I spent a good amount of time not finding this one. Even if it is there - judging by the previous logs - it is wet and in need of attention. If not interested in maintaining then please archive.
Couldn't locate this one today and since it has been so long between finds is it possible to have it checked?
Mmm closer to the lamp post that the gps co-ords as in the log. Logbook unusable. TFTC

Heard quite a few fruit bats nearby whilst hunting for this one at night. Cheers Gav [9059]

Stretchomatic and I found after about 5 minutes of searching. Took bouny ball and key ring, left the octopus kinder surprise
Thought this might be tricky with all the cyclone debris but made a lucky find in a minute. Spotted the label sticking out of a niche! Container is rather full, someone needs to take something larger and put back something smaller. Signed and replaced, hidden slightly better.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Found it. Had a look the day before but no luck. Set myself an afternoon to check every nook and cranny of all those rocks. 1st rock, no, 2nd rock yes. Phew signed log.
Harder than we thought! Finally located after lots of scratching and pausing for muggles, took nothing, left purple bead. TFTC!
I tried the most obvious area first, hoping that I didn't have to go bush. The GPS was saying 7m when I found the cache hidden in a geocaching manner.
This was to my last cache today and was placed by the same team as my last find. This would have been very hard except a little bit of the cache was showing so I was lucky here. The next finder will not be as fortunate as I made sure that you could not see it. Maybe the wind moved some of the camo or some animal checked it out but it's all good now. Thanks again Pete & Liz.
I thought that this was supposed to be straight forward.
Well not that easy, but found eventually following a generous clue from Geodaughter.

We had GZ about 5m apart from the different devices and had searched once before doing a final search and finding the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

Wow. Felt like a scub turkey digging up the garden bed. Lo and behold I didn't have to leave the path. TNLN. SL. T4TC. Bamster
The human GPS (Geodad) took me to a rough GZ and then made me find it by myself, which I did pretty quickly (I think he is starting to dislike me). Signed the log, bounced the rubber ball (and replaced) then refurbished the cache. Thanks for bringing me here.
Short search had this one soon in hand. Replaced the log book as the original was full and people have been signing on a piece of paper. TFTC Pete & Liz
No idea on this one. The grass has been mown lately and if the cache is down low, I wasn't finding it. Thanks anyway.
Found it on a quite wet day, got some wet feet getting there.

I couldnt find it at all, even with the help of a friend. We did look at night time though...
Drove past but too many muggles around GZ to attempt a search today. Hopefully can squeeze it in tomorrow. Surprised at the number of muggles around for midday, midweek but can't win them all...
Yep, my gps leg me round and round and round and round too! But it kept taking me past the same spot often enough that I eventually looked there and found the cache. What a neat little hiding spot
206th cache. 30th in Oz.
GPSr led me on a merry dance but I found it eventually.
Nice park to wander through.

Found easily. Reading previous logs we took a new note book but it was too big for the cache container so couldn't leave it. Signed on a spare spot in the front.
Charlie and I are here from Oregon, USA,traveling the east coast in a camper van. Charlie was on his own...didn't spot it.
Found on another business trip to Townsville .
Found very easily after reading the previous logs as well as the clues .
Since I was travelling light for work I did not have my usual caching tools to replace the log which is overfull now.

A nice little park to play in, even for the big kids at heart.
After looking at the gallery we had a rough idea where to look.
Nice quick easy find for the day.

yet another cache attempt where I was reluctant to dig in, due to feeling over conspicuous.

My GPS was all over the place, so really don't know if I was looking in the right place or not.
Happy to come back - a fantastic park!

This one was a lot tricker than expected! After a lot of searching, we eventually found the cache in a "hard place". Left a fridge magnet. TFTC!
Returned again today no muggles around and found it in minutes. Log is full though and may need to be replaced as we had to write onto the back page and was a little damp so we put the contents in the sun for a while to dry out. Glad we didn't give up on it. TFTC left a rubber band.
Couldn't find it though it was only our second cache ever. We won't give up though especially since it is nice and close to home.
Found this one with no problems at all. Didn't even need GPS after reading the logs and looking at the photos. Have been to this park on many occasions with the kids and didn''t even know the cache was here.
Did not sign the look as the pencil inside was broken so could the next cacher bring a replacement. I will return soon to sign the log.

