TFTC. Found towards the end of an end to end hike. Lovely views in nice weather here thank you.
An easy find thank goodness on a very blustery morning. I found it while walking from Rame Head shelter to Peaceful Bay. Id left early at first light to get to the post office before it shuts at 11am(!) to pick up my resupply box.TFTC
Quick find in between looking for whales and saving seals Nice big cache and easy to find.On our adventure hiking the Bibbulmun and happy to find a few caches along the way! (Apologies for the late logs but only getting to the logging now, logs dated as per found date though!)Today was an adventure and we had some excitement along the coastal trek....we were on the lookout for whales in the ocean as we had spotted some in the distance, pazza spotted what he thought was the fins of whales close to the rocks in danger so he straight away rang DPAW in Denmark who asked him to send a video......they were very obliging and rang us back to advise that it was in fact a colony of seals that regularly hang out there sunning themselves .....nothing to worry about at all.... #theregoesmyhero #thenaherocomesalong Good work pazza, he was genuinely worried!Thank you Wolphin for placing and maintaining Irwin's Point for us and others to find and enjoy!
A great days driving today, Denmark, Walpole, Manjimup, Bridgetown, nannap, Margaret river and then busselton. All in a days work and a spot of geocaching! TFTH
Whilst staying at Coalmine Beach for a few days, we headed to the Valley of the Giants before heading out to Peaceful Bay... We aired down at Soft Beach and made our way around to Castle Rock making sure to keep the momentum up (the sand sure is very soft) From there we enjoyed the walk to GZ with the pretty flowers blooming all around, shame about the wind... Jase made the find here with DangerMouse09 whilst Master 12 & I headed down to the rocky headland - there sure is some amazing rocks around here & would be worthy of an EarthCache for someone more geologically inclined than me Thanks for bringing us here Wolphin... This is an amazing spot that was a great stop on the 4wd loop. We had so much fun exploring the area and enjoyed a couple of hours at The Gap soaking up the sun away from the wind
Found whilst walking the Southern section of the Bibbulmun Track from Pemberton to Albany. It was a quick and easy find with great 360 degree views. The cache has morphed into a huge poly pipe so maybe the description/hint need to be reviewed. No small Tupperware container and no supply of snap lock bags required! We had lucky weather with the sunshine through a cloudy but very windy day.TFTC and thanks for making us stop at this wonderful location known as Castle Rock.
Found while walking the Bibbulmun track for the 25th anniversary walk. It was an extremely wet wild and windy day but found the geocache safe and sound. Thanks for the hide.
This cache has been the closest unfound cache to our Albany address on and off for about 5 years now.
A quick trip down to Albany with a day free for caching saw this cache put square ontop of the list. We have come to Peaceful Bay and Walpole a dozen or so times and never bothered to make the find or it was too far as we had to be somewhere or it was on the way back and was always a “if we get time” so we made time today.
Walked in from peaceful bay. I reckon it’s around 7km return and it’s a beautiful walk.
Always enjoy your hides Wolphin - the last one we did of yours was Rock B35 right in the middle of nowhere.
Awarding this a FP

Great spot! Very windy but we enjoyed watching some fisherman on the rocks below haul in their catch.

What a great place for a cache. Thanks for placing it here helps me discover more WAs picturesque places.
Managed to finally get down, have replaced the cache with a new container and log. Have taken the old log. I don't think it can be salvaged, it's too wet, but if it dries out we'll see, but it looks like it's too far gone. New container is a better size, hopefully impervious to both water and the sun, just need to keep it away from bushfires. Not very well hidden now, but shouldn't be a problem in its current location.
Great little 4x4 track, grabbed this cache whilst staying in Peaceful bay with friends. log damp container in good condition, great views on the track and from GZ TFTC
Staying in Peaceful Bay for a week with muggle friends, so grabbed this cache whilst checking out the amazing scenery and coast line.

