Have replaced this cache several times so admit defeat now and will put it to bed forever.
Found gz alright. Looked between trees. No cache. There was a hollow in the ground cache sized. Found plastic octopus which looked like a swap. Think it's gone tftc
Great little park. Passed by some muggles with their children making sand angels - had to smile. Did the required - tied my shoe lace, sat amongst the ants and had a drink, signed the log and acted like a tree. TFTC
Nice and simple find among the debris and the ants. At least these ants didn't bite this time.
Thanks. Gz was exposed. Dug a little hole in the soil to get the lid only at ground level. Lots or bark & leaves. Tsls SL Tftc jumbucks 10 December 2011 2:11pm
Right so I set out to find this one at night only to be chased back to the car because plovers were guarding their babies... I stayed in car with sleeping Daughter and let the other aussiegirl do it she found it TFTC and the scary plovers!!
You've gotta love a cache that has council backing... Now, I can hear Madmyers saying, what makes Gunnie think the cache is so special it has council backing... [?] Well, the fact that the last log in the book is signed "Redland Bay City Council" and they even left a council wristband for good measure... Now that is pretty cool right... Not only did they discover the cache then tuck it back into its den, but they signed the log to say they had been there... Nice council men... [^] See attached pic of the log...
So, I obviously found the cache as I was grabbing a few in this area and had Svn07 with me for company. She thought it highliy amusing that the council had dropped in their own swap...
Cheers Madmyers.

Oops, after all the excitement of the Council visit, I forgot to drop the TB I left here...
Quick find on a day of caching in the area. We seemed to have found a few Bayside Spelling Bees today and dutifully took down the relevant information. Discoverd Sniff me TB but left him for the next cacher to move on. TFTC
TFTC. It was a nice sunny Sunday arvo but the park only contained a few muggles and a dog.
I took the shaver (unused I think) and replaced it with an octopus as there appeared to be a few other aquatic creatures is the cache.

Very pleased to find this one quickly as our first find today. Quickly in, quickly out. Many thanks for the cache. Took: toy car. Left: Gingerbread Geocoin. I hope this cache gets a visit soon as the gingerbread man needs to run, run, run, as fast as he can.........
The first of our Spelling Bee caches for this afternoon. Left an "R" for Ralph drink holder (looks like a singlet) and a nice new disposable Razor. TFTC
Only one family playing here today so no problem getting to the cache.
Thanks madmyers
Thanks madmyers
Found it at 1345 hours with fellow cacher. Beware of the muggles!! stealth mode is required for this one!! Took a witches hat and left a crab and lizard. TFTC.
Muggles were at the playground so I had to go into stealth mode. I tried to keep the trees between me and them and found the cache OK. Got clue. Me spellin's improvin' outa site - now for a bita diction trainin'. TFTC madmyers.
Found with holster and thehairbear at 1505hrs. The kids loved the park and it took a while to get them to leave.

Found at 0935 with Marg. Marg found this one, she is on a roll today. A quick find in a park that was surprisingly deserted when visited. The park had everything in it play ground BBQ dog area. Marg note it didn't have a toilet which thought would have been handy at the time. anyway the cach was OK and dry. TFTC.
Found a short time after Trekkin Trev. Park was deserted which was surprising on a Saturday. TFTC
Found with Smeeagain on a wet soggy day an easy find in this huge park becareful with the kids as the itchy grubs were massing on the tree next to the cache

A quick find this morning, before Geoson got sick and we had to cut our caching short for the day!

About a third the way through the Spelling Bee. This one seems to have "crept" around the tree a bit. Still well covered and I have left as is due to the itchy grub/ant nest it what I guess was its original spot. Thanks for helping my spelling madmyers - SVN07
No troubles here and we partook of a very nice lunch nearby too. Fresh rolls with chicken, cheese, tomatoes and other delicacies. Am I making your mouth water?
Thanks again
Thanks again
Twentieth for the day and cache one hundred and eighty-six on day seven of our Brisvegas trip, the cache was found at 1305 in the company of chewinprickles and robmc. We were sure that R was for rednecks or was that ratbags, we decided to stop and have lunch at this nice park. thanks madmyers for the cache.
R is for lunch - these letters are just not working out right
Nice park, and seeing it was empty, we stopped for a picnic lunch.
Thanks, Robmc.

