Description
The Western Ring Path is the continuation of the Western Freeway Path along the Western Ring Road and provide more opportunity for some walking or cycling along a nicely made asphalt path way.
Access to this section of the path can be made from Federation Way where there is is on street residential parking or via Fitzgerald Rd although there is no close parking at this access point.
Take your bike or take a walk along the path and look for some geocaches. This location marks the start of the wester ring path. The other side of Fitzgerald Road is the Western Freeway Path. Nevertheless there is now a series of geocaches hidden along this pathway with more to come in the future. You are looking for a 200ml sistema container and if the co-ordinates are accurate (and I hope they are) the location should be obvious. The hide was actually already in place here, it was just slightly adjusted to accommodate the geocache itself. I susepct that the cache will be just fine in here as the hide looks like it has been here since the fence was constrcted, but your help in hiding it well will ensure its longevity.

Logs
Our last day of caching the trails, with a target of 35 caches. We managed a total of 21 finds and 14 DNF'S.
Cache and contents are in good contition.
Many thanks caughtatwork for all the caches you have placed, we appreciate the time and effort gone into placing them.
Nice piece of cammo has kept this log safe.
I then left my name and moved on.

Hahaha... I have an old one of these in my garage, retrieved from an archived HomerJ cache... should put it out.

Well.
This wasn't the day I'd planned, but family matters had turned the weekend on its head. Between sleeping in after the fun of caching in the dark until so late it was almost early, and staying at home to referee while the better half ran some errands, it wasn't until mid afternoon that I rolled out the gate.
Finally logging my first cache for the day after crossing the Whitten Bridge, I continued anticlockwise around the Ring Road, bagging 42 finds, and a handful of DNFs.
Thanks, C@W... today's haul has gone a long way toward my ambition of getting my GA logs over 10% of the GC total.

All was good with the caches and all were found in good condition.
Thanks for the continuing series C@W.....
I found this cache without the GPS. I read the details and then looked for a suitable hiding spot. My aunt thought that I was very clever but sometimes she thinks that I am cheeky.
Thank you for placing this cache and for this fun series.
This was our bonus cache for today. Although it is named "The Start" it was 'the end' for us. After finding "Golden Micro" and walking back to "Tall Fencing" where our car was parked PrincessFiona realised that she had left her home-made slime/playdough at "Golden Micro". Instead of walking back we decided to drive to Fitzgerald Rd and make a shorter walk.
After retrieving the slime/playdough we found this cache on our way back to the car.
Today I found 18 of 18 (no DNFs) and we will continue the series at a later date but for now we will go home and use these finds as part of the "Christmas in July" game.
Thank you caughtatwork for this wonderful series. It was very suitable for my niece (11 years old) and I (50+).
