My apologies to all... this one actually went missing AGAIN within about a week of me putting out the last one. Have been meaning to disable this listing for quite some time, but kept forgetting....
I don't think I'll put in a new cache here until I can find a more suitable, less muggle-able hiding spot.

We tried to find this one several times over several days. We were not detered by the muggles, but we could not find it. We found multiple sets of velcro, which the hint says might have been from previous attempts, but a pretty extensive search of the nearby hidding spots didn't yield anything.
After a morning spent at the markets and the Bradman museum THENANKS from QLD saw the balls of steel! I'm glad this one had been replaced just in time for us....thanks!
Well I don't know about the listed requirements to grab the cache - our 9 year old geokid - FEMALE - grabbed this cache in 30 seconds. Once we figured out where it should be she had it so quickly. No one watches what kids are doing really. The log was signed and the cache returned by the same child who found it.
New cache is up.
This one is a little more camo'd (with silver tape) and uses a magnet instead of velcro.
If you're FTF and still think the current location is likely to be muggled, please feel free to find a better location somewhere on the same booth.

Looks like it's gone again, after such a short time too
I'll put together a new replacement as soon as I can.

2nd of 2 DNFs for the evening caching with Robmc and Chewinpickles from Victoria.
After strolling down the mall listening to piano music (the busker had brought in a full upright piano) we found GZ and the velco, but alas no cache.
The buildings provided great bounce for the sound (and satellites), and it was a very full sound coming from the piano.
Checking the log and seeing Disk's log, maybe we should've been searching for a new hide[?]
Until next time, cheers.

Great warning!!!
Found, but not where we were expecting .
Team needed to huddle in close to cover our activity (lots of muggles today), else quickly found.

Saw the logs for this, but wanted to check it out anyway, since we were in the area.
Not many people about this morning, so were able to have a good look - only saw velcro spots .
Must agree with Alansee on this one .

Two DNFs in a row means I should probably check this out.
Unfortunately I'm unlikely to be in the city again until the new year, so I'll check it out then and put together a replacement.

From the description I knew just where to look although it took me a moment to find the specific place! Once there, there were few muggles but enough, and a whole lot of shoelace-tying and the like were employed to no avail. After a little while I realised that I was looking at some empty velcro, and having already made a good search, think that this may indicate something bad!
Interesting find. Had a fair idea where it would be, needed some shielding to replace it after logging though - good thing I was here with Moneydork and tofska. After talking to the others when we got back, it sounds as though there might have actually been two different spots with velcro - not sure why. Cheers Gav [1607]
Yeah, we had better luck today. Maybe you guys timed it with another geocacher? Mega stealth for us returning it as a security guard turned up just meters away.

Spotted some velcro dots and gave up the search, seemed we should have looked harder as some other members of the team found it a few days later.
Second visit here, and being quieter it wasn't hard to make a quick subtle grab, once I had a strong idea of where it was. TFTF.
Yes Da Frizz has the balls!..........just. Picked this up at 11am Monday so a fair bit of muggle action to say the least! 4 contractors standing within 3 metres of GZ were non the wiser (I think). TFTC
Has Butterfly got the balls? Well you decide, but she sure has greater antenna for this cache.
Interesting art work.

This cache has been on the radar for a while and I wasn't prepapred to try it during a lunch-time stroll, although I had scouted GZ and was confident of the location.
At 8:00am on a Sunday morning the mall should be empty and should make this an easy find sign and replace, at least that was my theory for rising early and riding into the city.
How wrong can you be?[:(!] There were people everywhere, especially at GZ. Workmen were busy bringing Santa to town and setting him in place ready for the christmas season.
Walking towards GZ I was thinking the morning would be wasted and the cache unretrievable. How wrong can you be? Observation revealed that all eyes were on the work men and Santa!!
Cache was easliy found and retrieved under the noses of many distracted muggles. Given the set-up at the time of the visit and the big distraction on offer the difficulty rating was 1. Sometimes you just get lucky.

This was a bold hide and one that I was able to make without too much trouble today. Thanks.
For cache #300, I figured answering the question was a good way to celebrate. Also doing a personal coin log to mark the event.
It helps to have recurring shoelace issues when going for this one . The street was quiet as the sun was going down, so was able to grab the find and move on without any muggle issues. I could see that this would be a major issue during normal hours. Thanks for placing a challenging urban cache. Cheers.

found at 2:30pm with my mum easy take but hard to replace cause a muggle was standing right next to the place it belongs

Time to kill b4 a specialist visit..No GPS on hand but we thought how many places can it be? Hmmm we reckon...... Yep we were right....
Great cameo....Just wondering...all those security camera signs in the mall....A result of suspisious looking geo cachers wandering around looking in odd places [?][?] Our 199th!!
Hope your seeking is muggle free.....would certainly make it easier with this one.

