Today we have had a big caching trip to Port Sorrel looking for as many caches as we could find in my quest to get to our next milestone by the end of November. Weve got no chance but definitely have no chance if we dont even try. As most caches required shanks pony our numbers were limited to around 30 finds for the day along with 3 dnf. Our primary focus to begin with was the 4 low tide caches all of which were successfully found. We then spent a while at Squeaking Point before a walk along the main trail near Hawley Beach. Thanks mainly to Spreyton and Angus88 for the bulk of our finds and of course to all the other hiders for adding enjoyment to our day. I walked 20,000 steps and 15km.Found exactly where hint said. TFTC
We always enjoy a stroll through this park and now time to collect some cosmic energy points hereTFTC
After wearing GeoCleo out walking, swimming and running around the coastline finding all the Squeaking Point Track caches, I left her to have a nap in the back of the Ute while I wandered off into the bush to find these caches.TFTC Spreyton22Keep smiling

###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by Spreyton22 and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

While visiting the area today we targeted the caches in the conservation area here.
It was an enjoyable bushwalk and didn't take too long to get around them all.
Unfortunately after a lengthy search around the area we couldn't find the cache.
If it's there we'll have another go if we come back again.

Sadly it's a blue face had a reasonable search with geosis but coords didn't match
Unfortunately no luck on this last one looked around all the stumps but nothing spotted.

For some reason we struggled to find anything nearby relating to the clue. Not sure what we did wrong but after a good search we decided to move on
Not on the stump i originally thought the cache would be on, but after a little bushbash i located the cache. Contents of the cache was dry. Tftc
Last cache of the run, never been through this reserve before though it seems popular with locals, thanks for bringing us here.
After aborting the search fora couple of caches whilst in Launceston earlier this week, we needed to satisfy the urge to collect caches somewhere somehow. The GeoApp was doing stupid things in L'ton, and continued to do so here as well. So flying blind with just the map working, we managed this old robtas hide, and three others in the area before retiring to the Trend Shed for coffees. Thanks for taking over this one Spreyton22 and keeping it in play.
Found with Lil Rafa and the geogsp. Staying in Port Sorell for a couple of days. Haven't been to Squeaking Point before. TFTC TNLN log dry.
Thanks for the cache robtas
Staying in Port Sorell for a couple of days with RLD4963 and the GeoGSP. Today it was a little bit overcast but not cold, so we made our way to Squeaking Point to find some caches.
this little reserve was a lovely area to walk through this morning - lots of birds around and the occasional hopping macropod.
A nice quick find at GZ.

Out for the with gridge98, managed to find 10 for the day, nice easy find, tftc
We definitely made tough work of this one, we tried to approach from the west and bush bashed our way in but it got too thick so back around and the approach from the east was much easier with it only being 20m from the track, cache was then easily found and is all good.
Today JLROCKSTAR and I went for a morning drove to port Sorell and Hawley beach to clean up the new caches in the area and some that I missed last time I was here, total of 10 finds for the morning and 1 DNF

Find #4632. Found @ 16:40 with The Good Lady Wife
We're on a family holiday to the Apple Isle and what better activity to do as a family than find some caches... except that the rest of the family aren't really into caching. Oh well, at least TGLW comes along for the walks.
TGLW and I went out to look around the area, and came here to find the caches. We parked on the eastern side of the park and walked around the area. This was the second one we went to on the way back to the car, sort of. There was a bit of a scratchy bush bash for the last little bit, but the cache was found easily enough.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache robtas

That was a tricky one! Took a while to find the right track. When we found the fallen tree it was obscured well under the tree.

Before heading to Devonport for the day, there were a couple of nearby caches to check out including this one, particularly as we found PSCR #1 way back in 2007, when our caching adventures had just begun. A Golden Oldie!
Thanks to 'robtas' for keeping this cache on the geo-gameboard.