We headed south for WAGB 2021 in Albany and doing a spot of sightseeing using geocaching as our guide.
We had intended to take a replacement cache with us, but unfortunately we left it in the car, hopefully the next cacher to visit will not be so silly.
Thanks Walphin for encouraging us to come to this amazing location.

Without a 4wd, we trekked In trying conditions. Swell was high, wind was howling. We met one couple walking the track with packs. Photos attached. Container has now completely disintegrated. I left the log in an additional screw top but hopefully someone will come out with a new 1L cliplock to keep this one alive. Thanks.
TFTC. We walked to the cache from Peaceful Bay. Along the way we saw a catfish cleaning the sand in the shallows, herons, seals sleeping in the water, kangaroos looking out over the road and a stingray hoovering in the shallows on the way back. We had a tussle with a crab over seaweed and loved the head high plants closing the track in around us. The 1000s of shells were pretty and the water was so inviting. We bagged the cache easily, admiring the ocean and coastline. I don’t think there could have been a better day from the perspective of the weather. Probably the longest we have walked for a cache but worth every step! Thanks again. www.thesoloavocado.com
Got it.
If anyone can replace the container, it would be great. We didn’t have a spare to do it.

Today we are out 4wdriving with the half muggle and the geokids. Good tracks out to Castle rock with only really soft spot being the appropriate named soft beach but with the right tyre pressures we had no problems navigating it. Then the geoson and I had a nice 200m walk to the cache. Great secenery at the cache location but very windy nearly lost a pair glasses to the wind but managed to retrieve them. Cache in okay condition with a crack to bottom of container but all seems dry. Thanks for placing at a great location FP for the adventure we had.
A nice quick find on a blustery day on our Walpole to Denmark bib hike. Thanks for the cache
Hiking the bib track back to Denmark, saw by accident while eating lunch! Box is broken and corroded, needs replacing before winter
Doing a section of the Bibbulmun track over a fortnight. I am a sucker for a cache that promises a view and this one was spectacular if a little windy. Lost my hat and luckily it stopped literally next to the cache. Tftc Budokan from New Zealand
This week I am walking on the Bibbulmun Track from Walpole to Albany which has provided the opportunity to seek out some geocaches along the way. This cache, the third that I found, was a straightforward find, being in an obvious spot on the coordinates. Thank you Wolphin for installing and maintaining this cache.
Down south to Peaceful Bay for a few days to get away from the Wheatbelt's summer heat. So far south I reckon this must be our most southerly geocache find. Walked down along the track from Peaceful Bay enjoying the sunshine, breeze and the views. Wouldn't want to slip over the edge there though. Thanks for the cache; it's in great condition.
A great day out on the sand tracks, along this amazing coastline, soon had the cache in hand, nice and early this morning.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful spot.

A day 4WDing with muggle friends, they all were happy for me to have my 'fix' of caching. the GPS was messing me around, the walk up was hot and the flies were so friendly. after about 20 minutes of playing with the GPS, we came up with a Smiley and could then enjoy the view. Cache in good condition. TFTC
Hiking from Denmark to Conspicious Beach. Long day of hiking, slow going, and lacking motivation to walk after having some hot chips at Peaceful Bay. Made a new friend on the way to this cache, some dog was following me along the Bibb Track, it was about here I asked another hiker to take the dog back to Peaceful Bay. Was a quick find, less than 5 minutes. TFTH
Travelling since January from Geelong we went up the middle to Darwin and crossed the border to WA at the start of May.
We have driven the gibb river rd and been up to cape leveque.
As we travel south we have zig zagged from coast to inland and seen so many amazing things and done some truely adventurous activities
We have set up camp and will now cache the area as we discover new things, places to visit and sights to see
Thanks to caching we see more than a muggle does