B-Team find while in town for a little caching and lots of work - need to adjust the balance! Found the objects in question, but took a little more time to find the cache. Certainly a good one to attempt after closing time to minimise the external interuptions. TNLN Good Luck!
we decided GPS was not necessary after reading the logs. tried twice in day while shopping, checked with Gozling... yep on the right track back closer towards 9pm... bingo. was very proud of my very pregnant wife, since she hates muggle friendly micro hides! [^]
Thought best to tackle this one on a Sunday morning. Nice and easy and logged quickly and replaced.

Had some time to kill in the city but we didn't have our GPSr with us. Umm, where would a cacher hide a cache near here? Tried a couple of spots with no luck, then the next spot, aha, there it is! Luck was on our side as we had had not intention of caching today.
My they are big kahunas!

Noticed that Herbert Flugelman's 'Spheres' were back from the cleaner so couldn't resist grabbing this one.
It also filled in a little time while we waited for the jeweler just metres from GZ to open so we could pick up our wedding rings for next weekend 07-07-07.
Thanks Molokov.

Good hide. Stigglepot had more balls than I did as there was a lot of muggles around. Don't think we were spotted thankfully. Found this one on our fleeting visit to Adelaide from Brisbane. TFTC

MMM after spending some time scouting new locations for cache hides in this wonderful city of churches, we went looking for some caches.(keep an eye open for some new caches from flipper&co coming soon)
We had no problems with a "sat lock" today as we didn't need it to find these "JATZ CRACKERS" ( we found this one while walking thru the location and remembered that we'd seen this cache on the net, with a little bit of searching and after a quick call to ET we soon had the prize in hand)
nice hide.

Found on DreadedWeasel's recommendation. Walking through the mall at 2am meant no prying eyes.
This one wasn't embarassing!!!!! Ohwell thats what its all about!! Thanks for the cache!!
Well, the balls have just been replaced and are looking very speccy with their fancy blue lights around them. The mall at night is much easier to find things in than in the daytime. No one but our group in sight. We did wonder how much shows on the nearby security cameras though. Cheeky hide which we very much enjoyed. TFTC
Wow - aren't the balls looking grand? Found this on with the geohubby wondering if I had gone completely mad after looking at a few locations. TFTC.
Found while wandering the Mall late at night. The balls have just been returned and looking very shiney indeed. TFTC
Found it, but man, you do gotta have balls for this one! Felt like I was carrying out a drug drop on this one, trying to be inconspicuous, but devious, in obtaining it - hid it up my sleeve whilst I walked away to sit down and read, and then of course the difficult return. Glad I had lots of shopping bags with me and needed to bend over to sort them out! TFTC
Quick early morning find, took a little bit longer to return it coz I had to wait for a delivery man to move on. TNLNSL
A new cache is in place now. The velcros are a red herring, but the descriptions and clues are still valid. You will definitely need your own pencil. It's tucked away a bit better now and the difficulty rating is still about right. Happy hunting!
New cache is in place.
ds-fifty's generousity is noted, but I'd prepared a replacement already. After a quick check and finding his fancy new one, I gave it a bit of thought and have instead placed my replacement in the cache location.
It is not *exactly* in the same place, but very very closeby.
In case this one goes missing soon... I already have another backup thanks to ds-fifty!

Spent far too long trying to find this. I found the empty velcros, but the last two logs kept me going. I finally worked out how to decrypt ROT2 and it just confirmed that is gone. I'll eat humble pie if I'm wrong!
But then again, I'm often in the mall! When the balls are back they will match what it took to hide it there!

Yup, this is definitely missing. Replacement should be available sometime soon. Trying to think of a slightly better hiding place still in the same location... I suspect too many muggles find it by accident and it only takes one to remove & discard to spoil it for everyone
Still definitely there, wardpa. I checked today (11/5).
Earlier this week I moved it back to its original location (see the double-decrypted extra hint for details) as it appeared to have migrated over a spot...
But all looks OK at the moment, have fun with the cache while the Balls have gone for a polish...

