Couldn't find this one tonight. Did this one a little while ago and wasn't in the same place or around it today. We hope it hasn't been muggled, could the cache owner please come and check on it. Thanks PIPPAESP
Found this afternoon after it had stopped raining. Bit wet and muddy but an easy enough find. SL TNLN. TFTC.
found with scouts, a good first night to get the kids into geocaching
OMG I think we climbed 4 trees before finding this. So happy to find it though and nice cache.
this one didn't take very long but my sister got stuck in a tree looking for the cache she got cut and itchy but i beat her to the cache
Pretty cool mini trek to GZ reminds me of the fun we used to have in trees like this. Tftc Log book was a little damp but still able to log.
Took a bit of ducking and weaving but got there in the end. Good vantage point to watch for pesky muggles. TNLNSL TFTC-Beacon515L
Found this one with Littlemerpip and suddenly realised that I hadn't logged it! Oops so here is the log, as Littlemerpip said we found the cache quite exposed. Signed log but didn't swap anything and I didn't manage to scare Littlemerpip with the contents of the cache either!
Thanks for the cache knypha.
Thanks for the cache knypha.
Out and about in the Eltham area with kmace this afternoon and this one was next. Now I am not an arachnophobe but I could imagine some friends of mine not really wanting to do this one!!!!!! Nice piece of parkland here and the walk up to GZ through the light scrub was fun. Saw a likely hiding spot from a few metres away and there was the cache sitting happily in the open. SO after signing the log, rehid it a lot better so not quite as obvious for the next finder. Also found an old pen hiding under the cache which is now safely in a rubbish bin! Thanks to knypha for this one.
A late log but trying to catch up. TFTC. We removed a hungry jacks drink cup that was sitting on top of its hiding spot making it a very obvious find. Almost spotted by a couple of muggles.
No bees today, no possums today and no Arachnids today but I did find the cache
It was a little exposed so I tried to leave it well covered.

Nice one that the kids can find and access with minimal help. Nice location. Left two themed items. Thanks.
Easily spotted, I think some cover may have been removed by recent winds ! Back in same place now , with a bit more cover . TFTC
Found this one after being all spiderey around the area. Was a nice way to get some exercise! Cache could be better camouflaged, but it's out of the way so fewer folks can find it.
Nice hide! It took a couple of seconds to find but the accomplishment was great. Thanks to the owner of the cache and good luck to other cachers
I used to visit this park as a child because my uncle lived close by. Thanks for bringing me back here. tftc
Got a few scratches along the way and whipped a friend with the slingshot tree! Entertaining find!
Found at 10:23
Picked up on my way past while on a solved puzzle run. The council were just finishing mowing so a bit of a look around while they packed up left the place deserted and the cache soon in hand.
Thanks knypha for the cache. My kids would love to climb this tree.

Can the next cache hunter or knypha replace the logbook zip lock plastic bag (small) as the plastic has ripped right down to the 'zip' over time. I might carry a few bags with me when I go looking for future caches.
This was the second attempt at this one today as the first time I parked up in the Kinder carpark but then realised that it might look a little suspicious having a 40 year old bloke poking around the bush next to a Kinder whilst the kids were out playing - decided to come back later in the evening. Found it easily and saw the ladybird magnet placed there last week by Manatunga3.
Didn't take anything and didn't add anything as I didn't have any arachnoid type trinkets with me.

A great cache. A short walk in amongst the bush......no nasties thankfully.
We left a small red ladybird fridge magnet (to keep the bug theme), and took out a small white plastic squirrel which is seriously lacking bug-like qualities.

Great hideaway and yes a bit muddy and boggy but really well done thank you
After several hours at the office computer I needed fresh air in my lungs and some activity. Although it was a bit soggy under foot, I still had a nice stroll up the hill through the scrub. Once near GZ I spotted the hide easily, retrieved the container from its hiding spot and then signed the log at 2:30pm. Took: a yellow dinosaur as it did not fit in with the theme of the cache and Left: a big green arachnid that I got from another cache.
Thanks knypha for the cache and for bringing me to this lovely spot, with such magnificent old trees. [^]

