TFTC Awesome Cache , the tin has protected it from bush fires in the area. Still in perfect shape. Left some geokids treasures behind.
On our way home, taking some back roads to pick up some out of the way caches, with axell33 after our maintenance run. We needed the hint for this find as we enjoyed the sun rising! This one would have been tricky in the dark with its uneven terrain. Spotted it as I looked back from where we were searching. Thanks for the hide here Mackerals.
Starting our return leg of our early morning maintenance run. We finally got to search for a cache with a bit of light as the sun has finally come up. We enjoy the short walk to gz and after a short search Leega spotted the cache. We added our names to your log and returned your cache back to where it was found. TFTC Mackerals.
Hitting the road for IGD2023 in Jurien Bay. Looking forward to a great weekend! I’ve only been to Jurien Bay once in my life, and that was for a lunch stop on the way to Geraldton, so it will be good to spend some time in town. Naturally the drive up and back were caching missions in their own right, with the objective to clean up the new placements. Plenty of new and old caches in town too, that I am yet to have touched up in my last trip. This cache was one of this weekend’s many stops. Cheers mackerals!
Heading to Jurien to place some caches for IGD. This was a stop on the way through.
Many thanks mackerals for placing this hide for me to find and adding to my adventures. This will be my 6606 find.

On our way to the Pinnacles with Snickersallan from Qld, we took the signposted road to them. Along the way we stopped for this cache. Very interesting place and also found the cache. Read all about the wind farm here.

On an overnight trip with geo friends to Geraldton for some sightseeing and picking up a few caches along the route.
Lovely stop to find this cache and read all the information boards which were very interesting.
Thank you, Mackerals, for placing this cache for our benefit and enjoyment

Never realised there were so many wind turbines in this area. Amazing sight and also the acres of solar panels now. Lots of power generated. Cache was a nice easy find after a short walk in the bush, which took a bit longer as I stopped to admire the wildflowers. The area has been burnt recently, but the regrowth is coming along nicely. Lucky the cache was metal, as it was scorched with plastic inside a bit melted, but everything else in good condition. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Found it. TFTC Mackerals. Quick find here today. replaced as found. Area has been burnt out most contents survived but scorched.
This is my 1777 find.
Thank you mackerals for placing and maintaining this cache.
Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!
(I’m not a geologist I just like puns)
A big target for the drive home today was to stop by here and fill another Jasmer spot.
We were a bit nervous with steady rain falling most of the way from Gero, but luckily that eased and cleared as we turned off the Brand Hwy.
Once we parked up at the lookout parking area the kids took the lead taking us all the way to GZ where the cache was located quickly.
Glad to see this cache still going strong after 15 1/2 years.

Final day of our trip north and we enjoyed a slower morning packing up the car before clearing up a couple of caches around Geraldton.
Made our way down through Dandaragan and New Norcia hiding and finding along the way.
Arrived home to a lovely roast pork dinner with three very tired geo-kids to go with 6 finds, 8 adventure labs and 0 DNF’s.

Thanks mackerals for placing Emu Downs for me and others to find.
I added my name to the log at 13:39 on 11/4/2022.

On my birthday weekend we decided to geocaching and adventure very unplanned way. We spined the bottle and drove about an hour to the direction it points and do geocaching. Just one quick find on our way to Cervantes. Tftc!

Loved reading the information boards & finding the cache off course. Left a pathtag & a TB. TFTC Mackerals
A very generous hint considering the size. Found easily. I didn’t know there was also a solar farm in the area.
Stopped for a quick leg stretch on the way home from Leeman. Interesting location! Tftc
Stifling hot and the flies a nightmare - however a quick find. This place needs a serious cleanup - so much litter, the bins are over flowing and rubbish strewn everywhere. Thanks Mackerals
Great information boards about the wind and solar farms here. Cache was found safe and dry. TFTC
These are quite an amazing site. Glad to see the wind is being put to good use here. Found the cache after a bit of a trek and reading the hint. TFTH!
We left Geelong Vic in January and went up the centre to Darwin and across to WA, we will be home by Christmas
WA is simply stunning
We are travelling to cerventes and the scenery, towns are just beautiful
A nice wind farm that they are currently doing more work to enlarge in the surrounding areas. A nice big ammo ton here.
The two caches on this road have always managed to elude me either on the way up as we chased numbers via Indian Ocean drive or on the way back as we got into run for home mode. Today we managed to clean them up at some cool locations.
Thanks for the hide

On a 4 day drive to the warmer weather, stopping in at Kalbarri, Denham, monkey Mia, Carnarvon and Gascoyne junction.
Hoping for 2 LGA’s that we’re missed on the last trip this way and to clean up the map.
Travelling with the usual suspect Barnzy12
mackerals We found your cache Emu Downs thanks for placing this cache for myself and others to find.

