This was next on my sojourn along here to see if I could find this cluster of cache. A squiz at the hint focussed my attention and that had me with the stash in hand at 15:05 for its first find in almost 20 months.

This one had been on my radar for far too long.

Made time today to grab a couple of GCA Caches on a lovely warm day for a stroll along the trail.

Over the passed 35 years we have spent quite a lot of time in Werribee with family members and have watched it move from a country town that seemed a long way form the city to part of the urban sprawl where it is almost a suburb of Melbourne. Today we meandered our way through the streets to the walking track. First we made our way to the history cache then on to this on. As se approached the search area we were a little alarmed as the area beside the path had recently been cleaned up with vegetation cut back to the fence and the cleared areas barked. Would the cache still be there?

We need not have worried as we soon spotted the cache. The container and contents were in good condition.

Thanks for this cache Themd and for bringing us to an area of Werribee we had not previously visited. We enjoyed our morning walk.

As I was “ out of area “ I wasn’t really sure how to get to this cache. I put the address into Google Maps and I’m not sure it was the most direct route but I saw lots of lovely houses and small roads! A quick walk along a deserted track/ walkway and the cache was soon in hand. It was good to have a GA cache in another state and an area I hadn’t cached in previously. TFTC

In Melbourne for few days with LuckyL10n and this was our next stop. No problems and the cache was soon in hand. Cache in good condition.

#GA3191 - 16:15; In Melbourne for a couple of days with Sol de lune and after a later than usual start to the day, we headed over to give a new series in Darebin a try. We managed to find 10 of 17 for our efforts for 10 *FTF* as a bonus before heading further afield to collect moveables and anything else in the vicinity. After our circuit around to the east, we were now in the wild west and rounding up a few dinosaurs, and dropping a few moveables after a moveable muster in the National Capital. Picked up this cache while doing drop offs in the area. TFTC themd

We are currently touring Victoria with our geovan in tow, using geocaching as a guide. We have visited many amazing locations through geocaching and your cache Sayonara to the Summer Scavenger Series was one we found along the way.

I caught the train out to Werribee for one of the pre-Mega events, bringing my bike so I could finally ride the Federation Trail that we spent so much time and effort campaigning for in the '90s... so her I am, beginning the homeward journey with a nice straightforward find.

Summer's long gone... it's gonna be bloody chilly once the sun finishes setting.

A quick find at this location as the most obvious location also held the cache. It was nice to get along this area as it's not a place I've taken a walk down before. Some more along this track would be very nice to get to regardless of weather with a well done path and some trees here and there.
Took nothing, left nothing.
