Alas, after checking the cache this morning, it is indeed missing. There has been an amount of garden work near GZ so has likely been cleaned up. As the area is now quite exposed, I shan't be replacing the cache at this location.
I suspect this has been muggled. Went there today with geo wife. Could not find. We did find in the leaf litter a black pen, a Canadian $0.25 coin and a colored glass pebble thing.
Had a lot of running around to do today but promised Mrs that we would get a few caches if she came to work with me.
I took a wrong turn, and trying to get back to where i needed to be, we saw a cache 100m from us.
Although there was a funeral near by, we managed to sneak around the back out of sight to find this cache. (Hope we go to the right place for this!)
Cache was very exposed, but in good condition.

Nice cache, but no ghosts.
found at 6.05pm took nothing, left nothing. cache was rather uncovered, probably from wind. left it covered better, as i assume it originally was.
thanks!

Found at 1.30pm today. A real city of its own here.
It was quite busy here today, with lots of comings and goings, and took some timing to retrieve and rehide today. Cache was exposed on arrivial.
A quick rehide was made under the noise cover of a passing airliner.
TNLN.
Thanks C@W.

Seems to be a neat book end for a cache found a couple of days earlier. Quick find as I rushed to get out of town. Leaving on a jet plane.

Tnx caughtatwork for another remarkable cache.

Found at 18:10, 29/12/07. An amazing place, I've driven by so many times, but never been in.
Last week a small fire burnt a number of the smaller trees within a few metres of the cache, but luckily it survived unharmed.
Quite a creepy visit - a musical Christmas card attached to one of the nearby gravestones was playing "chime" music - very offputting in a place like this!
Left Eeyore, took Wiggles keyring.
Thanks for the great hide (and history lesson), caughtatwork!

09:17 Probably our last cache before our flight home. Amazing place never seen such elaborate resting places. May there all rest in peace. TNLN. Thanks for the cache.
Completed this one last night just on dusk and was a little spooky! There are many lights and candles around the place which flicker in the wind. I also swear that there was some music playing somewhere! Creepy! TFTC TNLN
These have to be the most elaborate graves I have ever seen! And yes it did feel like walking around a city. Many thanks
great find, felt kind of funny dressed in shorts and singlet, but a quick grad and got out
Yep...it's a city of its own.
Some of the headstones are massive!
More like small houses. One even had gates and a fence.
TB out for a trip.

I drive past this cemetery every day on my way home from work but did not realise how large it is. It really is beautifully laid out and maintained. I wonder if you added up the cost of all those magnificent memorials how many million dollars has been invested.
The very well stocked cache was an easy find and so we Took the TB and left nothing
Love your work caughtatwork

Just a quick jaunt down the road from Brimbank Park followed by a short walk though this very well maintained (and quite full) resting place and I was at GZ. While walking, I was beginning to fear that GZ was outside the fence but, as with most of the caches I did today, the coords were spot on and the cache was an easy find .
TNLN, but left a TB

We found our 49th Caughtatwork cache at 11:00am on our Sunbury and Beyond Tour III. This cache was on our to do list for a while but always ended up too far on the fringe of where we were caching for the day. Not today though as it was right on route and first on the list. One thing we had never seen before today at cemetaries is people carrying in squeegees as part of the cleaning kit and today there were at least five. Makes sense though with the amount of flat marble and polished stone here. Thankfully, no-one maintaning the back row and a quick find. Thanks for the cache from D & H B-A.
Found at 1850. A nice easy find with no muggles in sight. Did notice the squiggie bottles in between the headstones, no doubt the same ones used for cleaning mentioned by previous logs. Nice cemetery.

I arrived at the cemetery between downpours and what struck me as unusual, in my limited cemetery experience, was the number of families carrying out maintenance for the graves of loved ones. The car park was full and people of all ages were carrying buckets and sponges, it was really touching to see. Fortunately there was nobody down the back and I was able to log the cache without being disturbed. Good to see big caches can be found in Melbourne!

