Found after quite a search around knowing the co-ords weren't great. The container lid is cracked but the contents are dry for now. We give the triton a workout on a couple of the little hill climbs nearby when we were done - goodfun. Thanks for bringing us here Qld panther
Made my way up most of the track in my trusty Magna, and walked the remainder. Nice views from the top. I found the cache after casting around for a while - my GPS coords were way off! The cache was a bit exposed but in good condition. I signed the log and poked the cache back under it's cover. TFTC Qld-panther
Found this one while staying in the area.
The co-ords are way off, but looked in the obvious places
Cheers and thanks for the cache

Found today after a bit of a pointer from sentinel_maximus , interesting little place here. TFTC
Been and checked on this one and it s in the correct position so am re-enableing it
Umm going by those co-ordinates as I put them into google earth pro. They are approx 800m from the gz so not sure what you have found but I will be dis-ableing this cache until I check it out
Second Time Lucky. The track is pretty washed out so we decided not to risk the car all the way up to the water tower and walked there instead. Great views up there but the cache is nowhere near the water tower. In fact the cordinates are not accurate either. We found GZ mentioned on this page, no cache. There seemed to be some likely places nearby, so, after much searching, we found the cache. To save some time, the following co-ords. will bring you much closer. S 23° 57.501 E 151° 22.303. T.N.L.N. Thank you Qld panther for the cache.
Oh Dear. It looks like we accidently stirred up a hornet's nest. We first attempted to find this cache on the 11th September 2009 but couldn't find it. It turned out we were pretty close. After our first failed attempt, we looked through the logs and found that "The Jack Russell" and "Rottenwood" had also found the cache and they both mentioned that the cache was some distance from the coordinates. In fact, Rottenwood placed alternative coordinates in the log and we used them as well as the original coordinates today. The GPS today at the base of the water tower was telling us that the original GZ was 76metres away. The original GZ is just off the dirt track about 11m away from where the cache is now hidden. We can tell you that the cache container is a plastic systema container with a log book and pencil inside a plastic bag and an unidentifiable plastic part from we think was a toy. There is nothing else inside the cache container. The clue that says, "Care is required when retrieving and replacing the cache as you will see when you find it." is spot on. One does need to take care. We can't say anymore about the location as it would give it away. We took a waypoint reading straight after we found the cache and discovered that it was very close to the coordinates that Rottenwood had posted on the log sheet. We thank you Qld panther for taking the time to clear this up. We 're certain that we found the right cache and we have signed the logbook to prove it.
Ok Both logged sets of co-ordinates are within 12 metres of Original GZ. Will have to get out and check that A: the cache is in it's original position and B: check the co-ords with my new garmin. Hopefully this will then clear any confusion. I did however notice when I placed this cache that there seemed to be a bit of trouble getting a lock on position and it was a case of approaching the selected GZ from about a dozen different directions to get the position as close as possible.
Had a good search for this but no go. Don't know if we were cached out or sick of looking through rubbish.
Another rental car bounces to the top! Found this one, nicely hidden some distance from GZ. TFTH!
You do not need 4x4 for this one. My rental car bounced its way to the top and back no problem (rental cars are bullet proof).
It seemed the coordinates were off some meters. I attache where I found it.
I took the Ben 10 TB.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 6pm, in the dark. Without torches we would never have found this cache it was so late and dark. It wasn't a difficult walk in from the road to GZ. In: TB Ben's Out: TB Mojo TFTC
This was the third time we have been out in search of this one. Finally found it at 2.25pm. Not sure how we missed it on our earlier attempts. Our GPSrs consistently took us to a spot a few metres away from GZ. Lovely view from up near the water tower.

After eating a fine meal at the nearby Tannum Sands bar/grill OzMeg and I wandered over here to give this cache a go. (The rest were playing the pokies so I though we had time for a leisurely 2km round-trip walk.) We searched for maybe ten minutes when the Range Rover with the rest of the crew appeared. Had we had more time maybe we could have found it. Oh well...
I was down in Gladstone with Temingi for the day doing a bit of caching. Temingi drove me up there and sat back and watched while I found it. He had done this one before. Did a bit of searching but was not really hard to find.

Being someone that doesn't like snakes, I hate caches like this, nonetheless found so don't have to go back. tnlnsl
nearly gave up on this one, but one last proper look and geo_muppet and i found the prize. TFTC TNLNSL
Drove trusty Forester all the way up, and started to search GZ and surrounding area. Unfortunately, geomum and I had to abandon before making the find as we could hear muggles on motorbikes coming close, and we were feeling a little uneasy about the location. We will be back on our next trip to Gladstone!
2nd attempt at this one
mmm .. I am sure we looked here last time ... no matter got a score this time & scratched that DNF. TFTC

Great spot found this one easily took the geofather-inlaw for first cache and he found this one for us . I love the fact that when traveling we get to go off the beaten track. TFTC
Gingerly looked around the obvious area and success was ours after a short search. Thanks Qld_panther

Went on a Tannum spree while Kat was still at work... and FINALLY I was on FIRE!!! Found this after several DNF's on this one!! Felt good to finally get it!! I did, however, spend another 20 mins of my life looking. All up, I probably spent 2 hours on this one... and now that I know where it is, I am kicking myself!! Great one Panther. Oh, I i took the geocoin to move along.... felt I deserved it after all that
Dropped in to check on this cache. Was a little worried when surrounding area has changed slightly but still in its correct hiding spot.
OK - didn't manage to put my hands on this one ...
looked and looked - but maybe I just over looked it [:o)]
I'll be back ...

Our 1st find for the day and it was a nice easy one. TNLNSL Thanks for the cache.
It really does help if you read the page properly. I did, eventually. 3rd FTF for the day without my GPS. It would be much easier with one. Dropped in TB Vincent the Bunny, didnt take the coin as it has already been in my possession.
Thanks for the cache Panther.
