Spring Victorian Incursion 2024.Day Six: Merri-bek (which ProjectGC is still calling Moreland at this point).Weather: the wind was back briefly, but generally a great day.My hopes for this one were starting to fade as clearly somebody had been collecting wood to build a humpy (see photo), and thats when caches disappear. But no, its still there, the disguise serving it well.Thanks for the cache and series Alsume.

Found the other day while visiting my son in Pascoe Vale I have a few but will be back for more TFTC

A need for a walk despite the forecast of some showers saw me travel up to Pascoe Vale for some caching by Merri Creek and its surrounds. I had been keeping a number of these caches for finding during one of GS' promotions in which they assign slightly more points to caches with 10+ favourite points but the need for a walk overrode those considerations. I've always liked caching by creeks - no cars nearby for most of the walk, plenty of vegetation and the babbling sounds of water flowing over the creek bed. Very restful and calming.My logs will include this standard blurb and then a comment or two about each cache separated from this blurb by a dividing line. Many thanks to Alsume and Team Justice for the caches found during this walk. ----An excellent bit of camo here as well. Much like Pascoe Pedal #2, I found it more as a matter of checking various natural features rather than spotting a tell-tale hint of a cache. Luckily timed between muggles as on my return trip, 3 dog-walking muggle couples were just across the path at this various spot, catching up with each other as their dogs frolicked. Additionally, it isn't everyday that one comes across an urban cache which was placed in the naughts and has been kept alive by the efforts of its CO. Well done on keeping this one going.

I was just on a walk and sadly I found the cash but I did not have a pen and I can’t prove it but it was attached to a log I am kind of embarrassed but this cash took 39 I know it was not long but I have adhd soooooo

Found a whole lot of rubbish, including a wire structure (?) and a couple of used dog poop bags. Unfortunately no cache! Will try again next time...

A day out on the scooters with hergab69, her muggle hubby and spiffy~.
After a bit of wandering around in circles checking up and down every tree, I finally spotted this one but couldn’t reach it through the bunch of trunks so guided hergab to it to do the signing duties. Great camo!

Found at 10:40 am.
OzHockeyChick had the new scooter to try out so we headed over this way with hergab69 and muggle hubby (who came in extremely handy) to a patch a caches that none of us had found and that were also bike path friendly.
Good camo again here, took us a few minutes to find.

Had to read the activity log to try and narrow down potential locations. After realising all the geo kids seem to find it before us big kids, we had the cache in hand! Cheeky little hide, TFTC!

Keep searching, it's a little off from the GPS but eventually It sticks out when you see it!
