Could not find it either. Maybe you should read the logs before you drive to a cache? As it has not been found for nearly a year and the maintenance note is over 4 months old it should be archived.
At least I know why we couldn't find it now. Time for a check on this one please.
Don't know where the cache is but GZ is such a dump that you'd need a trailer to remove some of the rubbish including metal car panel plus other goodies. Yuk! Quiet beach, even with a school group scattered along the beach gathering info. Would really like to know if cache is still there or not.
Couldn't locate this one today. Might pay to check it as we think we had a pretty good look.
#287 (2/5 in a late afternoon sweep in the Woodend area). Found with Troodles. Easy find on a deserted beah (not popular at 4PM on a cloudy July day). Had to be careful to avoid the dog crap within a few inches of the cache (at least I hope that is what it was).

Interesting spot and a busy area even at 7.30pm. This one was make easier than we made it to be. No need to dig the sand away after all.....
Thanks

This is our last overnight stay in NZ. Made my last caching trip along three caches in this area.
Walking on this beach with it's dunes and pine forest, it's almost as if I'm back in NL already.

A quick dash to no avail - many muggles about, then lunch, then a walk with the dogs and another search. Easy find this time. TFTC
We had a lovely walk to the beach and played in the sea. Only two other families out here today playing around. I was thinking the cache was in a trickier spot that it was, so went to a lot of extra trouble. Dear oh dear, one day I'll learn... TNLN Thanks
#1100 Another century bites the dust!! Shame that the structure was so delapidated. Box was in the open so covered better with the available grass. TNLN DS8300
found the cache in about 2 seconds there were so many muggles down there for a nasty day we hid behind some flax bushes and filled in the log book

3rd cache today, after "End Of The Grange" figured this was nearby so drove out to the Beach, soon spotted likely location. Muggle density low today due to cloud cover, so cache was easily retrieved. ( Actually was located and quickly dropped by daughter Karen when a "huge" 3mm spider ran accross the lid of the cache ! ) TNLN TFTC !
Mugger free when I arived had the place to myself, nice spot can imagine it gets very popular TFTC
Very nice spot. Our kids enjoyed the nearby playground. Pinned the site quickly but had to think & look twice to find. A few muggles around. -UK Photo Explorer#2 TB +tatoos

A quick walk out to this one on a pleasant day too. Found easily enough with only a few muggles around. Glad we did it in winter and not in the height of summer. TNLN Cheers!
Glorious day with views down to the snow on the Banks Peninsula. Loved the Tardis graffiti. Dropped off an English TB that want's to find a church! Can't say we were very helpful in it's mission today.
Neat spot! Very cold today - there was solid ice on the ground nearby - even at 3 in the afternoon. +Photo Explorer TB.
Thanks.
Thanks.
As I was in the area, I thought I might do this one. Lovely day to be on the beach. Plenty of Muggles. Weird hiding place. I too wonder what it was...
Nice easy find - a lovely day for a stroll along the beach.

Another local cache, that was just a bike ride away, but had remained undone for far too long. A easy find, on a nice autumn day, and only a few muggles on the beach. Thanks markanddeb. Took: 50cents Left: Aeroplane.
Up early and watched a magnificient sunrise from the beach. Good spot and found after a few minutes searching.
Many thanks.

An excellent excuse for a stroll along the beach on a very warm Canterbury evening. The light was fading but finally found in the last possible place. Thanks, great spot!
Found this easily without the GPS unit, found the batteries were flat when we got here! Went solely off the clue. Heaps of muggles, but no-one took, much of us as they walked past. Beautiful warm day. Got a beesting while looking for the cache.

Second to last cache on a lovely evening, and the beach was a good place to enjoy the slowly setting sun. Wasn't able to find it immediately because of muggles, but once they had disappeared it was an easy find. Cheers Gav [1087]
Called in here on our way north on a weeks camping holiday. It looks like summer is back today, it must have been about 30oC at the beach There were heaps of muggles around but all of them were either in the water or watchin' their kids playin' so the cache was easily retrived and replaced without being "Busted". It is a shame about the trash at GZ, some yahoos have been using the building near as a rubbish bin! [:(!] The junior team members went for paddle after doing the cache. TFTC

Second time at the beach today. There seems to be a lot of litter about this spot, including 20 litres of old oil. TNLN.
Nice location.
Stopped here and had fish and chips for lunch (about 3:30pm).

The sound of the sea and the breeze in the pines stirred faint memories of camping in the nearby camping ground as a child. I don't think I have been here since then. There were a few muggles on the beach none brave enough to swim on a grey overcast day. There was a fishing boat close to shore. Took TB and left a badge.
1318. This was a good spot. It was quite overcast with a hint of rain but there were quite a few muggles in the area.
We left a Unite for Diabetes TB.
Thanks

As I was out that way looking at two churches, I dropped in to this one as well - no, actually I raced for the FTF first of course!! An easy find - and not a beach bunny in sight.
No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf(746)

An easy first cache on today's 66km cycle caching tour of North Canterbury. Arrived at 11.20am to find that I had been beaten again by Grandalf. More lifeguards present (3) than swimmers or surfers (none). TNLN. Off now to Woodend's first multicache.