First cache for the day, was very easy to find as it was just lying in the garden bed in plain view (hid it afterwards). Great park, BJ&H will have to visit this one with the bikes or scooters TFTC TNLN
Found the cache at 11.30am. Wait until the miggles leave the park - found it no problem. SL. Thanks Pete & Liz for organising the cache and hunt.
Lovely park. Had trouble with the Car GPS kept telling us we were 50mts away. So I started to look around the area for obvious hints. Found cache and signed log. TNLN.TFTC
Earlier this year we were unable to locate this cache, so while in Townsville we decided to have another go at locating this cache. This time around we have instant success and were able to walk straight up and nab the container. Bumblebee signed the log and Ballbag returned the cache to its hiding spot. TNLN. TFTC.

Nice work. The park was looking great today. One family walking dogs went by with a young lad? Wondered if it might just be the owners as the eager youngster went straight to GZ b4 continuing? TN L bandaids. 3rd for the day at 0906. TFTC.
On a trip to Townsville, this one popped up on the radar and was duly tackled. TFTC
Found with Townsvillian. Had tried this one a while back and couldn't find it. Surprisingly easy this time. TFTC
After coming twice before - it was a quick, easy find today.
TNLN. TFTC. The park looked beautiful today - we came previously after the floods early in the year when it was very overgrown and untidy.

After the DNF I went and had a look. The cache is still were I left it. Was able to walk straight to it. Bearing in mind that after the rain there was some leaf clutter covering it. But still there
After Ballbag&Bumble could not find this cache, Scorpion revisited the area as he had found it earlier in the year. It is not where he found it anymore which leads him to believe it has been Muggled. Can someone please confirm this?

We were unable to locate this cache on both visits to GZ. The first time around we thought it was because it was getting dark. However when we returned on Sunday morning it was obvious that something was missing (and today it wasn't our caching skills. Mentioned this to Scorpion from Scorpion&Butterfly and he said that he would go and check it out for us, seeing as he was able to locate it earlier on in the year.

Second visit back to this site. Came a few days ago but had no luck, returned today after reading past logs and had a few ideas. In the course of searching today we had a close encounter with a brown snake in the rocks. Have posted a photo indicating location of the snake for future cachers to avoid. Luckily we located cache further away.

This one caused us abit of grief as the co-ords are out a bit. Took frog and Left red crab. TFTC
Was just getting into search mode when the Heavens opened up and dumped copious amounts of water right on top of me. Had to abandon the search and log as a DNF. Will be back another time. Thanks for the challenge.
Scorpion's third Cache find for the day, second with friend Frost, and first Micro Cache. Big tip: the only thing in the light post with the Aussie flag on it is electrical wires... not the Cache as Scorpion found out!!! (whoops) After abit of a look over here and a bit of a look over there, the black container was spied and the contents looked over.

Yeah- yippee! Geo son found this one with a little extra help from Pete & Liz. Thanks for the hide guys.
We've tried this one twice now (the first time we were interrupted by Muggles). Unfortunately we still haven't found it. Not sure if the big wet washed it away. We found everything imaginable except for the cache. The trees effect the GPS so you can only get in the vicinity. We'll give this one another go some other time.
4th time lucky! I can't understand how I missed it previously as I found it in less than a minute today, must have almost touched it before. No swaps today, signed log. Thanks Pete & Liz & The Boy for a challenging cache (well, challenging for me anyway).
Congrats Dazza,
We are glad you found it and must commend you on your perserverance. Well done

Well I must say I was about to give up thinking that all the recent rain must have well & truly buried it under sediment but squeak of bubblensqueak was with me & having found this one previously she caused me to persist & ultimatley led me to it but yes be prepared to move some debries for this one & GZ was about 4mtrs off with a 3.5mtr epe. Cache is in good order, TNLN, TFTC.
Had a bit of a look here a couple of months ago but there were too many muggles about to have a proper look. We had the place to ourselves today, but the cache was to well hidden for me,I probably stepped over it a few times. Please feel free to send me a hint. Thanks for the hunt anyway.

Thanks Pete & Liz - especially for being patient with me.
I am going to resort to the old excuse - the heat had addled the "southerner's" brain when I got the DNF. If only, I had scratched further away from the "warsaw man".
This is a lovely park and I really like the way the children's playgrounds are covered with shadecloth - a great idea in this climate.