Camped at Devonport for aw few day, in Port Sorrell for a few caches today, took a few minutes till I sport it at different angle.TFTC
A great day out with JL Rockstar today to collect some caches around the Devonport/meander region. The main goal was to attend the event in Devonport for a very important 75th birthday.
Overall we found a total of 45 finds with 2 DNFs along the way.
One of the DNFs for the day! No luck in the thick scrub

Shorts and sandals are probably not the best attire here, but TaurusSix and me found the cache.
Our last day enjoying this area before a week on the east coast. Some last minute sightseeing and caching and sunshine before the forecast rain. It looks like the fire just brushed past the cache. Thanks for your cache placement.
Tasmania Trip Day 6 We headed to this after seeing the birds and travelling to our original location that was supose to be our destination however we did not make that as time began to be our nemisis as we went to the libary today and got caught up on our logging. This is the way it happens when you travel you have to do bulk entries at libaries or spend more on data than you really want to.
The walk to this cache was a little bushy and not quite as easy as its sister cache however an easy find was had at GZ with some very nice coordinates very accurate. (well it was for us)
Thanks robtas for placing this cache for us to find today.

Out for our second day of hunting for Hidden Creatures, we chose to search for the new and old releases in the Devonport, Port Sorell, Latrobe & Spreyton area's.
Well now we are onto a big search for the Dragon, cannot see anything.
Days total 21 - 21

It was easy to find the track into the Prickly Scratchy Conservation Reserve from Squeaking Point
And the trail to Port Sorell took me within 80 metres of GZ
I scouted around for any sign of a trail to take me closer.
Hmmm !! Nothing !!
So off I headed into the really thick,
really scratchy,
really prickly bush to cover the last 80 metres
GZ was reached about 15 minutes later !!
A likely hiding spot kindly presented itself.
And as it turns out,
I missed seeing the cache hidden there
So an hilarious 20 minutes later of checking a few other likely spots,
getting scratched and prickled,
and finding a perfectly good walking track 20 metres from GZ,
I checked me original GZ and found the cache
I shouldn't read previous cache finder's logs for some caches.
They just give me bad ideas ...
... like taking short cuts though terrain 4 territory to reach a 1.5 terrain rated cache
Live 'n' learn ??
Nah !! I'll do it again one day

Ouch ouch ouch!!!
Got scratches all over our legs
20 m into the bush! Goodness!
Nearly gave up but then boom! It was there
Loved it all the rest though

I got up early today to head and find these caches before breakfast, I parked up a nearest access path and after a short walk in a great little area I soon had the cache in hand and added my name to the log, it was nice to get our and grab these and start my day off with a bit of caching.
It was nice to get back to shearwater and get a good coffee and a bite to eat after getting these.
Thanks for the cache.

After locating # 1, did some bush bashing 'as the crow flies' to # 2. It could have been one heck of a lot easier if I were familiar with the tracks through the area. Enjoyed the trek, lovely but of bush.. thanks..!!
Loved this one. It was a great walk on a beautiful day and the tracks are well made
Travelling around Australia and now in Tasmania!
Headed out from Loira to continue our pursuit of the Octagon series.
Great rich soil in this area and so many farmers hard at work.
In this area for lunch we decided to tackle this one. Seems that the area has changed considerably since the cache was placed. Its quite difficult to locate the access points to this reserve so we have taken some waypoints to try and help others.
Once into the area a nice walk and cache located.

Well hidden cache! Went for a good bush bash before I actually found the track! Ha
Found the spot but didn't want to venture too deep without proper pants and footwear. Went and got Dad to help and he found it, as well as a snake, so we were right to be cautious. Left a baby moisturiser, took a pencil sharpener
Enjoyed this walk in the bush to make an easy find exactly where my GPS said I should look I love the way caching introduces you to,areas you would. Ever otherwise know about TFTC robtas
fourxplore have officially begun geocaching with this little beauty. Gorgeous walk. Wasn't where we first though searched off the track a bit to find it. Took the elephant (cute) and left an easter egg.
Tftc. Found it nice and easy. Swapped the green led torch or an elephant key ring clasp.
