We spent some time here searching on both sides & scrambling around. Couldnt find any white rocks to give us a clue. Seems to be a couple of recent finds here, so no idea what we were doing wrong.
Found that Cache on the way from Wanaka to the Westcoast. Good time for a Geocaching Break.
Although the weather was not in our favor today️️we still found several caches in nice places.Greetings from the Czech Republic and Thanks For This Cache.

On a geocache adventuring in the area and swung by here...cant resist a waterfall! Awesome house across the lake by itself, not visible from the main road. How peaceful!
Neat spot for a cache - luckily water levels were low so didn't need my hiking boots. Tftc
What was meant to be one night at kidds bush turned into 3...what a great place..
Heading out this morning to tramp into Cameron's hut for a couple of nights ..not before stopping for this in the way past ....quick find tftc

We had a DNF here in June 2020 so today we came back for another look as we read the log which said someone found it recently. This time we read the description better and I managed to spy a possible/probable site from the other side of the stream and M did the monkey work. Excellent place and cache and another favourite point. Nearby we saw a ewe with twin lambs both feeding with their tails wagging "fit to bust".
I’m so glad we made the decision to visit the 3 caches down this private little wonderland. We’d had some rain in the early hours but the weather had settled and turned into a balmy autumn afternoon. A short walk on the edge of crystal clear water jarred with the cow pats that I had to step around. I nearly didn’t see the cache until I turned around to look back at what Merlot had spotted. This old cache is in amazing order!
We drove along here to check out the DOC camp after finding the nearby geotour cache, and on the way back we stopped to have a look for this one. Mrs nzk went exploring and was able to get along the edge of the stream almost to GZ without getting wet feet, but when she realised the cache was up there, decided not to risk her camera / phone / gps / body by going further, and took some pics of the waterfall instead. Thanks for the placement in a lovely area.
After the heavy rain last night we thought we might get wet feet getting this one but managed to sneak along the edge. Pazza climbed up and had no trouble finding the cache
I saw the dust flying out behind a vehicle heading along here on my way up to The Neck so on my way back I decided to detour off and head over here for a look see. I was surprised to see a DoC vehicle parked up and another couple of vehicles went over the bridge while I was here. GPS lead me to the other side first and after checking a couple of places I thought I should check over here. I always love finding these older caches - they always take you to quite special places. We're hunting Tour caches and anything that's not slowing down our objective to much. After setting up camp at Kidds Bush Reserve we plan to explore as far South as Wanaka. These falls must be spectacular after rain. The creek runs at a trickle today though and the lake is low. So no wet feet needed but it was a blessing at 29C. Thank you Bitsprayer
We are camped at Kidds Bush Reserve for a couple of nights so once we had set up camp we headed off out to find some caches. As we were about to leave the car another chap pulled up and marched straight upstream so that left us to find the cache muggle free.
Thank you Bitsprayer.

On a return trip up to Central from Invercargill (the alternate way, a change for TD) testing the newly acquired van with great company and plenty of chats. A bit of a run up further north today to show TD the sights as she hadn't ever ventured above Wanaka. A little diversion off the main road to this wee cache. It was a bit of a hunt up, down, and around. Hmmm have a think.. check the description again. Up 2.5-3m, so scanned that area. I see a white stone! Directed TD to the spot, she the daring climber not me! Yay it was there! Great wee hide and lovely spot too, thanks for bringing us here.. a fave for the adventure tftc
Cache 405 What a stunning mini waterfall here We stopped and went down to GZ Closest phone got me was 2m so searched the area well, no cache Hmmmm so we climbed up from the top to see if it was up there hmmmm not their either back down to GZ to double check..... Wombats_4 saw a possible hiding spot over the stream. So I threw off my shoes and socks and tackled the freezing cold waters (and no my brain didn’t think go back and cross the bridge ) so I scaled a few rocks over there and held onto the tree with Wombats directing me to where she thought the cache might be hiding and she was bang on WAHOO! I wouldn’t have seen it. So we signed the log and I added a Rock bug to the cache before putting it back in its hide. Then yes again I crossed the freezing water before heading back to the van. Guess I left my brain behind today lol coordinates were 30m out from GZ for me according to my phone. T4TC
Easy about looking for this as thought was a lot higher and I have no nerves!!
Climbed up and nothing. Then saw it coming down again. Nice waterfall with best view from the road.

