There haven't been any log entries for 6-7 weeks now. Perhaps this event could be archived now? Cheers Gav
Thanks team Chelmo for organising this event. It was a great opportunity for a northener to put faces to, and meet, some identies already electronically well known, and some new ones too. It also got me to the furthest south cache finds to date.
A big thanks to Team Chelmo for organising. It was a great afternoon of meeting cachers new and old (I'm talking about length of service!), talking about caches, trials, tribulations and successes. The multi micro madness was a lot of fun. It was great to meet you all, and I hope to see you all again soon.
923 Met many other new faces to put to the names of NZ cachers that I have seen on caches and logs over the past couple of years. Great fun. DS8300
Thanks team Shelmo for organising the event. Great to see familiar faces (especially Sallies) and new faces too (Kiwi..., Simpsons...). Had to leave early as Andre was getting tired.
Great afternoon - thank you. It was great that the rain held off until the end of the event. Gained event discovery of FTF Coin plus found all 8 micro locations, but alas only 5 stickers available for us to retrieve. Thank you also to team Chelmo for arranging the event and for allowing us to view (discover) your great collection. Event ended with 3 TB's to disperse.
Had a wonderful time and pleased that the weather stayed fine.Didn't manage to talk to everyone there, but it was great to catch up with old friends. Also managed to leave lots of books in the playground.Thank you arranging the pipe bands as I love pipe bands and for those who saw me kissing the man in a kilt, him and his wife are old friends.
Thanks for a great afternoon Team Chelmo. Always good to catch up with others and attend event caches when we can. It certainly brings out the competitive spirit in Buckomama.
Thanks for organising this great event. Good oppertunity to meet other cachers.
Cheers to Team Chelmo for organising this chance to put some faces to names. A rather impressive collections of geocoins and TB's on display and a multi micro race around the park was enjoyable. And a FTF geocoin to boot Thanks.
Many thanks Team Chelmo, for the grreat eveny great to see all the new face and the old hands.

Really enjoyed attending this event as I was not expecting to be in the country. A late change to my travel itinerary to East Timor made it possible. Lovely to great friends and being able to put lots of new faces to familar names was great. The microcache hunt was fun. The list of very impressive geocoins & Tb's I discovered took an age to log. Thanks for organising the event it will be a lovely memory to tide me over the next few months of no caching. I look forward to lots of new caches when I return.
An enjoyable after noon with like minded people who enjoy our crazy little sport. Thanks to Team Chelmo for organising.
It was great to meet the crowd - faces new and old. A most enjoyable chit-chat. And I've never seen such an assemblage of TBs and geocoins in one place before. Thanks Team Chelmo for organising the event - we all enjoyed it a lot. Cheers from Grandalf(766)
1423. Thanks Team Chelmo for hosting this event. It was great to catch up with so many people from far and near. We really enjoyed our time with you all. Wow what collections of geocoins some people have amassed - that was quite a surprise.
Thank you very much

We finally got there - after listening to the pipe bands for a while in the original location. They were most impressive. Ditto what everyone else said - and Thanks to Team Chelmo for organising it.
Dropping in 3 TB's (Memory Matt Bug, A Train, and Tonk India Diabetes); at least 2 of which can be grabbed from me.
Unfortunately the disadvantage of using a public park for an event you can't book it and others are free to use it. I just got back from a weeks holiday to find the local pipe band also have an event in the same place, so I am relocating mine a couple of hundred metres. It's now just 100m East of the "Troll". See you tomorrow

Only one seat left in the car, there maybe 2 if you are willing to cram in the back seat or if Liz still has morning sickness. Heres your chance to get something back from a big American company that supplies major parts to NASA and the US militery ( I don't lose any sleep using their petrol).Grandalf has taken up the offer so far.
At the minute we intend visiting about 6 caches in the area and intend to be on the road from Christchurch at 9am or so.

We are hoping to be able to attend. Rodney has been making tramping sticks over the last few months - partly therapy but also to raise money for our Philippines Mission Trip this coming April. He will have some sticks with him to sell if anyone is interested.
Will attend to meet new people and find out more about this HIGHLY ADDICTIVE passtime.
I will pray to the weather gods for a fine day. lol

We'll be there! Just been out repairing "The Odd Fellow" cache with USAKiwi (Nelson), and had a couple of beers with Bitsprayer, GSV No Fixed Abode and Red Iguana last night. Small Island Ay!
Did someone mention coins[?] Ok, I'm going to drop in the Team's private collection. If you are interested in logging these coins then feel free to "Discover" them at this event.
Hmmm - that's two events in two weekends and at the moment I can't make either of them - Have a good event everyone.
I'll see if I can adjust my plans in order to attend.

We are really excited to host our first event and catching up with some old friends and meeting some new ones . Dropping in a couple of TBs to attend. If anyone sees any coins listed in our "Profile" (Trackables) they would like to see, e-mail us and I will "Drop" them in also. See you soon, Mark (Elmo)
I'm planning on being there, and look forward to meeting new cachers and old (well, not many older than me!!) Grandalf
I am unlikely to make this one as I have an alternative event on that weekend. Would have liked to make it down to the SI for an event.