Muggles once a month weekend off so we are taking Bruce up to Moora for a few days, grabbing a few caches, doing some family tree stuff and some sightseeing. Should be good
Followed the gps as far as I could along the fence line then found a easy way in that didn't really require bush bashing. Gps led me straight to the cache.

Oh well another day that I'm out here to look again. There's a number of "low level grasd trees" so may require significant searching.
Headed off early this morning, trying to beat the early peak hour madness on the Kwinana Freeway. Who would have thought that it would be bumper to bumper, stop/start, all the way from south of Anketell right through Cockburn Central to Berrigan Drive at 6.15 in the morning? Crazy! Lots us people must be wetting their beds or something, lol.
Anyway, the plan was to pick up Eliktrisiti in Malaga and head northwards for a bit of a roadtrip. A little backtracking had to be done to pick up a recently solved ~Tango~ puzzle, then it was time to hit the road. Went up the Brand Highway for a change, zigzagging backwards and forwards as we continued northwards to Dongara and then Greenough to where we were staying. Grand adventure it was too.
This was one that we stopped for early in the day. Found this good sized cache without any problems, signed the log, replaced the cache and were soon on our way again. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Mackerals

On our way to Geralton with Mistraluna (who was the first to the hide as well), to have couple of days full of caching and good weather and fun. TFTC
Found. TFTC - a bit surprised that I don't see a reference to the wind farm in your description. it was a bit of a bush bash to get to the cache. Great to find an ammo can - SL TFTC mackerals
A great cache to break up the trip and stretch the legs. Enjoyed this find. Easy scrub to walk through tftc
Quick find of the cache. Flowers looking nice too. Cache in good shape. Thanks for the cache Mackerals.
We travelled from Maryborough QLD to WA via NSW, VIC, SA and the Nullarbor towing our home on wheels. Now we are wandering around looking for wildflowers and doing some geocaching along the way. We are staying in Dandaragan for a few days and doing day trips - today was the Pinnacles and Cervantes. Thanks to the COs for these hides.
Found while working at the wind farm with Geoot. Picked up NWahab to continue her journey. TFTC
Tftc, took a bit as reception really jumpy, but clue helped, just a matter of elimination. Left trackable
Oh goody !!
Me fan club had already assembled up on the hill to watch me find this cache
C'mon guys ... I can see that three of you are not getting into the spirit of generating some caching electricity
A short and scratchy stroll later and a humungous container was found

A short detour on the way home to Geraldton. I don't like leaving the car unattended after my last geocaching experience in Mullewa, but everything went well this time. Took Shrek for my daughter Tftc

Left at 3.30am from Perth to go to Geraldton for a few days, and stopped along the way to pick up some caches. Most caches were found quite quickly with a few tricky ones that took a bit of searching. Managed to find 45 on the way with only 1 DNF which I think might be missing .Looking forward to finding more tomorrow TFTC
On the way back from a couple of nights in Jurien Bay this long weekend we decided to visit a couple of caches along the way.
Been wanting to visit this one for a while now and very glad to cross it off the list. Spotted the windmills from the Ocean road a couple of years ago its a much more impressive sight up close. Thanks for bring me here.
Took a few minutes to locate the cache but got there in the end in spite of the friendly flies in the area.
mackerals I found your cache at 10:51am, this was the 1st of 2 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 2312. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

On a drive out to the wind farm. these things are massive. Great place for a cache.
Was really keen to do this one as I drove up especially to work at windfarm. Nice quiet (but windy) spot. Looked for cache, got prickles in hand searching shrubs, was worried about early sept snake action, flies!, and gps was about 5m out. Anyhow still enjoyed it. Tftc
Very cold wind but beautiful bush. Wind farm was going off!

A nice quick find here and a place that we would never have known about but for caching picked up a lonely TB too
The jinta mob decided to head north to Geraldton for the third time to celebrate International Geocaching Day! We grabbed a variety of caches along the way and this was one of them. A great weekend away and we can't wait until next year.

On our travels around Australia doing a few caches on the way. Thanks for the cache.
10:32:00 AM. Heading for the coast once again now the cyclone threat has gone. Nice driveby. Signed log. Of course we took the hard way in and found an easy track out. Love the way WA is using wind power. Thanks mackerals for placing this cache.
As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache.
The wind generators were amazing but the large ammo tin at GZ was equally impressive.
Thanks for being part of our great adventure.

[Teal] As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache. Dad did most of the hard work here and the detail of our find can be found in the Rats log. Sorry for the duplicate log but it takes nothing away from the find.
Thanks for showing us this spot on our trip.

Stopped to look at the wind farm and grab this cache. Hubby wandered around a bit before spying the cache, we left TB, there is lots of nice green grass for the horse to eat until someone else grabs him and moves him on. TFTC
After working on the IT side of this project, it was a long overdue trip to the wind farm. TFTC
