Description
Random Bricks - Western Ring Path
The Western Ring Path is the continuation of the Western Freeway Path along the Western Ring Road and provide more opportunity for some walking or cycling along a nicely made asphalt path way.
This location is not particularly nice, is rather noisy, you will be spotted by cars stopped by the railway crossing, the noise of the railway crossing, the trains and they whoosh past and their whistles as they approach. All in all, not a place to bring your kids for an afternoon, but as you're already walking this way to get some geocaches that might appear across the road, well you may as well stop and have a quick look. While we were at this location we found these random bricks by the side of the road. What causes bricks to just appear here? Who knows? Either way, they are now the hiding place for a small 200ml Sistema container.

Logs
Cache and contents were dry and in good order.
Thanks caughtatwork.
It took longer to wait out the abysmal lighting sequence for trail users than it did to grab this cheeky hide when I finally reached it.

Well.
This wasn't the day I'd planned, but family matters had turned the weekend on its head. Between sleeping in after the fun of caching in the dark until so late it was almost early, and staying at home to referee while the better half ran some errands, it wasn't until mid afternoon that I rolled out the gate.
Finally logging my first cache for the day after crossing the Whitten Bridge, I continued anticlockwise around the Ring Road, bagging 42 finds, and a handful of DNFs.
Thanks, C@W... today's haul has gone a long way toward my ambition of getting my GA logs over 10% of the GC total.

All was good though and unless stated, all caches were found in good condition.
As a side note, I'd forgotten what it like living in Melbourne and waiting for train to get through a crossing. Think we waited here for almost 10 minutes as we waited for two trains to roar through. No problems though, was a bit fun watching them zoom past and being so close.....
Thanks for this one C@W.....
Thank you caughtatwork for this series.
After negotiating the road and rail crossings I was ready for a short stop, to have a drink and wait for a break in the traffic so that I could search and retrieve this cache. Then another short wait until the traffic was moving again so I could re-hide the cache and continue my cycling.
Xmas in July points need to be scored.
I threw the bike in the car and parked in a supermarket car park close by.
This was nearly a drive by.
