Description
Edgewater [Edgewater Walk]
Edgewater was developed on the old Colonial Ammunition Factory site in Maribyrnong in 2001. A pleasant set of ponds has been created which allow boating and wildlife to abound (including snakes, so beware). This series of geocaches will take you on a walk around the ponds checking out the area and finding a few geocaches along the way.
The Edgewater sign is a sign that you are at Edgewater, near a sign. Alas the sign, like all things put up by developers is not being maintained and is starting to rust under the shiny surface. But you can still enjoy this area because there is a geocache here to find. You do not need to leave the path to get to this one and the location should be the most logical. You are looking for a 200ml Sistema container and there is a good hint if you need some assistance.

We are currently touring Victoria with our geovan in tow, using geocaching as a guide. We have visited many amazing locations through geocaching and your cache - Edgewater [Edgewater Walk] - was one we found along the way. Enjoyed this series of caches - the redevelopment of this area is beautiful. We were lucky enough to talk to a council worker who opened up Jack’s Magazine and gave us a peek inside and a history lesson of the site. Added bonus to finding the cache.
Many thanks Caughtatwork for publishing this cache for our enjoyment and adding to our geocaching experience. As always accurate co - ordinates led to a quick find. Cache and contents in excellent condition.
Tassie Trekkers are now a locationless geocache we have published a 'Geocacher cache' - Travelling Trekkers GA10932 - so if you spot us in your area sign our log book and receive a code word to earn yourself a We were one of the lucky teams to receive a pathtag from Geocaching Australia for publishing a "Geocacher Cache" - thanks Geocaching Australia.

After the fog had cleared this morning it was time to enjoy a nice sunny morning walk to grab the caches in the area. A quick find.
Thanks CAUGHTATWORK

Bored out of my gourd at home, I decided a decent walk was in order. Thankfully, the weather agreed, so I figured this new series of hides was a good incentive.
And so it was, a neat variety of hides, with not too many worries about muggles, and a fine late afternoon caching experience.
Thanks, C@W, for keeping me at least moderately fit and sane.

We do hope however that occasionally some innocent geocacher will read one of our missives and may even find something useful. We know that our work related treatises were never read, some questions may have been asked if they had been read. Our masters dutifully ticked off that the required documents had been handed in, accountability met so book closed.
Our latest treatises may be occasionally read and enjoyed by fellow caching tragics - or may be we are just kidding ourselves. We did however have fun reaching this goal. Of course, having reached this goal we feel duty bound to maintain our word average.
With our latest trip to the big island coming rapidly to an end we had a few loose ends to tie off - the ten caches making up the Edgewater Walk Series was one of these - apologies caught@work we really dont expect you to read them all.
We set off early this morning to find these. It was blowing a gale and walking into the wind was hard work. We could see that this would be a lovely area to walk on balmy evenings and cool summer mornings. Even with the unpleasant conditions there were plenty of dog walking muggles, running and riding muggles and a few power walking muggles using the tracks.
Accurate coordinates and excellent hints lead to quick finds of all the caches. These were well hidden but in your face as usual. All containers and contents were in excellent condition. We do love caught@work caches - rarely a micro or nano in sight.
Thanks caught@work for this cache and for this great little series
We dragged ourselves away and were soon walking towards the last couple in the series
Neat spot, thanks for including it as a GZ.
I saw these caches published but have been too busy to get out for a look. Today I finished all the important stuff early so headed out for a walk. Looking at the map, I was intrigued with the circular walk and I wasn't disappointed. It's a really nice place to spend time.
There were a few muggles around but I was able to sit and extract the cache without drawing attention. I signed the nice clean log book and moved on.
Thanks caughtatwork for this very nice series of caches. I would have never know about this nice little walk otherwise.
(I found the lot but I'll log the rest later tonight when I have time.)