Found on a wet morning. Walking Bibbulmun track from Kalamunda to Albany. Many thanks for the cache. Cache in good condition.
What a beautiful walk in the afternoon. I did this little stroll from Peaceful Bay and absolutely enjoyed the amazing views over the ocean and the overall landscape. On my way back, there were several wallabies close by that carefully watched me and where I was going. Thanks for bringing me here and for the little adventure.
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. We have been focused on finding this cache since Conspicuous Cliffs. We started out in rain and here in sunlight. We CITO along the beaches on our way here.
This one has been on the bucket list for some time. Finally a cool enough day for a round walk using 4WD tracks - very sandy and the Bib Track Lovely route via bush and coastline. TFTC
Awesome cache. Gave up yesterday after getting bogged on the sand track - not a track for the faint hearted or the non experience 4wd driver. Went back today on foot. Great views - well worth the effort!
Had a good day out 4WD-ing, did not have any problems with the sand or the tracks. Quite a lot of people out there though.
Short walk up to the top to GZ, and a quick find. Very windy but magnificent views. TFTH

Earlier this week we attempted this cache in the Prado, but became bogged on the 'Soft Beach'. It took several attemps to free the car with tyre pressures down to 14psi and using Treds. The result was to give up and wait for a cool day. Today was rated at 23 degrees (Denmark) so I decided to walk it. I parked the car close by the public toilets and began the walk. I walked using mainly the 4wd tracks rather than the Bibbulman Track, which while it would have generally had a harder base, it would also have meandered much closer to the water and traversed over rocky areas.
The weather was cool with a strong headwind on the walk to the cache which was found easily once I arrived at GZ. SL. The container and log are in good condition. While signing I noticed a squall heading my way so hurriedly finished my task of re-hiding the container then looked for a large rock to shelter behind (from the rain) - it was light but cold.
With the rain over I took several photos before beginning the return journey. This was relatively easy with the wind now behind me, but it was still hard going on the soft uphill sand tracks, though by that time they were mostly downhill.
I walked the beach up to the south end of the Soft Sand Beach, and followed 4wd tracks from there. There was so much beautiful scenery along the way, though only a few photos were taken - the camera batteries went flat on me! The round trip took a little under three hours and was just over 7.1 kms return .

Walked from Conspicuous Cliff back to Peaceful Bay. Picked this one up as a reward!
Had a great day out 4wding with the crew and after parking up nearby I made the walk up to have a look around. After making my way back about half way I realised there may be a cache nearby so dug my phone out to check.
Was about 80 meters from it so made my way back. Took a bit of searching but finally made the find.
Thanks for the cache. Great spot.

Sorry we forgot the log. During our 4-week trip through Western Australia we had a great time there and we also found a couple of caches along the route. We stopped here too to search and grab this caches. Fabulous area and well worth a visit. Very nice and beautiful geocaching site. Thanks for hiding this cache in this stunning area and greetings from Germany!

Bit of a drive through sand and iPhone nearly went flat but we got here. Awesome view and found good fishing spot. Thanks.
Awesome drive once let tyres down. Bit of a walk, phone nearly went flat but got it in the end. Beaut view.
Out with a group from the Family Bushwalking Club doing a walk along the Bibb Track. Found this one after a short hunt. All in good condition. Thanks Wolphin for the hide.
Found on our last leg of the Bib track. Absolutely splendid views. TFTC
We were heading west today to go and explore a bit up along the Frankland River. The evil Tango man has some ideas rattling around in that head of his. I hadn't been down to Peaceful Bay before so was more than happy to make the detour down this way. And yes, we let our tyres down to tackle that soft sand. The views out over the coast are well worth the trek. We even got to see the rotting carcass of a whale that had washed up on the rocks (very, very, VERY stinky!!). Found the cache all in good order. Thanks for bringing us out here Wolphin
Great view! Log book was a bit burnt around the sides but still works fine.thanks
Got to test out the cruiser on the trip in and enjoyed the walk to this one, thanks Wolphin, you get a fave from us.
I was walking through and there was a strong SW blowing and this cache was at the last sheltered spot before you need to batten down the rigging. I dropped the pack on the lee side of the rise and had breakfast and picked up the cache to sign. Then i packed up, rugged up and tightened up and went over the top into the eye of the storm.
You can see from up here why Peaceful Bay is peaceful.
Thanks for the cache.

