If you eventually decide to repair it, let me know and, if it meets the guidelines, I'll unarchive it.

15-Sep-09
Spent 30 minutes searching. No luck. As it seems nobody has found this, I think it needs to be archived.

30-Jul-09
Add Troodles and I to the DNF list. Looked around various hint objects (none of which were overly close to GZ) with no luck.

30-Jul-09
Had a good long hunt but would say its definitely not there as others have said also. A shame but this needs archiving if its not going to be replaced.

26-Jul-09
We were also unable to locate this cache Sad

14-Jul-09
Is it time to review this cache?

12-May-09
No find again!!
Looked near rocks and tree and round and round but to no avail. Was a good opportunity to trash out as there was a bit of litter around.

Not giving up on this one.

15-Apr-09
couldnt find this one

10-Apr-09
I too had no luck today, might need replacing??

08-Feb-09
Was in Montville so decided to have a look despite the recent DNF logs. There's only one place it could be using hint and it's not there so recon it's gone. Well be back in August so hopefully it will be replaced by then.

04-Feb-09
Looked ,and looked and looked, now i see others have also not located said cache so I'd say it's not there?

31-Jan-09
Came one night and couldn't find it. Will try again another day in the daylight

09-Jan-09
No luck for us today - GPS all over the place with the weather but still couldn't find it even with the clues!

Oh well - we will just have to return another day for more fudge and for another search Big Grin

27-Dec-08
Went down to GZ whilst family shopping , only to find another family having a picnic on wooden platform. Tried to be discreet, but to many muggles began watching me.

Maybe next time.

12.30 - What a beautiful and peaceful spot TFTC

30-Nov-08
Had to have a second look for this one but we found it at 0846. Cache was a bitt damp but the logbook was dry. TFTC.

23-Nov-08
I found it people TFTC

Found the cache readily after scouting around the new site mentioned by the Olly's. Spotted a lovely brown treefrog in full view on a rock, but didn't look closely enough to identify it. Great little logbook, obviously the original!
Took heart tattoo and heart ornament.
Left Yowie hermit crab (marked WW).

After being missing for about a year this ones turned up again...
Easy find today, blind freddy could have found it.

We put the log in plastic bag with a stash note,it should stay dry.
And instead of being in open view we hid it next to the rocks under the tree, still next to the deck.
Same co-ords will put you close to gz

School holidays meant the town was crowded today but luckily we were able to search unmolested.
Cache as per previous log was very obvious. Sorry, the only plastic bag I had was too small but I did rap the box in dead palm leaves to make it less visible and replaced it in the tree branches.

PS.... Since I have had an email about it and have now read that there are so many DNF's... The cache is still there. If someone lives close by might be worth taking a trip to the cache with a zip lock bag and seal the container in that as the cache is wet. Also might be worth while hiding it in a better spot than I found and left it. The cache is just sitting in between some of the branches in the tree in plane view from the lake side.... As i found it there and had not read the cache logs I left it where I found it.

Found while staying at Montville. TNLN

27-Aug-08
Can confirm it has been muggled. I happened to be talking to a guy (muggle) whose knows some young children that found a magic box with an assortment of stuff. The spoils were divided and cache is gone.

Location described matches cache co-ords.

Recommend the cache owner or maintainer leaves a new one or reluctantly disables this cache. What a nice area to have a picnic.

No luck here today just a shipload of Cobblers pegs Sad

31-May-08
Yep, could not find it. Look at every tree and at the one where the GZ would be, I thought I would stop looking after the black joe blake appeared [:0]

15-May-08
Haven't done any geocaching in a while and just checked on the website to see how the cache was going today. Will have to go check out the health of the cache when I have time to see if the cache is still there... Sorry for those who couldn't find it...

04-May-08
Is this Cache still there? Looks like no one has found it since September last year. We couldn't see it anywhere Sad sure we were in the right spot. Kids had fun anyway.

20-Apr-08
11:29 the rain made this one for me couldn't perform a proper search. Next time I'm up here maybe

09-Apr-08
In Montville during the holidays.
Mum did the shops while we went searching for the cache.
Found two likely trees and the stage looked like it could be a good bet. But after digging and poking for a while had to call it 'not found'. Not to worry the kids enjoyed the playground and Mum enjoyed shopping in peace.

