Hi, this is Dirk from Germany. Has anyone discovery my TB Max? He traveled that fare, over 20000 miles So if anyone knows where he is ... Please let me know!
Only read the logs after we had got to the falls but very well worth it. Only rocks about.
Add me to the list. Caches near this sort of feature never seem to go well, however it is a spot worth going to regardless. It had rained all day before I got there and the waterfall was going real well.
Cheers and thanks anyway,

Unfortunately we would have to agree with the last few cachers - it seems that this cache has probably gone missing.
Like others, I found the place where the cache should be, but had no luck finding it.
With the full clues there was only one place it could be - and it wasn't. I wonder if it has been removed? The prrevious 2 visits also could not find it.
we searched for a long time, but couldn't find it, but what a beautiful
place it is !!

Another in our 'did not find' series of splendid caches. We 'didn't find' so many it became the trend for the weekend. The hiding spot was so obvious but we checked everywhere nearby too and not a sign of what we were looking for.
Wet really wet and extremely wet are the only words to describe the atmosphere for this one. Retrieved tb

#584: Walk to the Devil
We stopped by this one on our clockwise trip around the Northern part of the South Island. The whole family went out for a nice afternoon walk in the forest. Lots of steps, but even the three-year-old made it. He also made the actual find, and his face lit up as usual! Cache is in good shape, as are the falls.

It's been many years since I have walked here. The track has been much upgraded with a viewing platform that wasn't here last time. Thanks
Cool spot - literally! Loads of snow on the path today, but managed to find it. Unfortunately had nothing to put in. Stunning waterfall! TFTC!
I would only hope that I'd come up here regardless of there being a cache! It is such a treat! It was nice to see people from a range of lifestyles enjoying the area.
Nice cache at a beautiful location! Thanks to the hint we quickly found it.

Our previous trip through the Pass was a much less pleasant day. Although cool today, we had lovely blue sky so couldn't bypass the walkway again. A great walk in and noone at GZ when we arrived so no problem with the find. Thanks
Beautiful day and great walk up here. Sure has changed since we were last up here many years ago! Gps was useless (as expected) and we didn't have the clue so we thought like geocachers and lo and behold there it was....TFTC and the welcome break to stretch our legs.
A nice spot. I had to wait for the muggle traffic to clear before I could claim it.
A wonderful walk today, nice and overcast so we didn't get too hot. Lugged the little one in the backpack up all the steps, she's getting heavier the older she gets! Great view, second time up here - I don't remember such a good track 12 years ago. TNLN Thanks
A good work out. Enjoyed just being there watching he water fall. I was last here many years ago, when we were able to walk right up to the falls. TFTC.
M didn't have the hint which he really needed, not too mention all the muggles even though it was early evening. He enjoyed the 333 steps up and 333 steps back. LOL
Neat walk up here on lovely day, and good clue for easy find

What a lovely spot. The GPS was 80 meters off but thanks to the hint this was an easy find TFTC
In: Boromir TB (goodbye Boromir, thanks for keeping me company, but its time to depart...) I don't know, if the Hobbit movie will be shot here, but it could definitely be a spot for it.

Found this with the help of little boy - so thank you, your hint was great. Started the walk without my GPS or knowing that there was a cache at the end!!!
TFTC,
TFTC,
Did this cache early in the morning in the rain. Couldn't see the top of the waterfall, but it was still a very nice walk and an impressive waterfall. Found the cache fairly quickly.

For 30 years I have been passing this waterfall and never been in to see it up close. Today was the day. Replaced the wet log book by adding a new log book inside a plastic container. should suffice for a little while. Great spot. Also, replaced rocks in a way that doesn't channel the water onto the cache container (now containers) In TB
Found easily after the gps took a little while to settle. We did use the clue to get in and out quickly, though, as there were a surprising amount of muggles. Contents are completely saturated, and I didn't have anything to do any maintenance. I see there were others there before me today and a piece of paper has been added to enable cachers to log their find. Sat on the seats by the bridge at the start of the track and had the pleasure of being joined by a one-legged kea - what a treat!
Had an awesome drive back to Christchurch later in the evening.

Fantastic spot to come to, and a good leg stretcher to get there! Cache was saturated, so we added new piece of paper with dry plastic bag and put cache in another spare bag. Needs a new log though. TFTC!
Nice walk with interesting bush, also managed to spy some riflemen which we haven't seen before. TFTC
I found this one already some days ago, but I was unable to sign the logbook. It was just too wet. As I was only passing through the area, I was not able to replace the logbook or dry it properly. The owner allowed me to log the cache anyway. Thanks for that. It seems somebody else has taken some action in between and dried the cache. Good on you.
Anyway a lovely spot and nice waterfalls which can be watched from many different angles while taking the Scotts Creek Track towards Avalance Peak.

