Parking is at S33° 45.128' E150° 38.603'.
Just follow the sealed track (It was used as a main road until the M4 opened) all the caches are a short and I do mean short distance off the main track.

While there do take time to check out the Knapsack Viaduct this started life as part of the Lapstone Zig Zag western train line and was then used as a main road after the Glenbrook deviation.
Please replace all camo rocks carefully as this place gets busy. All the caches are mostly out of sight from the main track but take care.

So onto number 3 and after looking at my osm maps on the gps decided it was not best to follow the lower track so I scramble back up and on approaching GZ, the only lone muggle comes ambling down the path. So there I was having to stand in the shade and have a really long slow drink while waiting for him to go by before I ducked back into the bushes. No issues finding this but the bugs were bad, at first I thought there was a wasps nest, not just lots of flying bugs.

I had a lovely spontaneous drive down to visit 2 of my daughters on the coast and surprise one of them for a birthday breakfast. In all honesty, it was really an excuse to get outdoors and play because I was getting pretty low and only had 2 midweek days off work. So I knew I was geocaching after breakfast but not where. Thought Mossvale or Goulburn, but in the end the temptation was too great. I'm taking the long way home and finding those cool bridge caches!
As the caches took me a little off the main track, I ended up wandering a bit and exploring the things in the area - old metal junk, graffiti, plants, rocks, creek beds, roadsides, AND EVEN TOILETS (GA9999 appears to also be the local bush toilet location). This meant that from the carpark to GA 10K and back I took much longer than I should... was it really nearly 5 hours?! It was lunch time when I went in thinking I'll eat after, and it was sunset when I came out. hahahaha. And my kids thought I had to hurry back home. No I was just hurrying off to geocache before going home. I got home before midnight at least. hahaha.
Thanks for this geocache series here rogerw3. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey. I did film the adventure, but I haven't been in a film editing mood lately so hopefully I'll get it done soon.
Now I feel justified to get the matching geocoin.

10K – 3 wow it was very busy here this morning, I figured I’d be smart & take the lower track – well this gave me grief – with dense tree cover it made finding this cache a challenge – after returning to the top & going from there it made it a little easier – don’t why but today it was very hard to get a fix on your caches – 1 down 3 to go - TFTC / TFTH / SL

Found It!
This one also took me longer to find than it should have. I blame to GPS - it kept changing it's mind about where I needed to be...

This was a quicker find than the last. But it was only here that I realized this is a series of caches, each with a hint, I’ll be coming back. Tftc
#GA2464 - 11:30; Day one of a caching mission in the Blue Mountains with Sol de lune. After an early start in Canberra, we collected a few of the newer caches along the highway before we reached the foot of the mountains and started the major part of the mission, to collect GCA caches to help us meet some dragonZone trophy requirements. We had a handful already when we reached the convenient parking area for this cache at the start of the 10K series trail. After collecting the cache near the carpark, we set off along the trail, which was on our 'must do' list for this visit. Stayed on the low road to get to GZ for this cache and had a much easier time once we got there with a quick find, sign and clue note. TFTC rogerw3

Up with LuckyL10n for a 2 day run around the Blue Mountains and this little series was our main objective today. Parked the car at the obvious spot and then started the walk along the trial.
Realised where we should be and took the neccessary steps to get to the requried level and once there the cache was soon in hand. Names in the log, clue noted and we were off to the next one.
Thanks again RogerW3......enjoying the walk and the location.

Usually when we are on bush tracks MrT does the scramble to caches. However today with his broken finger in traction I had a go first to see if i could locate them. This took longer than it should have but eventually found it. Signed log and collected clue. Return as found. TFTC
I figured if I'm to get into the GCA world then I might as well start with #10,000. Found this one first because I was halfway along the track before I realised I had to do the lead up ones first. Might not get to the final today because I've already walked 10k today and my body is sarting to feel it.
I accidentally took the pen from the cache. Will drop it in to the next cache which is probably -4 since I'm heading back to the car park.

Had a great outing today, tracking down rogerw3's 10K series of caches!
Found this one without problems.
All was well with the cache and there are still lots of swaps left for future finders.

Many thanks to rogerw3 for a great hide and a great series!

A magnificent winter's morning (that was not cold at all) allowed our merry little gang to have a pleasant walk along the trail collecting these precursors that would lead us to the final 10K cache. All in good order. Thanks rogerw3.
It was a beautiful day on which ziggiay, MrSmash, DingoMan007, HanorahTLG and signed undertook the quest to capture the 10,000th cache. But before that we needed to find the clues!
Quick find, I don't recall who found it but it was in our hands soon.

The geokids joined me for this one, as it was closer to the path where they were riding their bikes. TFTC
We continued our walk towards this cache. The sun was shining and there was a light breeze that made walking enjoyable. When we made our way to gz we were blown away by the scerenity of the area - just us, the filtered light through the leafy canopy, the tinkling of the bird song, the earthy smell of the damp soil and deep leaf litter and of course a nice big geocache well hidden nearby.
We collected the clue after we signed the log then replaced the container in its neat hide. Container and contents were in good condition
Thanks Rogerw3 for a memorably caching experience and one that is good for the soul.

After going back to my car for my walking pole headed back along the track stopped halfway between 10K-4 to find a GC cache then headed along to this cache. Got towards GZ realised I had to change levels again. Slowly worked my way to the correct level then had to work my way around till I spotted the hide. With that I soon had cache in hand. Signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache & the log are in good order. Thanks for the cache rogerw3. Then worked my way back to the track.

After an early visit to a friend in Nepean hospital it was then off to the parking at the end of Old Bathurst Road for a walk along the path to collect the 4 needed caches for info in order to get to GZ of the 5th and final cache of this series.
On a cooler overcast sort of day each cache was found in turn until arriving at the viaduct where the gathered numbers were entered for the fifth and final cache.

Met up with Team Merlin today to make a claim for the cache GA10000.
Just located 10K-1 and 10K-2
But needing 10K-3 and the remaining caches of the series before we had the information to make a claim of the final.
Once parked we headed towards GZ making a quick find signing the logbook.
Noting the needed information we replaced as found.

Being out at Kingswood for work today, we organised to meet up with JJCC this afternoon for a walk to the viaduct and hunt out the newly released GA10000. Parking at the designated spot it wasn't long before we were at GZ of 10K-3 after finding 10K-4. This was a nice quick find and after signing the log as 2TF we noted the needed information and replaced as found.
Thanks rogerw3 for this series and congratulations on cache 10K

After finding 10K-4 I headed up the old highway a little further, glad I brought a torch with me as the light is failing fast.
I duck off the path in the direction of the cache and pause to wonder how my team finished up (see log GCA9997: 10K-4)
After a quick search I come up trumps I have the cache, the log is signed, re-hidden and I am back on the path before I knew it.
It is getting dark now, why couldn't daylight savings have held on for one more day, I will go and scope out the area near where 10K-2 is and decide if I continue tonight or come back when it is light...
Thanks rogerw3 for the hide, thanks for the FTF