The open ground near the car park is still very wet so either a detour or gumboots are necessary to get across to the general locality of the cache. Once on dry land, it was relatively easy to find even though my GPSr seemed to be a fair way out... TNLN, TFTC.
Ground very boggy in the lead up to this cache. Had to piggy back the wife so she didn't ruin her pedicure.
We dodged the muddy puddles at the bottom of this hill, and pushed by a few trees to get to this cache. No sign of any arachnids.
Competing in the GeoSpotZ means I am getting out and getting some caches a bit more often than usual. Today I invited Danozz to come along with me, as caching with two is more fun than by yourself. After my list was completed we collected random caches we found along the way.
We didn't see any spiders when we hunted for the cache. We tramped up to the cache and found it quickly and easily, I also grabbed the TB I found in there. The cache was safe and dry with plenty of room in the log book.
Thanks for the cache knypha.

A conveniently placed cache on my way to completing the Payback series.
The GPS pointed straight across the squelchy ground and beyond, so I decided to take the longer, drier route. Which its how I found the biggest mushroom I've ever seen, a few metres uphill from GZ.
A simple find, with the container, as mentioned by a previous cacher, full of what can only be mighty morphing power arachnids.

Another easy cache to end the night on, however, B1 was testing B2's mettle on a cold, wet night. First it's cemeteries, next it is spiders. While hiking up, B2 got to hear B1's football stories. Maybe B1 was scared of the spiders too! Discovered cache easily and found it infested with ... dinosaurs.

Find # 1737
I headed out today despite the misty rain that had just started, I was determined to get another ten caches today as I have set myself a target of getting my 2000th cache at Groundspeak Headquarters in Seattle when I go there in August. I estimate I need another 200 caches before I leave Australia. Today the plan was to start near Heidleberg and then head towards Eltham area.
I arrived in the nearby car park and there were a few other cars there too, but no actual muggles about so I went for the short stroll up to GZ where the cache was quickly found.
Thanks to kynpha for the cache. TNLN.

I have driven past this cache many times and never had the courage to face those dastedly creatures.
But today I gathered up the courage closed my eyes and ran like hell.
Signed the cache somethere in the middle there.
TFTC, sorry, definitely no fav's for this one.

Found by Team Ladava around 1.00 pm
After a lean caching period since achieving our 1,000 finds at Christmas due to a number of reasons including repainting the house it was great to be out again on a lovely Autumn day.
I strolled up the hill with the dog for an easy find in a quite pleasant area.
TNLN
Our thanks to knpha for the cache and bringing us to this location.

Found @ 11:10pm, find # 1433.
Out on a night caching run with waffle eggs, this was the nineth for me for the night.
We parked the car and made our we to GZ through the bushes and as we rounded a nice big tree the hide was spotted, nicely laid out sticks.
Thanks to knypha for this cache.

I was out for a night running grabbing a few caches on the way after picking up Steve http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=70a73001-9e96-486b-82f9-f078e491c7f2 I wanted to grab a few caches also while in the area and this cache was one of them.
I parked not far away and walked into GZ. I did not expect this type of terrain but it was fun. At GZ I made a quick find and cleaned out the crap in the cache.Used tickets are not trade items..... TFTC

Found today on a caching run in Eltham together with nadya. No one in the direct sight of GZ on the Sunday afternoon. Don't know why it has "recommended at night" attribute, it's definitely harder to get this one at night. No arachnids around.
Found it t 8.00 pm on 13 Mar 2012. I don't know about 'Arachnids Within' there were certainly a considerable number of 'Arachnids Without' at that time of the evening. They were all merrily spinning their webs at face height - which in the dusk I couldn't see but could feel!
I have lived in this area for forty years but have never visited this pleasant place before, in fact I didn't realise it was there. TFTC TonyGold

There were some kids on the nearby play equipment who took no notice of me heading towards the trees. As i approached gz there was a massive tree and a walk around revealed an obvious hiding spot. Cache number 2 on a short run. TFTC.
GMelb was in the area after finding a nearby cache. So I decided to make a slight detour and find this cache. Being a weekend, and a hot day there was non-one around. The cache was easily found and logged without seeing any wildlife. TNLN

Passing through Eltham and decided to get a couple of caches.
Pulled up this in the search and almost freaked out at the name.
Sorry, I couldn't even consider it after that.
Thanks For (the tought of) The Cache though.

