Logs
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Sorry folks, been away with work for a couple of months. Will check out the cache and replace if its not there.

Noop, not there (should have read the logs). Thought it should have been replaced by now? (since June 16).
I'd be inclined to agree with the last couple of seekers. I don't think it's there unfortunatly. Nice spot and worthy of a cache though. We need to come back for a few around Toolangi so I'd like to get this one at the same time.
Please!!
Please!!
As per Riddell's log this cache appears to be missing. This was the second missing lowmount cache in a row.
Well, nothing found!
Please check it and tell me I didn't try hard enough.
What can I say. Even with a clue, there was nothing there.
Sorry...

Wow, what a great cache location! Came here after grabbing a pizza from a local shop, and ate dinner with a fantastic view overlooking the city at dusk. The green grass was particularly nice.
After consuming the meal, a short stroll down the hill brought me to GZ, where the cache was quickly located. I retrieved the geocoin for a trip up north. Thanks lowmount for the fantastic cache!

Nabbed this one on our first visit to the Kinglake area and am glad you placed this cache otherwise we'd have missed the park completely.
Lovely park and worth walking around, although the haze prevented a view of Melbourne.
As we were walking away form the cache, a group of kids, one with a piece of paper and another with a GPS approached and we of course correctly identified them as cachers, but they were shy and weren't up for a chat.
Dropped the groovy geocoin.
Thanks for the cache Lowmount.

With AWG70 about to take off, there was just enough time to look for this one. With EuDes and SandZ in hot pursuit, we failed to make the turn and they were ahead of us. AS has been noted we arrived at GZ to a scene of chaos but the log gave reason and it was rehidden more carefully. There was another visitor that afternoon. We hope they left it as tidy. TNLNSL. ps: great view
Found at 12:10pm after checking out the fantastic view. After logging the find we decided to have lunch while trying to pinpoint landmarks in the distance.

With a little time to spare before the start of our walk nearby, we headed here for a quick find. Unfortunately, the 9:45 find was a little too quick as the container was on the ground with the lid off and the contents strewn around . Apparently, some kids had found the cache while pursuing a particular activity that kids do, making an entry (a pleasant one at least) in the logbook and taking some items. Maybe they simply didn't realise how to return a cache to its correct position but the fact remains that this one might need a rethink because if one group of kids found it, ...
We repacked the cache and LZZ(m) did an expert job of a rehide in the obvious possie. TNLNSL. Thanks lowmount, what sensational views from the car park .

Found today by Daunts, in the company of aspiring geocachers and geograndkids, who are always delighted with new finds. Beautiful day out, although just a bit too hazy in the late afternoon to make out all the city details.
T Pennyfarthing TB and postit notes
L purse and Pokemon card
Thanks - great spot for kids, with plenty of junior muggle activity at the time as well.

Kids were exploring the area and came across this box. We were a bit worried about what might have been in it, but saw the note about this cool group. We don't have a GPS but my Dad does so we have pinched it off him and joined this great initiative.
Off to Falls Creek on Tuesday and have downloaded some points to look for on the way.
Thanks Lowmount for introducing us to this fun way of exploring the world. The kids are seriously excited.

Despite an awesome sunny afternoon, there were 5 or 6 large clumps of snow still at the site - probably from the cold days we had mid-week....amazed to still find the snow there. Shows how cold this place is.....with friend + kids, had a minor snowball fight.

Find # 1694 and 15th of the day at 4:11pm. Accompanied by Feathertop on our weekly caching trip. It snowed here today and there were some big snow ball that still had not melted, we even threw some snow balls at each other. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Lowmount....
Oenze and I had snow fights on the way down to GZ and did not have much of a view due to fog. Anyway a wonderful green expanse. Thanks low mount.

