Description
I was driving through this area collecting caches when i stumbled upon this monument which i doubt most South Australians would not know was here. So i thought i would change this and place a cache here.
"This monument is in honour of the efforts of the firefighters in the air, on the ground and the locals who stayed and defended "Sambell Island" during the horrific Sampson Flat fire of January 2015"
This cache is a nano and should be a very easy find. You may need a geoextraction tool and you will need a geowriting tool to sign the log.
Hope you find this interesting.

Finding GCA caches today and this was one we found. Nice hide, cache and contents in excellent condition.

Accurate coordinates and a logical hide location led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks dezzabills for the cache.
Found It!
Interesting little memorial I never knew about. And a quick find to which is always good for a nano!

Past this way again this morning and braved the chilly conditions to make this find.
The evidence of the fires is still quite obvious along this road!
Cache was thankfully a nice quick find and sign once I had chased the guard spider away

A neat memorial in a very idyllic location.
The cache was a quick find, and was extracted and replaced with ease. As we've always said, "The only good nano is a 'found' nano!"
Thanks dezzabills.