This was our 850th find. Yay!!!!!!!!! Came here for a family catchup and thought we would duck out and grab a cache as we were half an hour early for function. Found easily, signed and were on our way again. Thanks for the cache.
It's a bit easier to find during daylight hours. The dog enjoyed the walk too. Thanks.
Looking at houses to rent in the area do though id do this cache as it was close. Love the tree, these trees are great to climb-brought back many memories of climbing (and falling out of) tress when I was younger
Lovely spot

A quick and easy find as the cache container was poorly camouflaged - I covered it better after my log. TFTC
Nice drive out to eltham this morning and decided to do some caching on our way home. Wish we had worn shies though, thongs Are not so good for hill walking in longish grass. Spotted an arachnid which alerted us to the cache. Tnln sl tftc.
Great hide. First find for my partner Victoria. Looking forward to more. Whooo yah!
What a miserable night for caching. It had been raining all day and I was sitting at my desk looking at the rain fearing the night ahead. There was nothing else of the cards for the night except sitting at home doing paperwork so I decided to bite the bullet and get wet. I travelled north and cleared out a few caches through to Eltham North and then returned to pick up jsmyong55 in Hawthorn. I wanted to travel south to the Frankston area to pick up a few solved puzzles there, so we headed south and made some good finds. This was once cache picked up during the night. A quick walk up the hill and the cache was found. Thanks knypha for the cache.
Out here setting a street o course so dropped by to find this, aided by lobster6 7.
Went back to add more log books for the cache. It's still there, but probably needs better hiding. Looks quite exposed, even with our efforts to cover it up.
7.05 No one about today as it is to early and a bit over caste. Went in a straight line which went getting very wet in the long grass. The cache was completely exposed and looked if muggles have written in it but left everything in tact and in good condition. I have left it covered. It looks like a great climbing tree which is probably why the muggles.
Thanks for the cace.
Thanks for the cace.
Boys found their first cache today. Clever hiding spot.
Notepad is full, but I'll return with a new one for future adventurers.

Coming home from baby sitting I decided to try for this one. Wet feet was the result but luck was on my side. Then went to sign the log only to find that my pen had stopped working. I had to go back to the car for another. Double visits should be worth something. No spiders - hooray. TFTC knypha
While two of our team stayed in the car, the rest of us ventured off. Following the GPS we walked straight past this one. Eventually we backtracked and found it. TFTC.
Going by the previous posts I should be thankful for the recent cool change, as there were no arachnids or arachnid homes to fight through on the way to this cache. A nice bit of bush bashing lead to a small clearing and a relatively easy find.
However, when I emerged from the path I took bushbashing to the cache I was sighted by two ducks and a duckling. I'm convinced they won't tell anyone, though.
TFTC!

my daughter had a basketball match around the corner this morning. so just a quick cache after the game. yes they won, into the grandfinal next week.YEH![:x]
#1882 We've gotta say that we have been enjoying the cooler weather and the lack of arachnids after last summers explosion of the blighters. It seems that the recent warmer weather have coaxed the little blighters out again - Dad blazed the trail through the multitude of webs and little 8 legged rotters. Glad to say that we lived to tell the tail and found the cache to boot . TNLN thanks kyypha for the placement
Arachnids around as well! Walked through lots of spider webs getting to this one and had a good giggle about it. J got hooked up in some blackberrys so we had to pick up Thorns in my Side Geocoin Left a hat pin.

Found it! Nice walk around Eltham with friends, left sugar sticks and bus ticket took nothing. TFTC ?
Needed a caching fix at lunchtime and this fitted the bill. Of course I drove to the wrong side of the park first. It was a gloomy day but the green metallic pen lifted my spirits. TFTC
#28 Found at 3:10pm. Another lovely park discovered. It was harder to get there than to find the cache though, but we really enjoyed this one. TFTC knypha
After a long day catching up on Playstation "work" I headed out for a bit of evening caching. Started out with driving south for a bit then turned East for a while then randomly picked a cache on the GPS map. Tuned out to be this one! Great convenient parking, but I was glad I was here of a Saturday evening, considering this is a childcare centre. Walked up through the bush following the 'cachers trail' and found cache after a small search. Coming back down the hill, I walked straight into huge spiders web, complete with a huge spider, probably the same spider that MeAndMrsJones walked into! The cache is in good condition. Thanks for the cache, knypha.
