I found the original log book, and have placed it into a mint container until owner can fix / update... tftcPlaced back under tree
Driven past Hannibal all my life and never stopped until today. Easy find, awesome bit of history
I found the log book on the ground at the back. I've rehidden on the bucket but it needs fixing. TFTC
TFTCMy mum skatierocks made the find while my sister AmazingGracieGrace28 and mum and I were hunting for this geocache in many places. It was not a geocache we were looking for as we had ideas Hannibal was something else.Signed MissCharlieBear
TFTCFound this geocache with skatierocks and MissCharlieBear15I loved this big bucket called Cannibal mum had to remind me its called Hannibal and take photos of us in it ~ a fun place geocaching took us to!! Signed AmazingGracieGrace
TFTC Found with my geo-munchkins MissCharlieBear & AmazingGracieGrace. After looking in a couple places, we took photos with Hannibals Bucket and then I made the find!Signed log; left SWAG & RAF.
1:44:00 PM. Quick find. Stopped to drop a TB off but it wouldn't fit. Log signed. All good. Thanks for the cache Just a Trifle
I was out today caching with Muggle65 and GreenGecko1. I had only had two caches on the list today. After the event we headed to this cache. Just a Trifle thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for enjoyment of the caching community.
After a lovely dinner at the blackbutt pub last night and a peaceful nights sleep it was an early morning start today to score a few caches before work begins. My target to day is to get to 100 caches in the south Burnett LGA to get one step closer to a challenge cache Im focusing on in Brisbane.Upon arriving at ground zero I found a safe place to park the geowagon and made my way to ground zero. It didnt take long until I had located ground zero and I soon had the log out and was making my mark for prosperity. Safely returning the cache to its hiding place I was soon back in the van and off to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Had to look around the area a bit but did find it. Could use a sticker or something on the outside just to make it a little more obvious that it is a geocache for anyone who might find it accidentally
I'm currently away from the area, returning at the end of May. I'll take a look then.
I did not find it, even after looking at previous clues. Thanks anyway for a view of the bucket.
Caching and volunteering at parkrun at the same time. Multi-tasking at its best.

Out doing parkrun today and chanced upon a few caches. That’s an impressive bucket!
What a year Sandyofthesea and I have had. We kitted out the Prado and took off from Perth, Western Australia at the start of April 2022 to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. We started with the Nullabour, Eyre and York Peninsulas, the Riverlands, visited family in Victoria and then back in SA it got cold. Flinders and the Oodnadatta Track was cold and we finally warmed up in Dalhousie Springs. The Alice beckoned and then change of plan and ended up tackling the Tanami Track to the Kimberley and Bungles Bungles. Territory Day in Darwin was unhinged - please try and do it! The Gulf, the coast and the car breaker ‘Old Tele Track’ to the top of Cape York. This is a must but it’s not easy! Eventually made it to Brisbane to get some fixes to the car….. let’s see where we end up.

Spending a day caching around Nanango on all the roads less travelled
Hannibal eats vehicles by the looks of the tracks leading in…..
Thanks to CO’s for taking time to set out and maintain hides and for showing us your very special part of the world

Found whilst on a very non direct route to QOGM - Charleville 2022. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching. TFTC Just a Trifle

Two TASSIES still out and about, but turned the corner and heading for home. Second day in Nanango "camped" at a rather "unusual" caravan/motorhome park to say the least ! A little sortie this afternoon yielded this cache amongst others. Mrs rhubarbroad sussed this one pretty smartly. All in good nick here. TFTC JustATrifle.
This was certainly worth a look due to its size. Initially the GPSr led us slightly astray, but by the time I had searched Mrs SKI had found it.
Although there was still plenty of caching to be done in Kilkivan it was time to move on as we work our way home. Today it was to Nanango, not long drive but quite interesting through the rolling hills. We cached on the way again but were more restricted on the busier road with a van in tow. We bypassed a number we were not comfortable pulling up for.
On arrival at Nanango we set up camp and then after lunch at a bakery in town took the bikes of the back and rode the bike loop caching as we went. A great way to see some of the town on cooler day.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Just a Trifle.

This took a bit. When your GPS takes you to the right and you should go to the left. Left our mark. Thanks for the cache.

