Description

This is my first cache, released on the last day of the Summer Scavenger Series. It has taken me 62 days to get the courage to publish a cache.

This piece of parkland has no apparent name and has a few entrances, some of which have associated playgrounds, for young childen. I hope that you enjoy the short walk, or ride.

The cache contains the log, pencil and a few small swaps.

Please hide the cache as found to discourage accidental discovery by muggles.

**FTF** Congratulations to : EuDes

Found on 30/11/2021. My first GeoCache. Well hidden but found without using hint/clue.
I only live within 10 minutes walk of GeoCache, do a very quick walk, both there & back. So happy to do a regular check if asked.

My girls and I have just started geocaching and this was our first cache. Thank you!
Initially, we almost gave up finding it!

It was a cold morning so to warm up I walked around my neighbourhood and did a maintenance check on this cache. It is clean, dry, well hidden and waiting for the next finder.

#GA3184 - 12:00; In Melbourne for a couple of days with Sol de lune and after a later than usual start to the day, we headed over to give a new series in Darebin a try. We managed to find 10 of 17 for our efforts for 10 *FTF* as a bonus before heading further afield to collect moveables and anything else in the vicinity. After grabbing some moveables along the way, we managed to pick this one up on our travels. TFTC cathlud Very HappyClan Cerberus

In Melbourne for both family reasons/visits and a bit of caching, with LuckyL10n along for the ride. Headed out this way to grab a couple of moveables and while being, sort of close by, came over for this one as well. Once in the park, the cache was found after a short search and our names were soon in the log book.

Thanks Cathlud....great to find some of these caches from past games...

While one of us visited the supermarket the other escaped to look for this cache.

It was interesting to survey the park area from the top of the hill. There seemed to be a number of tracks through the area.

After a stroll down, a stop for a chat with a dog walking muggle and a further stroll up hill the hide was reached. Extraction of the container took a little time as it was well wedged into hiding hole. The container and contents were in good condition.

Thanks for this cache Cathlud. It is nice to visit these green belts in builtup areas.

We were in the area picking up a couple of GCA caches and it's time for lunch so this was the last for today. The kids played on the playground for a while then we headed up the hill. A nice quick find but the hole was tight so it took me a minute to retrieve the container.
Thanks cathlud for the cache.

A nice easy find on a day where we were out looking for GCA geocaches for Christmas in July. This one fitted the bill perfectly.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for taking the effort to hide a geocache. Not everyone will but those who hide certainloy contribute much back to the game.

I took the scenic route from Whittlesea, where we farewelled a friend that survived the Black Saturday fires, but recently succumbed to leukaemia.

The walk in to this reserve was definitely a welcome leg stretch after being stuck inside a church and standing around reminiscing afterward. Thanks, cathlud, for a fine diversion.

Hi Catherine , well this is a change , me writing a log for a cache of yours ! I haven't looked at GA caches for a while, and didn't even realise you put one out until now. I've never ventured through this easement before, probably the next time will be when they turn it into the freeway it's been put aside for, and these houses will all back onto it. Enjoy the peace and quiet while you can, progress is not far aaay.
Thanks for the cache, hope to see some GC caches of yours one day too Smile

I decided to take a lunchtime escape for a look for this one given that it seemed to have remained undisturbed by the local caching community. Shocked Sure enough, upon arrival at GZ and after a bit of manipulation of the container to remove it from its hidey-hole, I was signing a blank logbook at 13:30 for the 12th time for a GCA cache Dancing (and our 78th time overall).
