Spent 30 minutes looking along this log because it was a nice day. Log very rotten so we pretty much pulled the whole thing a part and still didn't find it. I would say this one is gone for sure.
Another good standard cache from Bitsprayer. Keep up the good work.
The junction of the Hawea River with the Clutha is interesting - the river seems quite steep and fast at this point. I think I may have parked in the wrong place, but the cache was found quickly enough before any wrathful locals emerged.
Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(2010)

TFTC! Went out with my dad while visiting, we had a good chuckle when we finally found it, had already checked the area for it twice. Nice hidey hole!
Found together with SuBee after an excursion upriver. Really atmospheric in the chill amongst the fallen leaves - a great cache
First cache we found with the new GPS 62C. The trusty old yellow etex packed it only an hour ago and we had no choice but to buy the GPS that HamilsHunting and Fishing had for sale in Wanaka; very pleased it was a good model but there was no chance to shop around or compare features.

Nice little multi, decided it was just the right spot to leave our Lucky GC for it's launch into the world. (Thanks JemNZ for grabbing before we were able to log!)
Got a little anxious about the Bs and Cs but all was well and the cache swiftly found. That's a very fierce combination of river flows. Some-one had set up a camp nearby on the riverbed. Hopefully too spaced out to notice our lurking about.
River levels very high today. The path was under water in places.
Then we discovered on the way back that there are other tracks available to avoid the river.
Nice wee multi in a stunning part of the country.

Got all dressed up in my biking gear, thinking that a bigger track started here. Never mind - find this one anyway! TNLN, Thanks.
FOund it with zoomzoom. Great find, however as the river was high we had to wade through water up to our knees to get to the log!
Decoded the clues and our 10 year old found this one. 7:05 pm. Quite a bit of flooding at the junction of the Cardrona and Clutha rivers. Had to wade through water if we stuck to the track (which we did). TFTC.
1015hrs Nice walk to cache along the river. The Italian Job was here......! Our blog www.motorhominginxs.blogspot.com
Another nice wee cache along the River Track, I must come back and ride the whole thing. Cheers.
A nice simple little multi, well worth the effort. Nice one to do it you have 10 minutes spare and even quicker on the bikes. We saw a whole lot of ducklings swimming in the river nearby so took a photo Thanks for taking us here. Another one of those places that we probably wouldn't have visited if it wasn't for a cache being placed there. Thanks bitsprayer.
Found while on a trip from Australia to Queenstown for a work conference with my mate Marshy (Blacklegend17) who came along for the ride. One of 220 finds for the 8 days we were on the South Island. Another night time find and one of only a few multis we did. TFTC.
Part way through our New Zealand South Island Geocaching adventure. With my good mate and caching buddy, Marty (quasar3671). Our entire track was from Christchurch to Queenstown then on to Dunedin and finally back to Christchurch. 220 Caches in all in 7 nights/8 days.
We didn't do too many multi's on this trip, but we did do this one. Quick solve from the car window and a nice night walk to GZ. Cheers.

First find of the day. Nice walk on a brisk morning.
Dropped a trackable in here.

Found on a nice Autumn day. The river was very full and almost inviting. Watch out for the bugs when looking for this one!!
Did this one with Tramper Ted - we thoroughly enjoyed the short walk and the scenery, thanks for bringing us here.
Here with Edvern and out for a few caches before dinner. Great history and loved the poplars. TFTC
We worked the numbers and went to find the cache. Enjoyed breakfast on the nearby table and watched the sunrise before continuing our caching day. Very nice spot, TFTC.
Found a nice shady spot to park and then quickly gathered the details bfore resting on the nearby shady seat whilst I did the maths. I suspect one of my digits was wrong as I found the cache about 25m from my GZ.than ks to the excellent hint. Thanks Bitsprayer.
Nice spot. Was difficult to read the questions on the GPS. We had wished we had looked at this on the computer at home first but after figuring that it would not be in the middle of the river and having another look at the letters we had it sussed. The apples on the tree near by were a bonus. Thank you for the cache.
Found while exploring the cycle trails in this area (by vehicle) for a future ride. Checked out the new bridge on the Hawea trail and found a combined school activity in progress just down the river. The Paddles Up event had about five schools competing down a kayak skills and slalom course. Great fun and a great day for doing it.
Eventually sorted out the cache, along with wild peach and apple trees, so did a bit of harvesting on those. Thanks Bitsprayer - a good bit of history here and a neat hide.

A bit on this day, one of the swap's was one we believed we had placed in the cache in south otago, can't remember exactly which one.
Nice little multicache, already visited by some of our friends Great day and nice spot. TFTC

Had a bit of a long walk for this one as two of the numbers accidentally got transposed when putting in the GPS! But it was a lovely day and a great setting. Once we realised our mistake the cache was found easily.
had to do this twice think i punched the coords in wrong the first time around, but what an awesome location and great multi, TFTC
This is the sort of caches where you get some local information and we love it. Nice stroll along the river. TFTC
Got our friends new to geocaching to work out the co-ordinates! Left hacky sack and took toy hairbrush.
Nice walk...saw clutha jet doing 360s. would have been great photo opportunity. Cool hide and great clues
This is a real nice spot. Quick find TFTC
Took the little game boy left a Yoyo.
Droped off the TB Koru.

Found by McAdies on our holiday around the South Island.
Found this one and saw a jet boat as well speeding past doing tricks.

Relatively simple once I'd entered the co-ords correctly - I was fairly sure 1.85km didn't count as a 5 minute walk!
One of only a handful of multi's that I planned for this trip due to time constraints. Easily worked out if you are careful and a nice stroll to a good hide (not ïn the bushes"lol) thanks Bitsprayer.
We camped on the campsite just over the river. Nice spot, but the water is freezing cold . So after a swim we didn't have the energy to get to this one. So the next morning this was the first thing to do. Very quiet and an easy find. TFTC!

nice and easy multi... note to self - using the gps helps you to find the right place (searched in the wrong 'obvious spot' for AGES!) think i found it sometime around then, amidst the broken-legged holiday days that all blend into one... tftc!
Nice easy multi with some history. River was high and swift. Surprised to see wee kids and their Dad swimming in it???. Dropped of GB TB and PU Geocoin. TFTC

Easy little walk from Wanaka and a nice little stroll through the trees to get the cache.
Don't like putting my hands anywhere near spiderwebs though.

Quiet spot by the river, pity about the rain, but still lovely place to watch the river flow by.

We enjoyed this cache very much, especially the area that it was in. Thanks for the history lesson and the beautiful walk. Found the cache without too much trouble.
Another late entry. Been busy!!! Nice easy walk. Angel (dog) loves it when I go on a search.
Found at 1:56pm.
We had some time after visiting Puzzleworld before heading back to our motel, so we did this one. Easy multi with a quick find. Son came with me as the weather is still cold but clear skies. Loved the views of the mountains with snow covering the higher faces as we walked to the Cache.

Clever use of the history, and nice hide. If you walk a bit further to the Cardrona River, you can walk up the side of the spream and follow a walkway back to Albert Town.
Nice easy Multi, missed this one when doing others in this area earlier in the year.

This was a super fast find for us as we still had a long drive ahead of us. Another stunning area displaying its autumn colours.

Ended up on the wrong side of the river. Once on the other side it was a nice walk. Location a bit hard to find until I saw something out of place.