Nearly gave up but glad we had one more look and bingo. Our first ever cach find and the kids loved it.
We stopped for a few caches on our way into town this morning and this big one is one we found. All good here log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Just a Trifle for this one.
While out on one of our geocaching days with Peppa, we discussed how many oldies we have found and mentioned "Noises of Tarong". So a day trip to the area was planned and today we finally found it.
On the way back to Nanango for some cool refreshments, we stopped to find one more cache...
Checked all places until we searched another location and there it was. Added a logsheet to the cache. That's one BIG BUCKET!!!

Pulled up in front of the big bucket and made a quick find. Cache was completely empty. Probably muggled since last found.
Quick find at GZ! Loved this thing - tried to drive it but Ardom encouraged me to not go all the way to the back
Up for the weekend to do a bit of cycling. Happy to Cycle a few caches in a circuit along here.
Last for the day and being in the oldest 1000 it was the actual reason for venturing out this way before setting up camp at Blackbutt for tomorrow’s ride.

A fun cache for the little chikins to visit as it was very educational. Chilinlittle walked straight up to this cache so it was a super easy find for us. Just happens that way sometimes. Chikinlittler couldn't get over the size of the chain inside. We are at day 1 of our weekend caching around Nanango. This is find no. 28. TFTC.

Road trip day three, our final day.
Today was the day to make tracks for home, of course with a number of stops along the way. I was the only one who didn’t have this one, not really sure why as I’ve driven past him a few times on the way to/from caching adventures. Well today that needed to change.
We pulled up right by Hannibal and I hopped out to begin my search. I found “Hannibal” but his “stomach” was empty. A quick dash back to the supplies in the car and I had soon added a logsheet.
Thanks for the cache Just a Trifle.

TFTC. Our first full day in Nanango. Decisions Decisions. Which way do we go? We decided to stay close to town this morning. A great little circuit. A morning run of 20 finds and 1 DNF. Back in the showgrounds for lunch and we will decide which way to go then. All finds were reasonably straightforward with good co-ordinates.
That is certainly one big bucket. We stopped here and made a quick find.

The_Evil_Muggle insisted we return to this location to put our cars in the bucket for photographs. After playing with the cars in the bucket we searched for cache, which ‘just happened to be there’ too! Mr Jebjeb found it while looking in a different area than I and Mrs Jebjeb were looking.
Driving past this is a little hard to miss! Stopped in for a phito and as a bonus a cache here as well... wow, that is huge!
Trip log: Day 8 of the 10 day Easter Queensland Trip with dty73 and Tankengine. As has been the way, covid threw things into doubt but we packed the car and headed off waiting to find the fate of the Dayboro Mega and if QLD would be the destination. On route to the north of NSW to stand by and wait... we got the news it was all go!
Having spent a few nights in Bundaberg under a welcomed sunny blue sky, a sure contrast to the wet days of the Mega, it was time to make our way southish. A selection of counties along the way with some sideways detours to find the ones we could get. Lots of bottle trees, prickly pear and a range of terrain but a lush green and scenic drive to Toowoomba.

Day 8 - Homeward Bound
Aquilus1, Tankengine and I drove from Bundaberg to Toowoomba today.
More counties were on the agenda to pick up with a couple of tourist spots as well. We met some more awesome people, ate some amazing foods and found a few good caches.
One highlight was that we discovered that the tree felling along some of the highway is being done for safety reasons. Statistically drivers die within the first 9m of coming off the road. So they remove the trees and you should slow down when you hit the dirt and hopefully wake up when you get to bumpy ground. You won’t stop in time to hit a tree, but the impact should lessen.
This cache: Nice quick park and grab. I’m so glad there is a cache here. So many cool places don’t have a cache to bring people to. We had a bit of fun here before getting back on the road again. Tftc Just a Trifle!!!

Christmas Trip 2020 was a blast! 2 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs towing a camper trailer visiting lots of places in the Queensland Outback. Started Cooroy, staying in Dalby, Nindigully Pub, Charlotte Plains Station, Charleville, Roma, Emerald, Rockhampton and then Yandaran for Christmas before heading home. 4600 kilometers in two and a half weeks with lots of caches in between (well as many as I was allowed to).
All caches were found with ease and in good condition unless stated otherwise, thank you to all the cache owners for placing these caches, especially the ones in remote areas that were great to stop, stretch the legs, and get another smiley.
