Caching in the area with whitewebbs and this was one of the caches we found. A great series that we enjoyed solving and finding. Unfortunately this one has been damaged in the recent burn off and will need some attention.

Day 57 Mainland trip
Out and about with Tassie Trekkers hunting down GCA caches and this was one we found. Unfortunately the container has been through a fire and only the tin remains, added a note sheet and rehid near burnt log. (see photos). TFTC

#GA3473 - 11:30; Arrived in Brisbane this morning with Sol de lune for day 1 of a long planned mission to cache South East Queensland. After collecting the hire geomobile, we headed up to Mount Gravatt for our first stop and to grab a couple of snaps of the local trig. It was then on to Redlands to try our hand at this series. After collecting our first three in the series we headed down the road for a couple more. After a visit to Mulga Bill, we had information concerning the whereabouts of this cache. Made our way over and despite the increasing temperature, located the cache. TFTC Sambuccasam

Day 1 of a 5 day caching run around south east Queensland with LuckyL10n.

After flying in we grabbed our hire car and headed down this way to tackle these caches. We had solved all we could beforehand and the plan was to grab those, and the co-ords for the others out of the caches we found.

After finding the co-ords as promised, we decided to head over to this one while in the area. No issues at all and the cache was soon in hand. Once signed, everythogn was put back as found and we were off...just like grey nomads.

Thanks again Sambuccasam….we enjoy long weekends, even those of us who are retired.

We've never visited this reserve before and we really enjoyed it. Saw quite a few wallabies and a big goanna here. Cicadas were almost deafening.
Another nicely themed cache - great tin! Good coords made for a quick find here.
Cache is in excellent condition.

**FTF** we found this cache while out hunting for caches in the Winter series 2017 games ,this is a great reserve with good walking tracks and many wildlife about we are having fun with this series and would recommend it to all ,cheers to the CO for taking the time and effort to place the caches