9th and last cache for the day as Melbourne's lights came alive (unfortunately no lights on at the MCG). Nice stroll to GZ and a easy find by Facitman (s-facit needs a few more inches for these caches ).
TNLN (Sorry left the swap bag in the car )
Thanks lowmount for the view

Found 200707011732 . If Facitman, s-Facit and I had got to GZ a bit earlier the lit MCG would have been shining like a beacon . As it was, we settled for a nice easy find of the cache

On a visit to the parents in the bush C@W and myself decided to try this cache and admire the views...... If you call views anything within 10m that is.... Foggy / misty day, GZ was in the mist over there somewhere and the carpark and car was, was, was... mmmmm lucky for the GPS. Quick find on a cold and misty day. Nothing that could be called a view was sighted, although we did manage to scare a kangaroo on the way to GZ from the carpark as we emerged from the mist.
Thanks for dragging this sometimes couch potato to another potentially nice spot.

I can't see the MCG. I can't even see the fence. I was lucky to find the trees.
The mist was so bad I couldn't even see the car in the carpark.
A nice easy find (as Uncle Jiffy spotted it and called me over).
Took chalk, left yoyo and dropped off a geocoin for its first stop.
Thanks lowmount. I'm sure the view is good, I just couldn't see it.

Out for a days caching with a few friends this was our meeting and starting point to do a few around Kinglake. A nice easy start found easily. I didn't have anything of equal or better value so I left the $10 note in the cache . TFTC
Rally had picked me up from home and we met up with Rubik at this cache for a days caching around the Kinglake area. The view was a bit obscured this morning due to the fog and rain. The cache was found at 10:20. Thanks lowmount for the cache.
I met up with Rally and Acts2YG at this cache after they saw me pass them coming the other way. That was rather fortunate as we couldn't get a lot of phone reception out here. The cache was found after a walk through a very beautiful location. Like Eric said the views were somewhat obscured, but the area was more than sufficient.
Thanks,

Arrived at the pleasant car park and lookout area today around 4 pm but the fog had taken over and couldnt see a thing.Found the well hidden cache.thanks to lowmount.TNLN.
A great view and yes, I could see the MCG, amongst a number of other things through the binoculars. A nice park and walk to the easy find this cool morning. Thanks lowmount for putting a cache here.
Found by Mary & David at 1520. Wonderful views to the horizon. Some inquisitive local horses came over to greet us. If we'd known, we'd have brought some carrots. Also admired some great examples of blackwoods along the way. TNLN. Our thanks again to lowmount.
Found 16:15, we were lucky to stumble upon this one as the batteries in the GPS died as soon as the unit was removed from the car mount [B)] so we had to have a bit of a guess at distance and bearing, along with a peek at the clue a great location, the views where however partially obscured today.
TNLN, CSI=3, thanks lowmount.

Found by Roma and Max.
Although not easily found this park is well kept and does offer an excellent view over the metropolis.
However today the low cloud did make it difficult to pick out the landmarks.
We enjoyed the walk to GZ but was less enthusiastic about the return journey, short though it was!
We left one of our usual Mondo Figurines for the cache and took a $10 Key Tag to remember it by.
Thanks Lowmount for the cache.

Found the cache easy enough then the fun started. Up races 2 muggle dogs and then the owner followed. The cache was taken for a walk back to the car and after they had left it was replaced. I'm suprised this park didn't have a cache yet as it's such a good view. Have been there many times before.

A find of five Firsts:
- First to find by Pickupfamily 1640hrs;
- lowmount's First cache hide;
- First day of the ...
- First month of 2007;
- Pickupfamily's First find of the year
Pickupfamily Dad was out scouting for cache hiding locations when Pickupfamily Mum called saying this cache was out. She had to relay the co-ords and instructions as I didn't have my normal phone with me to look up myself. So I headed for the hills and found the pretty park which I had never seen before, indeed a worthy place to be highlighted. I could just make out the city skyline in the smog but couldn't make out the MCG with the naked eye.
Then a short walk down to GZ where a quick find was made in an obvious but well-hidden spot. Found and signed the empty log book, wishing everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR. TNLN.
Thanks and congratulations to lowmount on their first cache. I wonder if you watched the fireworks from here last night?
