Description
The Western Ring Path is the continuation of the Western Freeway Path along the Western Ring Road and provide more opportunity for some walking or cycling along a nicely made asphalt path way.
Access to this section of the path can be made from Federation Way where there is is on street residential parking or via Fitzgerald Rd although there is no close parking at this access point.
Take your bike or take a walk along the path and look for some geocaches. The Golden Micro was the only coloured micro I had on me at the time I was planting the geocaches along this path, so it is what it is. That does make it slightly easier to spot than a green or black but you might still strugle to find this little blighter. You do NOT need to cross the fence (the co-ordinates might have you on the wrong side by a metre or two) and the cache is accessible from the path side. The location initially looks like a needle in a haystack, so there is a good hint that should narrow it down for you considerably. I will say that it's not in a tree and the cache (obviously) is gold and a micro (bison tube)

Logs
Our last day of caching the trails, with a target of 35 caches. We managed a total of 21 finds and 14 DNF'S.
Cache and contents are in good contition.
Many thanks caughtatwork for all the caches you have placed, we appreciate the time and effort gone into placing them.
At first I thought it had been muggled.
The area here smelt rather lovely not.
Then I spotted the glistening cache nice and well disguised.

Micro... check. Golden... check. Bang on GZ according to the GPSr, and the first place I checked. Perfect.

Well.
This wasn't the day I'd planned, but family matters had turned the weekend on its head. Between sleeping in after the fun of caching in the dark until so late it was almost early, and staying at home to referee while the better half ran some errands, it wasn't until mid afternoon that I rolled out the gate.
Finally logging my first cache for the day after crossing the Whitten Bridge, I continued anticlockwise around the Ring Road, bagging 42 finds, and a handful of DNFs.
Thanks, C@W... today's haul has gone a long way toward my ambition of getting my GA logs over 10% of the GC total.
GCA#295
All was good with the caches and all were found in good condition.
Thanks for the continuing series C@W.....
My auntie told me where to search for this cache but I couldn't find it until she gave me an extra hint and then I found it. I like the golden colour.
Thank you for placing this cache.
For the last section of our walk we moved our car to Federation Way and planned to do six more caches (towards Fitzgerald Rd) before heading home.
My caching experience allowed me to locate this cache quickly while the princess had walked past without noticing it.
Thank you caughtatwork for this series.
