After finding P#9 I entered the co-ords for this one.2.8 kms round trip, ah well, was a nice evening for a walk, and a nice easy find at GZ
Nearly dark by the time I got back to the car LOL Had thoughts of being locked in the park as it closes at 6.00pm

Mrs jinta and I had some spare time today so we set off to Whiteman Park find some GCA caches! We had a lot of solved puzzle caches to find and this was one of them. Cheers for placing this one. jinta29

I was on my 4 days off and decided to head out to Whiteman park to clean up a few caches today. I spent a few weeks solving the C series and some of the P and W series. It was fun solving several of the puzzles in particular the jigsaws. I love solving jigsaw puzzles. As yet i have not solved all of them as i need some help with some of them. I printed off the Whiteman Park map and plotted all the coordinates into my phone on cgeo and then roughly plotted them on the map. This then gave me the opportunity to work out where to park and what caches to get from each parking spot.
I parked at a few different locations and did large loop walks collecting caches one of which was quite large due to the Keith Maine Centre being closed. I spent about 6 and a half hours walking and logging caches in the heat which was quite draining today. Luckily i had plenty of water and fruit to keep me going. The easterly breeze offered some respite from the heat but more so in the shade. All up i walked 10+km's which i did enjoy and only saw 6 kangaroos and one bobtail lizard.
All up i found 30 of the 31 solved caches in the series.
This cache was a very quick find and just as quick signing the log. Great hiding spot here.
Thanks for the 3 great series Chwiliwr, Gwiber, TBH and Gwar.

Headed out after the event with Lazarus to pick up a few of the mystery caches we had solved. We managed to get a few crossed off the list but left others for another day. There was one where we had the incorrect coordinates, so will have to go back to the drawing board on that one, and we still have some awaiting that moment where it all clicks together. All the finds were made fairly quickly. Many thanks for the caches.

Solved this one some time ago, but waited until after today's event to find & sign log.
Walked the trails hearing frequent buzzing coming from nearby Model Aircraft Club.
Thank you Chwiliwr, TBH, Gwiber & Gwawr for this stimulating series of mental challenge variety.
This is #15 of 27 in series found today. We must return to locate others we've solved.

I had a spare hour today, so thought I would head out and grab a small handful of these mystery caches that we had solved. Many more to go!
I was a bit nervy whilst in the area coming into snake season and almost had a heart attack when a stick jumped up and attacked my shin (photo). Arrived safe and unharmed at GZ and pleased to make a quick find here.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache!

Took the family to Whiteman Park and did a few walks around the trails to do the puzzle caches. Managed to stay dry by sheltering when it looked like showers but got wet walking back to the car from the final cache. All caches were found OK and apart from one in good condition.
Log signed and cache returned as found.
Thank you for the puzzle and cache.

My Grandparents took me to Whiteman Park to do some caches. They got wet going back to the car after the last cache but I stayed dry. I could hear the steam engine whistle all the time and saw it on the tracks when we were near them.
Granddad signed the log signed for me.
Thank you for the cache.

I had a free afternoon to myself so I took the opportunity to clean up a few remaining caches in Whiteman Park that I hadnt got a chance to previously. Not sure I found the easiest way to arrive at GZ, but once I got there it was a straightforward find. TFTC tbh
Quick find while out on an afternoon of GCA cache hunting. Solved several of these puzzles recently so time to find them ... hopefully. TFTC
I have had this one solved for quite a while, and after finding a few others nearby I finally got the chance to stop in at this one too. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache tbh.
