a puzzle solving session over breakfast this morning. Initially headed to the wrong parking area, but eventually made our way to a convenient spot where we set off on foot. Made it to GZ and after widening the search area, came up with the goods and a blank logbook for a surprise *FTF*. TFTC Baktrak

In the area for a couple of days caching with LuckyL10n and notice these new cache. Solved them over breakfast at the motel and included them in the days run.
Pulled into the wrong area up top to start with, then noticed we should be somewhere else and set off to find a way in. Not being familiar with the area, we eventually found our start point and started the trek in. Not too long and we found ourselves at GZ and after a shortish search, the good size cache was in hand. Log was signed cache replaced and we took off for the next one....
Thanks Baktrak....neat little puzzle to solve and a cool area for a walk...and a *FTF* to boot.