Great cache and waterfall. Heavy rain recently and everything (us included) was getting a good soaking. Well worth the visit and a good final Xmas Day cache.
Cache is completely soaked through and through. Needs a thorough drying, better water sealing if possible and a new log.
Was part of Wandering Dragons when I found this one. Now branching off to my own account.
Nice hike up on a clear day - only one in a week. #2 on the day. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Lots of people puffing up the hill to the falls so had to time my finding and then returning the cache. Worth the walk up. TFTC
The cache had water in it and is a soggy mouldy mess. Spectacular spot though and well worth the walk.
We found the Cache on our tour through New Zealand. After a nice, but difficult walk to the bushline we found the Cache. Thanks for hiding.
Found whilst in Arthurs pass on our round the world trip. TFTC Couldn't sign log as water logged. Looks like someone must have replaced it later that day.
GZ wanted to be a few meters away today but the hint made it easy. Cache was too wet to log the visit. I needs a serious dry out or replacement. TNLN TFTC
An impressive waterfall to visit, but oh all those steps! Unfortunately the cache container had a wet mushy logbook and other pieces of paper. TFTC
A nice waterfall, Thanks for taking me there.
Needs new log book as everything inside the container is wet.

Soggy and wet, needs new replacement. Not surprised given the environment... Wish we had taken some spare parts with us!
A fabulous walk with the junior geocachers. Falls as awesome as ever. This was our main objective for the day.
We had two devices to try and help with locating, but did not have the clue to help. We now know "almost" every nook and cranny under and around the viewing platform, but failed to come up with the prize.
We did however find two pairs of sunglasses; someones sunglass case along a few cents and a necklace (hidden under a rock); two lipsticks..... and some bugs.

Found on the way to ChCh. Was raining but still worth the walk. 6th for the day. found with gracie7. TFTC
Found this one with Ariestiger on the way to ChCh. Beautiful walk with an amazingly rewarding waterfall at the end. Something I would have never noticed until geocaching brought attention to it. It was raining but still worth it and the highlight of my caching trip to ChCh. Beacuse we read the previously log we wrote our names on a piece of paper with enough room for other cachers.TVeryMuchFTC [:d]
Needs a new logbook and maybe a new container as totally wet, see attched photo.
Always a great walk, this time we did the cache as not to many muggles around.
Unfortunately we had forgotten our first aid kit for caches, so we could not sign the logbook. The cache is totally wet and even the silica gel has given up.
We had planed to leave a TB here, but this was not possible.

We found this cache with Standa.Sefl during our holiday in New Zealand. New Zealand has very nice nature, thanks for all nice places. Greetings from Czech republic.
We spend great four weeks caching in NZ. NZ nature and the caches are amazing. Thanks for all the caches, the great adventure and greetings from Czech Republic.
It is quite a climb but well worth it on a lovely day. The view is splendid. Had trouble putting the cache back when a lot of muggles arrived. TFTC
The container is soaking wet inside, the complete logbook is wet

After Avalanche peak.
Really nice waterfalls.
Thanks.

This is a very well constructed walkway. Passed a fair few puffing billies along the way. Lovely walk and views. Thanks to the previous cacher who put in a dry paper to sign. TFTC #1117
Found on a glorious summer day at Arthurs Pass. Contents of cache very wet, dried out as best I could, TFTC
A wee hike up the hill, all right. Wonderful waterfall. Took a Penguin TB, signed the dry paper. Cache is soaking wet. TFTH!
Nice walk up the 321 steps. Found the cache and dropped off a GC and a TB from the uk.
Thanks for bringing us here. Wet log so left a dry sheet. SL. MTFTC salnrich xx

First time we went up to the falls we came without GPS and thought, well, there should be a cache up here. Went to the village and checked in the internet and , yep, there is a cache. Golden rule: check for caches before going uphill
So we did the nice walk up to the falls again and thus had some more excercise. The logbook is completely soaked now with no chance to dry it. Cache needs maintenance therefore.
Thx for bringing us here,

Easy find. Unfortunely I couldn't log in because logbook is completely wet, it needs to be replaced.

Beautiful area for a cache. Went to see the waterfall, but wanted to do some geocaching as well. Found it with a family group, but just replaced it as the notebook was mush. Finding it is most of the fun, so all good.
Found easy enough at a tremendous spot but as others have noted the logbook is mush so couldn't log a find.
The cache is very wet, all contents of box saturated. Left in place, but Moneydork might like to deal with this. Nice one for young children as easy find.
