Have decided that most have done this one, it would be unlikely to survive if I replaced it in the same format, so its open to others.
07:50 - Wow what a great hide, I would say hide of the day for me. Attended this with Gyln himself, BackPAQer ans Sis. If I had known how close it was to Phyllis's hide I would have grabbed this when I was last here. Thanks for the Cache Gyln.

Ya know...it's always tricky when the cache owner is watching you with his baby! But my sister (still to create geo-name) found it on her second cache of the day and my #2 of 44 for the day (a new PB). Lovely location and interesting info about the area. Wins best camo of the day award from me
Thanks Glyn!
Thanks Glyn!
Didn't find it (or rather we were protecting the cache by not finding it!) The muggles were out in force!
Despite all the warnings not to swim in the water it seemed a popular swimming pool.
Able to locate the cache with GPS whilst muggles distracted by the waterfall diving board, but didn't have time for a proper search.
Don't live nearby so not sure if I'll be able to come back for another search. Nice area though.

Best cache hide so far for me! Great walk and nice to get out of house from studying all day. Caching with PickleNZ, Roxbury and Vicki. TNLNSL
Very cute hiding place! Easy find - last for the day. Found with Roxbury, Vicki & Andi.

[Not a bad waterfall at all and very suprising in an urban environment. Mind you, I think it says more about the urban sprawl of Auckland than anything else. Nice to see.
Found lying on the ground, wasn't that sure how to replace it, ] up or down?[
Many thanks FTC.]

Found cache after going through the Tech. Had to wait for an old Gezza to leave before grabbing the prize.

A nice pleasant walk along the path to GZ. Once my gps is settled, I spotted the cache. Nice one.

Doh!! So should have found this the first time we visited. Anyway did the whole loop path for some exercise and enjoyed the find.
A nice easy find after Phyllis's Hide further up the trail.
Excellent cammo job! I spotted it straight away and confirmed it with a subtle tap of the foot, but only because I was looking for it. Otherwise no one would ever know it's there...
2 muggles were sitting on the cache when I got there so I had to hang around for a bit until they wandered off. Then as I was about to put it back I whole mugglamily came along on bikes and hung around for ages.

We never knew that there is a waterfall in Auckland so close to our home! We definitely have to come back and see it in daylight, because we searched for the cache in the dark (at least there weren't any muggles around). After arriving at GZ, Rala held the cache in her hands twice - without noticing it. Took us a while to finally "see" it. Very nice idea for hiding a cache, though! TFTC

I couldn't entice the younger members to go for a sail, so we came over to Mt Albert to visit the greater Candy Clan.
Grandma, Dads, Dog and a gaggle of overexcited cousins set off in search of nearby caches.
After several muggle evasions, and a number of cousins loudly declaring, "There's nothing there" it was left to JC to turn up the cache.
We were glad to find this one, especially as it is so well constructed, an excellent effort! Yet another spot I had never been to, and in my old back yard too!

11.20pm Our last for the night. Walked around a bit before we found the right path. Took a moment or two to find the hiding place. Well done. Falls looked good in the torch light. Had to rush as it was starting to rain. Thank you David & Noeline
The 2nd time I have been to find this one in 2 weeks. THe fist time was able to have a really good look but today there was muggles jumping off from the waterfall.
There were muggles swimming, jumping and diving in the water today. Despite their presence we still had a suttle look around, but still thorough. Not sure how heavily camoflaged it is, makes me think.
We've been here a few times before the cache was hidden, so came back dragging 2 Hopefuls, luckily we did as they found the cache. Nifty!

Very nice job with the cache. Loved the site - have been here several times with our dog (incidentally, if anyone finds a rubber kong toy in the waterfall area, do let us know)!

Visited the cache in the early afternoon, but the area was too busy to look. Came back at about 19:00 and the area was still busy, but I was able to sneak in a quick search and found the cache. Grabbed the log and filled it out before finding another brief moment to replace the log and return the cache.
#485. Pleasant walk along the stream and great camouflage. Had to wait for two old ladies to finish their picnic. TFTC
A very clever hide. We have sat here many times as muggles, and still enjoy views of Auckland’s only inner city waterfall.

1st find of the day.
I pass this cache twice a day to work and back and it has been bugging me that I haven't done it.
We headed off this morning for the hunt.
There were a group of muggles swimming below the 'WARNING - No Swimming' sign.
WOW. What fantastic camo.

Lots of people down below today but the three of us had GZ to ourselves. We were able to pick our moment when the locals were jumping from the top of the waterfall to make a stealthy retrieve. This has to be one of Glyn's best camo jobs! Many thanks.
On our first visit we were met by a group of wanabee Tazans. On our second visit we made sure they were back at school before attempting another search. One of the best camo jobs we have seen.
Thanks.

Stopped by but didn't get a chance to hunt as there were wet lunatic jumping muggles at GZ and I was in a rush to get back to Hamilton for the Chiefs game - shouldn't have bothered as they didn't impress!
2nd visit and prepared this time - found straight off - nice one! Kids swimming in the pool (not good) below never saw me.
TNLN, cheers!

Nice spot but over-run with jumping muggles. Returned later and all was well. Great Camo - It had me going for a while.

Found with BFR, was the final and 7th find for the afternoon.
A really nice hide, found on second pass and just before the showers reappeared. Really nice camo.
Found after finding Phyllis's Hide further along the walkway.

Nice little walk not too far from home. Missed it on the first pass due to the cunning camoflague.

Many aquatic muggles (including crazy canines) leaping from the waterfall into the murky depths below. The secret location was inspirational. There are certainly some 'crafty' geocachers around.
Another nice piece of camo and another nice hide from Glyn. Watched the ducks at the top of the waterfall while filling in the log - we were convinced one was going to slip but no, it didn't.

A short detour, well it would have been if we had approached from the recommended side, saw us arrive at GZ in a muggle free interval. Just one tentative poke with the magic stick and my suspicions were fully aroused. Further investigation revealed the cunning cache hide.
I had been here with the walking group just 3 weeks back and thought it justified a cache. A nice spot and you hardly know all that traffic is roaring past so close

Nice local cache, unfortunately I was away from town so couldn't even try to get the FTF. Such is life. A slow wander with the kids to the location. Found the hide (nicely done) signed the book and carried on after replacing and re camoing the ground. As we walked out, we met NEDD, initially identified by the large faced cell phone (you know, the GPS look alikes...)hanging around his neck. (Good to meet you NEDD) Thanks for a nice little wander but I need to cross that location off my hide list!!! TNLN

Finally met a fellow geocacher! Cheers, M2ZTC & co, enjoyed the chat. Unfortunately the yellow cellphone was very confused at the waterfall and without a listing printout (Doh!) came away with clean hands. Should've been prepared better for my first try at one of Glyn's sneaky hides. Cheers for the walk!
Yes! FTF at 0820.
What can I say, they just seem to continually get better from you Glyn. This one had me fooled for a few minutes.
The only downside, I seem to have come away covered in paint, so hope the camo doesn't wash off.