Rated: for Overall Experience
Nice quiet day in the Mall. We didn't have the balls though, They've been taken away for a polish. Who would have thought in this era of mobile phones, that all four of them would be in use.
Grabbed this cache after the pub lunch event and then went for a coffee nearby. The spot we needed was vacated just as we walked up so the find went smoothly and with stealth. Good to see a cache at this spot even if balls are temporarily absent.
Well at least some of us still have the balls - oh well, I'm told there's nothing quite like a good spit and polish out of sight - TFTC
Of course we have, but the mall hasnt any more. Sad really to be emasculated so suddenly and completely by a cruel twist of fates blade. Apparently they have been removed for cleaning. Normally one would think that the usual lick and a promise with balls insitu would suffice. Obviously the balls must have been pretty dirty as they have been taken off for a good oldfashioned spit and polish. Hopefully they will be back bigger and brighter than ever giving pleasure to all as before soon.

Found at 1410 after a short walk down the mall. There was hardly anyone around so we had the cache in less than a minute. This was our second city micro for the afternoon. Whilst ranger baby was entertaining some muggles ranger 2 replaced the cache. Thanks Molokov
4 of 12 FTD at 8.45am. Hardly anyone around on a Public holiday so found and SL quickly. Thanks
Ahh - easy one, especially with some help to cover for the muggles. Getting it was quite easy, returning it, another story as there were muggles everywhere. Hmm, a good one to practice stealth.

Mysteriously I found it this time! It was in the spot I looked last time, so it was definitely gone for a while before someone returned it. spooky! good that it's back though.
Dude! You are starting to believe your own obfuscation! I'd seen the notification that this one was offline, so I had an idle look while I was in the mall today... and it was there! No idea what happened to it in the meantime, maybe a quantum uncertainty thing.
Well it appears (thanks to winterdragon) that the cache is still there... perhaps my friends weren't searching hard enough and found the wrong bits of velcro....
I will run past at some stage this week to double check, but for the moment, we'll keep the cache active.
EDIT: Checked today (6 March) and it's still there. Thanks, winterdragon.

Was out riding/caching with friends penguin_tummy, fishburn and jaiburn today so they decided they'd try to find my cache - no such luck, velcro was found, but it appears to have been muggled again.
This sucks, considering the last find was only 2 days ago.
It may be a while before the next replacement, I need to get
some bits and pieces together.

Thirty-fourth of 128 finds on "The Big Adelaide Assault" in company with acts2youthgroup and HawMorFords. No people, no traffic, but still no parking at this time of the morning. TomTom sent us up a small alleyway that we still think it was legal for us to navigate (there were no 'do not enter' signs, anyway), and we were able to drive to within 50m or so of the cache. I had logged "Man of Steel" previously, and have duplicated it back home with "Lois Lane's Boyfriend", so we knew exactly where to look. We found it at 0459. I made no exchange. Thanks to Molokov for the cache. Cheers, dak.

Was at Borders with my mother, who is over here for the week, and I casually mentioned that I thought there was a cache right outside, and that I should come back for it one night. She wouldn't hear of it, so we had to do it in the middle of the day, as per the description. So she rode shotgun, making phone calls to throw off the muggles, while I casually leant on the shelf next to her. Two phone calls later, and we were all done. Thanks for a gutsy cache, assuming it really does exist
Wasnt sure if I had found it or not when I found it, but then I opened it and it appeared right in front of my eyes. Loved the label so we took one, TFTC. MODU.
Found it late at night with Dylanja, logged it 4 months later, very sad to see that it's gone again at the moment...
Easy task after 11pm! Still a few people out, but not busy enough to disturb us. TFTC
Ok folks, new cache is in place - and marked with a label that should hopefully confuse muggles enough to leave the thing where it is.
When hiding this cache again after your visit, please try and place it as far back as it can go whilst still 'sticky', as hopefully this will keep it a little further out of sight.
First few visitors again can feel free to take one of the labels supplied within the tin, to negate the existence of anything else they own.

On Australia Day, we thought Rundle Mall was about as quiet as it was likely to get. Got to GZ to find it in use!!! After she departed, we were again dumbstruck when a pair of cleaners arrived and commenced scrubbing it thoroughly – in preparation for surgery, it would seem. They were doing a sterling job and I though that cache would be discovered any second. Decided to make a pre-emptive strike and approached them and asked if they’d found anything that shouldn’t have been there? They hadn’t, and as I retrieved it, they showed an interest in the whole thing and I went on to explain the basics of the game. Chatting to them about ‘treasure hunting’ as they completed their task provided the perfect cover and kept everyone else away . They were happy to leave it there and departed soon after.
A hard cache made easy. Cheers Molokov

After our second visit and exhausting the coin dropping technique, finally managed to find this one despite the muggles streaming past. Managed to drop it while trying to return it to its hiding spot, but fortunately no muggles were paying much attention to us. Thought it was amusing that a muggle had inadvertently been very close to discovering it, judging by the chewing gum placed about a centimetre from the cache!
