### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there DazRascal,

It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is some sort of issue. The recent logs may contain more details about what sort of issues are evident.

The cache has been [**temporarily disabled**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235), so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location, until the issues/s can be addressed.

**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.

#What you need to do:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-

- **Check On The Cache**

- **Place A Write Note Log**

- **Adopt Out or Archive**

Full details for each of the above choices can be found at [**GEOCACHE MAINTENANCE**]( https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria) on the Regional Policies page.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned. Twisted

It would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Thanks for your cooperation,

Enjoyed a great day out with Lillieb05 explorong the Corryong area in the cold and wet. A great day to cache
This was our first stop for the day. I never would've explored the area if it wasn't for geocaching.
I've scratched my name in the very wet logbook. Sorry, Daz, I didn't have any spares with me today.
A fav point from me.

On my way to the Mega at Rutherglen with Wicky. She's not great on road trips, so plenty of cache stops to break things up. Thanks for placing this cache!

This was our last find today before returning to Tallangatta and a well earned beer or three. While Mrs B had exhausted her will to live after a fair bit of caching and driving around today I managed to coax (by definition: "To persuade or try to persuade by pleading or flattery; cajole") Mrs B to accompany me to the GZ as I was keen to check out the now defunct trestle bridge. To say she was less than keen would be a gross understatement! Anyway after much arm flapping and rude words cast at me ("You can sod off and find it yourself, I'm tired and hot" etc.) she did end up coming with me.

I like looking at how construction was done in years long gone but then that's just me and not everyone's "cup of tea". Certainly not for Mrs B that's for sure!

Found while on a road trip through New South Wales and Victoria. Thought we would stop to check out the bridge. Very interesting.

The logbook is wet but can still be signed.Tftc.

We’re heading to Canberra via Cooma for the fun of it. We spotted the bridge and while trying to find a u-turn bay came across the vehicle access road and made our way in. Awesome bridge, shame about the destruction done in the name of ‘safety’.

Note: despite the efforts to keep it dry, the notebook was drenched, we were only just able to write in it successfully, possible maintenance required.

Driving past - “That’s a cool looking bridge” says I.

“Wonder if there’s a cache?” says VCL.

Check phones and fight to get signal - but there is a cache! So a brief hike, brief search - and another cache claimed!

Log is rather damp and could do with some TLC

03-Nov-22
What a lovely spot! Easy find, even with a reluctant GPS … (logbook partly signed, as was soaked - bring on the sunshine for it to dry!!). Thanks for the cache!

I am visiting the Albury area from Canberra, for the Muddy Murray bike ride, and took the opportunity to seek out a few caches by the second day's route from Shelley to Wodonga. This was a straightforward find, being in a hiding spot obvious to geocachers on the coordinates Thank you DazRascal for installing and maintaining this cache.

20-Aug-22
So todays plan was to drive the Murray River Road to Walwa, cut across to Shelley and head back home via Tallangatta - picking up whatever caches along the way that caught our interest.

This was Mr ILT's main goal for today. To get a chance to check out the tressle bridge he had driven past so many times before. Definitely worth the look. Worth a FP from us for the location.

Thanks DazRascal for placing this cache.
Log and cache all in good condition.

20-Aug-22
On our way to Colac Colac caravan park for the night. Everywhere is so wet and boggy after all the rain we have had.

This is a really cool old bridge, I have driven past here quite a few times and never knew it existed. Cache found it good order, took a little bit to find.

Tftc!

Now on the main highway and it was great to stop off and have a wander to this amazing structure. Favourite point added. Thanks for the cache DazRascal.

We've escaped from home for a few days -the first break for at least three years.
Day three had a special purpose. I made a promise to a mate many years ago that we would have a cold can at the Jingellic Pub but, alas, he didn't get to enjoy the trip. Today I had that cold can for him.

Caching by torchlight. Ya can't beat it.Big Grin

Bunadoorian and I had a very early start this morning as we were people on a mission - one cache to finalise two Challenge caches. After driving to Walwa to fill the Map 14 of UBD Victorian Road Atlas and the Towong LGA for the Vic LGA challenge - Bunadoorian and I decided to stop here to visit the Trestle Bridge and was so pleased there was a cache here too. Cache found in good condition. TFTC and for bringing us here - DazRascal. What a lovely area to visit. A favourite point for me.

A beautiful spot to visit. Thanks

01-Aug-20
Found this one easily after a look at the trestle bridge. Similar to one down home but on a smaller scale. Would have loved to have watched the old steam trains wind their way across some of these. Interestingly the information about the dating and driven/placed markings on the timbers came up in a forestry history forum the other day. Only other place I've seen reference to it - here on the sign & in that forum.

Found a GA cache out in the open at the car park. Will contact Tassie Trekkers about that. Rehid it as best I could work out.

Cheers, DJ

Suscoe decided to have a big day out today with a trip to Corryong and back to Albury. Over 300 kms of travel on a glorious day. it got to 27 degrees as we wandered the roads of this area.
We were able to glimpse the Alps twice and there was still quite a bit of snow up there, it looked beautiful with the sun shining on the snow.
This part of the country is looking splendid at the moment with green everywhere we looked.

Thanks to DazRascal for showing us this delightful old bridge. It looked lovely in the morning light.
A favourite for such a brilliant spot.

We were so carried away by the history at the nearby cache, that we forgot to have morning tea. With that in mind it was no big deal to stop again so soon and what an ideal place this was - sort of! I would have hated to arrive here towing our van if a couple of other cars were already here. As it was we were still manoeuvring to turn around and park when a sedan came tearing down the road! All was good - they got out of our way and we got out of theirs before settling down to a cuppa!

Oh the cache you say? After finishing our refreshments we walked down the track to view the bridge - Pa photographing while I found said cache at the end of the geotrail. It is in good condition and now the log carries my name. Thanks for a great placement DazRascal.

A long weekend away with Pacman covering over 2000km across 5 days, covering the Victorian and NSW Alps.

Arrived here late at night, breaking up the drive with the promise of something I love - trestle bridges.

Once at the bridge itself it was an impressive sight - especially at night, standing right out of the bush. Would love to come back at day. Especially as nearly got lost at night missing the turnoff on the way back!

This was the second day of our Albury/Wodonga area getaway from Melbourne for the school holidays.

Today the plan was to drive from our accommodation in Albury to Corryong from the NSW side and then return to our new accommodation in Wodonga via the Victorian side of the border - picking up a few caches along the way

It was a lovely sunny day for a drive.

The scenery on the drive to Corryong was quite spectacular , especially the snow capped views of the Australian Alps - which we had never seen before and totally weren't expecting. It just didn't look real at all!

Thanks DazRascal for this cache and bringing us to this great spot.