Found @ 16:20. The cemetry was very quiet today when I entered but very windy. Found quickly and filled in the log. Thanks. TNLNSL
We pulled up here on a very windy cold day and walked quickly to gz with the threat of showers about to happen. Fortunately the cache was found quickly n the first place we looked, we signed the log and got back to the car before a passing shower came through

It looks like I'm officially one of those "strange people wandering through the cemetery after dark" . On the way home from our monthly walk, this popped up on the radar. All looked OK for easy access and I was able walk straight up to the cache for an easy find at 19:50 without showing any disrespect to the "residents". I do agree that cemeteries at night are certainly eerie places.
TNLNSL. Thanks caughtatwork.

droped in on this one on the way home picked up the geo squid to move on to the next destination
An unusual cemetery in that it's laid out in very long rows - either a sign of forward planning and organisation, or just something out of the ordinary.

Found by Roma and Max.
We have driven by this venue many times and are always amazed at the size and types of monuments within.
Having a better reason than most visitors would have for entering the precincts we were even more impressed with what have seen here today.
We left a Mondo Figurine for the cache and took a Screwdriver for a memento.
Thanks C@W for this challenge.

An easy find tucked away there. These are not my favourite places but you do have to admire the belief values implicit in this one! TNLN thanks caughtatwork.

Saturday morning was peak hour here and we weren't game to try to grab it due to people close by. Had to come back past later though so we made the find at 1:45pm after the rain started and there was no one around.

Found while visiting family here just before midday. Stumbled upon a fellow cacher who left quickly. TNLN as far to busy today to hang about.
It was Good Friday, and the place was packed. I wondered how easy it would be to find the cache unnoticed, but luckily there was no-one in the immediate vicinity of GZ. Found the cache, logged and replaced it, and slipped back into the public areas without being seen. Thanks for the cache, and a little slice of history.
Found quite easy by firebug_2100 and little 8 year old jana whilest visiting past reletives.

Our first metro cache ever! Cool for the country cachers! GeoBro was with us as he lives not too far away. Parked the car and took the more 'scenic' route over the foot bridge. As we were heading in we saw the darkest cloud heading our way and sure enough several metres from GZ it came down very heavy! Lucky we nabbed a waterproof poncho from a previous cache over Euroa way . The rain eventually subsided and we were able to find the cache easy enough. Cache in good order and well stocked. TFTC. Cheers.

What an amazing cemetery: there are certainly some exotic mansions in the city of the departed! Took Euro-coin travel bug (which did not want to be left for dead), and left surfboard (which I confess has just journeyed some 500m from Knick Knack Rhyme Time). TFTC
Found at 12.50pm GAFF1. Aye curumba! Looks like a florist in this area is making millions! This is the epitomy of keeping up with the neighbours - people must be visiting these graves every day and placing fresh flowers in the elaborate urns. Thanks for showing us this cemetry C@W - tn/ln
Found by Mary & David at 1005. A liesurely start today. At our local Werribbee cemetery we are aware of how multiculturalism has changed its appearance over the years. This one shows the same evolution, with many examples of the 'bigger is better' attitude. The older parts of the cemetery show the pioneer grave architecture, with shamrocks, ivy, and a simplicity that reflects their lifestyle. TNLN, but dropped off TB 'EuroBuggie'. Our thanks to caughtatwork.

Had to duck out to the airport to pick up my sister in law so I grabbed this one on the way. Would and should have got Gab Gabs one over the road as well but wasn't to sure how much time I had so didn't manage that this trip. Found the well stocked cache without incident, didn't take anything but left a geocoin.

Seventh of sixteen finds in company with acts2youthgroup. I like cemetery caches, and I've been in a few cemeteries in my time. However, this is one of the strangest cemeteries I've been in. I didn't tour the place extensively, but it struck me as being a relatively new place. I didn't see any old graves there. Not only that, but there seemed to be an inordinate number of Italian graves there! We couldn't help marvelling about how much money had been expended here! We found the cache at 1215. There was some great stuff in the cache, but I didn't have anything equivalent to swap, so I made no exchange. Thanks to caughtatwork for the cache. Cheers, dak.
Eighth of nineteen cache finds for the day, I did this one in company with Dak. Dak had been to MtGambier and I had been to Canberra so it seems like along time between caches for us as a team so it was good to be out caching together once again. I love cemetery caches and this one was a great one, we noted a young man of only eighteen lay close to GZ. The cache was found at 12:15. The cache was in a very well thought out position and had plenty of swaps. Thanks Caught@work for the cache.

FTF by Pickupfamily Son and Dad at 9:55am. We missed the exit in the car and took our time finding the right spot in the cemetary, but we then found the cache quickly. the cache is so stuffed full of goodies that we only had room to place a screwdriver.