What a great place with a wonderful waterfall. We looked and looked but could find nothing that matched the hint and the previous logs. We were determined to find it and kept standing back to look and go back to look again. But we could not find anything. So frustrating.
Nice waterfall, nice hide, nice little climb for our wee cacher. Both container and logbook are in good condition. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache. Merry Christmas.
KrystalKath and I are returning to Makarora after staying at Cardrona pub. There's been more rain and new snow on Sentinel peak and we're looking out to see the mighty waterfall in The Neck creek from the other side of the lake.
KK said she'd like a closer look so here we are.
Of course I know there's a geocache here. Parking by the bridge we don our gumboots and have a closer look.
Initially I lost the gps location due to the steep cliffs so it was back to the bridge to reset and the second incursion was more successful. Fortunately I didn't have to take on the briar rose just beyond the cache. That's a handy tree! I guess that's why it's only a T2. Signed log, admired the waterfall and chatted to the calves. All good here TFTC

What a wonderful place! We weren’t sure if we were at the right height or level. But as we went closer to the waterfall we found this one quickly. Cache is in good condition. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache. fp from us for this hidden gem.
Found with Ivetacek.
Nice weather (no such rain).
Nice waterfall, we would miss it.

Thanks for the cache.
While visiting Wanaka, we have taken some time out from the usual tourist things to find a few geocaches in the area. We have been having a great time exploring the area and partaking of some of the activities available.
Thank you Bitsprayer for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Spectacular view across the lake, and great little waterfall. Lots of fun to find!

*Day 11 of our amazing trip*
On our way from the DOC campsite towards the starting point of the Isthmus Peak track, blumen-wiese and I stopped at this nice location to look for the cache. Thanks to the accurate description we could find it rather easily.
Thanks for the cache and greetings from Austria.

Day eleven of our wonderful New Zealand trip Oztriaco and I started at the near campesite. So before we made our way to Ismuth peak we stopped for this cache. we were lucky there were no cows on the way. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Austria.
26th of the great antipodean pre-wedding adventure.
This is likely to be our favorite cache of the trip.
We were driving back from the Blue Pools: a pretty rainy, pretty not-very-blue time, but that's fine, still very pretty.
We saw this cache come up but we didn't have any details in our phone except the title and no connectivity. Even saved maps wasn't show up for the immediate area. So it was pretty blind all the way from Route 6 to GZ.
We were totally pleased when we found it, loved the waterfall, and enjoyed driving through the sheep.
Great cache. Thanks!

Today I left the DOC Boundary Creek campsite for Lake Hawea and after parking up my snail shell I backtracked to locate and sign off a few caches.
What a hidden little gem this waterfall is.
Cheers for the cache.

Got it! On a NZ road trip from Maine, USA. Thanks for the cache. This one is dedicated to Harambe. May his spirit guide us to the next cache.
Beautiful spot! Hi from Portland, Maine, USA. Found with my team Rewa. TFTC!
Thank you for bring us here. We’re on our way to Kidd’s reserve. Caching ensures you reach the best places.
A beautiful little spot that I wouldn't have seen if it wasn't for the cache. Thanks.
today i traveled from haast to wanaka and found some caches on the way. this spot here was very nice and the cache was hidden in a clever spot. TFTC!
On our way through to Wanaka from the West Coast, a short detour and quick find and climb. Tftc
Picked up some mountain water while here. Kai Kelamoku found the cache. Tftc
Truly an amazing location. The views to the lake are good and views up the creek are even better.
On my way from Haast to Wanaka. This was the fifth and last one I've visited along the way. It didn't take me long to find the cache and I loved the idea of getting this view, without all the other tourists around. Thanks for hiding!
On our way to Fox Glacier WE made a short detour to the neck stream. Being two meters tall the signing of the logbook was no problem. Thanks for hiding
climbed up the banking and didn't see the cache came back down and checked the GPS when I was approached by another cacher (Edvern) so it was back up and spotted the cache straight away, why I didn't see it on my way back down in the first climb, log signed and a chat with her and off we go along the track TFTC #3384
Glad we took the short detour to this one, and surprised to meet another cacher here! Also surprised that I was the third visitor today. That's an impressive chasm. Thanks Bitsprayer - good to be back in your territory again.
today was another nice day for our holiday trip in new zealand were we of course all found some caches along the way from Wanaka to Fox Glacier.

A quick find after spending the night in the nearby DOC Camp, but boy was it busy. TFTC
Quick park and grab with the family still in the car a bit tuckered out from their Blue Pools walk on our way back to Wanaka.
A lovely little spot we would not have known about had it not been for geocaching - tftc and a quick find.
Great wee cache thanks for making us stop and take in the surround. Fav point for the view!
We are taking a 3 week vacation from the UK to tour around New Zealand. Today we are driving from Haast to Arrowtown. We stopped enroute to pick up some drive by caches. We saw some superb scenery on our journey today.

Waterfall was great today. It would sure have to be fierce to prevent access to the cache. We worried a little about our geocamper on the road so didn't want to risk stopping on the way in. Really glad the cache was here to "force " a stop. NINO TFTC
thanks for bringing me here loved coming down here and finding the caches and discovering the camp site aroha and happy caching
