As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
With Barcooat 1500. The cache had been trashed, probably not long before our visit- there were pages from log book and ziplock bag around the area. Whoever was responsible replaced the container and covered with rocks. Pity they don't have better things to do.
with Hawk; found cache at 1500 - trashed by some low life dirtbag; Found pages from log book and ziplock bag around the area. Whoever was responsible replaced the container and covered with rocks.
Anyway we enjoyed the walk and regardless TFTC.

Another caching trip to Canberra with The Mountain Goat.
Wow this area sure is flash!
We parked at street level for this one and found a park only 160m, straight up! There was some strange parking restrictions here, does anyone know what happens on a Tuesday???
A great spot and it looks like some local kids have set themselves up with a BMX track with million dollar views.
A relatively easy find but thanks for bringing us up here Davico.

Found with Big Matt & Shell, great views from up here but it beats me why Canberrians build all their houses down in the valleys when the scenery is much nicer from the hilltops? Also I thought Big Matt was going to post some coords of where we parked but I guess not? Anyway, great cache, great location! TNLNSL but discovered the TB as Matt retrieved it, thanks davico!
Have ridden and run and walked up here probably 100+ times in the last 15 years, before Gordon even existed.
Rode ALL THE WAY up the road, steep, by golly, but easily conquered.
As before, and as usual, the views are always great. Thanks for another reason to visit here, and yes, the other cache of two years ago was only 30 or so metres away.
Swapped TB's, took GC coins.
Then, a short ride south along the track, and a big Coooeeeeeeee down the other end.

413. Quick find on the way to Tharwa. I was a bit worried when we approached due to the obvious fire activity around the area. Everything was okay though and the views of the building (hopefully rain-)clouds were encouraging. TN left 2X GC.

Last time I was here I found that the other nearby cache location was empty, nice to see a new one taking over.
It was very thoughtfull to provide a light for us evening cachers, I've got to bring some decent swaps around as theres some nice stuff in there.
Anyhow Took a TB and left a TB TFTC TTFN.

Ah yes, I remember the cache that was up here before. - But I forgot how to get here! - Managed to find an access spot fairly easily in the end. After that, a short brisk climb had me taking in all the views! Not long after that, I found the cache, and signed the log. Also left Snooper TB. Thanks for a great first cache davico!
There was a cache near here long ago. Placed 2004, archived due to missing cache April 2006