We found the new cache! Our youngest Geo was very excited to find her first box of goodies (rather than a nano).
After remembering to take the right bag with me this time I headed out just before Christmas to give this cache its much needed maintenance. I wasn't sure what of the original cache was salvageable, so I essentially took out a brand new box. I was glad I did.
DEC/CALM/Whatever their current name is gave the national park a controlled burn, probably about a month or so ago. Unfortunately the controlled burn also included most of the cache. When I found it, there was about half a melted box left, so I swapped in the new box, hoped there weren't any trackables (there weren't) and took the remains of the old one home.
I have no idea what some of the things in the old box were. Rather amazingly though, the logbook was salvageable. The outer covers were rather charred, but the fire had done a wonderful job of drying out the pages which previous people has complained of. So I went back out and put the old log book back in.
Whoever finds it next, gets the pick of the new loot. Because its former hiding place looks a little bare (and black and charred) it is now strategically positioned under some rocks rather than a bush, but still easily visible if you're in the right spot.
Keep an eye out for snakes too, we found a lovely dugite skin about three meters from the cache.

Great found it and nice 4x4 and walk! But cache is wet in box as need fix it and can't write it as too wet! X
On a cold and blustery day we set out for the cache, but took the track with 2 4WD's. Made it the GZ without any problems and located the cache. After signing we enjoyed the enthralling views, and even saw the whale migration.
After a lot of photos we continued to 4WD around to Diamond Rock and then on to the Gap. A really great afternoon exploring the coast in this region.
Note for the next to find this cache, or for the Wolphin, the cache container is cracked and although dry now it may get wet and soggy. So a new container is probably needed.
Thanks again Wolphip for placing this cache in a great place. Really enjoyed it and well worth a favourite.

Take the track and not the coast !!!
A long walk for a reasonably easy find.
Have been traveling to Peaceful Bay for over 20 years, but this is the first time I have made the trek to Point Irwin. Its worth the trip !

Walked all the way out here over the weekend only to get to the top of Point Irwin and discover that I had left not only my GPS back at the house, but also my Cache Supply Bag too. Took me about 20 minutes to find it without my GPS - its amazing how all rocks look the same after a while.
The cache itself needs some love, but I wasn't going to make the walk twice in one trip,s o unfortunately a repair and restock will have to wait until my next visit.

Beautiful spot...you can see the penguins in Antarctica from up here. No pen in the cache so couldn't sign log, was tempted to adopt the blue haired troll though. TFTC.

Arriving at noon time at Peaceful Bay CP, my son and I decided to walk a bit along the old aboriginal trail, the Bibbulmun Trail. It was quite hot but the wind was blowing heavily from the sea, and the sandblasting peels off our skin constantly.
The views were amazing, however at the cache we could hardly stand upright at the gail was almost a storm.
Found the container easily. A long walk (7,2 km return from the caravan park) for one cache but it was definetly worth it. Fav point from me for the great views at the cache.
TFTC and best regards from Germany.

We found this on the final day of our walk along the Bibbulmun Track from Walpole to Peaceful Bay. It took a while to locate it but at least we could enjoy not wearing a backpack! Great views along the coast. A favourite. TFTC.

found with my muggle mate.. probably should have worn better foot wear given the terrain, thongs and bear feet aren't the best.. TFTC
Found it after a beautiful but very windy walk! Did some small swaps. Soft Beach Road lived up to its name - we were ok, but had to push out a bogged toyota on the way home! TFTH!
Hi we walked from Peacefull Bay to your cache and found it without any poblems. We took a photo of the blue haired troll in your cache but could not fill in the log book as we forgot our pen. Could have sworn it was in my back pack. It was a great walk and one we probably would not have done if not for the Geocache. Thanks for the great walk.

Yay! Saw a few whales and surprisingly saw a few seals. Also 3 kangas watched us as we got bogged. What a treat we had! TFTC
we walked all the way from soft beach because we did't have a 4WD.

left a toy dragon.