Failed to find ~ 18:00

While Miss burned off some energy in the near by playground before our drive back to Brisbane I gave this one a whirl. The GPSr seem to think I should be in the drink so that didn't work out so well. :/ The clue suggested where I should be looking but after ~20 minutes checking out a few candidates it was too dark and we called it quits on this one. Plenty of cobblers pegs to pick off before heading home though so it's not like I left empty handed. Smile

03-Oct-07
had a good look spent half an hour looking no muggles Sad

08-Sep-07
The muggles are a pain, one positioned themselves in the perfect spot to prevent getting to the cache. However with a bit of trickery, sitting around the cache, one person blocking the view, the other doing the work, we managed to get it and hide it again without too much trouble.

06-Sep-07
Muggle free on a damp day!

15-Aug-07
We enjoyed a good meal at a nearby cafe then followed the littlest freak down to the flying fox and then the vicinity of the cache. The gps at first insisted that we go for a swim, but given the lack of hiding spots there we quickly settled on a more obvious spot. The littlest one missed it on the first pass but it was quickly found by Ma Freak. No swaps made. TFTC. It was then onwards to the nearby playground.

20-Jul-07
After waiting an hour for a muggle to move away from on top of the cache it was thrid time lucky. Always pays to feel, listen and look rather than to only look.

Ahh, Montville, one of my favorite little town, curiously though, It seems to have few houses. The GPS was playing up a bit on thisone, initialy leading us to a cane toad !!, but after it settled we were more in the right area. It took about 30 minutes of searching to get this one, but we did.

Thanks, Jezzza Xtreme

Having a bit of trouble finding this one. Two attempts so far. Sad

01-Jul-07
Found with dizzyanne. Biggest challenge was finding somewhere to park on this busy Sunday afternoon. This would make a pretty spot for a wedding I would think. TFTC

01-Jul-07
Nice little spot to try and escape the tourists, although being a Sunday in the school holidays, there were plenty around here too. Luckily none came too close and we were able to nab this one. Great spot. Thanks Big Grin

Coords pushed me into the lake today? Searched but no potatoes!

20-Apr-07
The cobblers pegs (weeds) were hungry for a piece of Stigglepots pants and she came out a little worse for wear. Fortunately for me I was wearing my "work clothes" and couldn't partake in the search. Lovely to hear the frogs at night.

Number 982, Found in the dark of night with the company of Danielle of Everlasting. The park is a beauty and the frogs were certainly singing proudly. Thanks for showing me some more fantastic places in the Sunshine Coasts hinterland. Cheers The Nanks

Well here's a side of Montville I've never seen before. Much more relaxed and easy on the wallet that the rest of town [^]
At 7.00am on a Sunday morning I had the place to myself too (I even had a choice of car parking spots on the main street) Smile
The cache was very well concealed and I spent quite a bit of time searching nearby areas. But just like when you lose the car keys at home and keep searching the same spot over and over in the hope they magically appear, I did find the cache eventually Big Grin
TFTC and a new perspective on this tourist town [^]

Found the cache at 1.55pm. Wow lovely park and excellent area. Enjoyed walk around the park and shop. TNLNSL. Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.

18-Feb-07
After leaving the caravan park and parting ways with Mad Myers, The Nanks & Bruce and Lizzie we continued on our quest to find more caches on the return trip home before the likely chance of a downpour.

Find 14/21 today
TNLN

Found this cache just as the rain began to set in. We then decided on having lunch at the local pizza place but unfortunately it was closed. They make the best wood fire pizzas at the local pizza shop if you ever get a chance to find this cache its well worth a stop for lunch there.

We enjoyed finding this cache and especially enjoyed looking around the attractive town. Had a lovely morning tea overlooking the great views that abound. Thanks erf_au

08-Feb-07
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 3:05pm. This was a lovely walk down from the shops of Montville. The place was buzzing as usual. Do they use the platform for concerts? The cache seems safe and well. TNLNSL TFTC

Wow, my first ever attempt and find! Got mixed up with the GPS, but once I got close the instructions made it easy. Definately a good choice for a newb.
Marked the log but left the treasure. Kizzandra

Finally found this one after doing a couple of laps around the pond. I would like to say it was only to wait for a gap in the muggles, but unfortunately I was also wrestling with my GPS trying to get an accurate reading. In the end I came up trumps with the cache in hand. TNLN TFTC PS. My little geokid loved the nearby park, thanks.