Great park for the kids to play in while the Older Ksix crew searched for the cache. The cache did not quite match the clue, but it was stll found quite easily. TNLNSL.
Couple of boys were playing basketball. Walked past, saw cache, and came back after dark. TFTC
Getting darker, but that was good as it made it harder to see us looking for this cache. Played pine-cone soccer all the way over to it, found without trouble, though we suspect a little cache creep as it didn't quite match the clue I've just read! TFTC. ='.'=
Easy find and a quick grab as I walked past. There were muggles playing basketball but they weren't interested in me. TN/LN/SL and replaced it when the muggles had to chase a wayward ball.
What a lovely park this is. A few muggle kids were playing in the playground but didn't pay us much attention. Found the cache easily. TFTC!
I had the park to myself this morning! After finding the cache I took full advantage of the peace and quiet and enjoyed a well earned coffee
Cache dry and in good condition.
Thanks
Third of 8 caches for today. Some muggles were using the park when I showed up, but the park is big enough that it wasn't a big issue. The cache was well placed and didn't leave me feeling too conspicuous, and I was free to fill out the log in peace. TFTC!
Tried to walk in from Scribbles but seemed to end up on the wrong side of the estate fences. So in my case it was not found OK but just found - "R"edfaced.
At least I didn't have to dig up those itchy caterpillars,

Even though a kids birthday party was being held in the park I walked straight up and found this.

Found the cache, and the caterpillars! By today, most of them were dead, although there were still a few crawling, so we were careful to avoid them (dead or alive).
No swaps today, but spent quite a bit of time in this lovely park letting the GeoKid run off some energy in the great playground.
Thanks for the cache!

Found by Sunshine Toledo at 11:59am. This is a great neighbourhood park with all the facilities. TNLNSL TFTC
The original location is still unusable. Found it in the new location and replaced it there. TNLN.
Walked past some muggles in the play area. We did not cause too much interest. Had to navigate past a huge nest of those hairy grubs near the cache. TFTC TNLN

The GPS led us straight to the cache. Unfortunately, the cache spot was shared by a nest of hairy caterpillars - literally hundreds of them. I had removed a few pieces of bark before I saw them. I used a stick to get most of them away before retrieving the container. There must of been some hairs on the bark or cache box which then transferred to my hands and anywhere that I touched. I had no idea I was so allergic to the little buggers. I started itching almost straight away. I thought it was just my imagination till the lumps started coming up. I'm glad my wife was with us and could drive to the chemist for anti-histamine tablets and lotion. I was going crazy with the itching. If you are even slightly allergic to insect bites and stings, take some gloves for this one as there may still be hairs on the container. I had to put the cache back in a slightly different spot to avoid going back too close to them. Same co-ords but hint is now incorrect. Took dolphin. Left matchbox car. I'm just glad my 5 year old didn't get any on himself.

Not only the cache I found but spider web on top of it! Had to find the stick to wipe off the web..Ugh! Another nice surburban park I never knew! Thanks.
Found the cache at 7.10am. Nice park area. TNLNSL. Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.
With our brand new GPS we set off to begin a new day of caching - free of any dropouts under trees!!

Found okay, the park was deserted when I arrived, but as I logged a couple of kids jumped on the swings and another family arrived. I don't think they even noticed me. I covered the cache and surrounding area well and distributed bark in a lovely naturally strewn pattern. TNLN TFTC!
This was our 4th find of the night and #18 for the series.
There was a bit of paperwork and planning to catch up on when we pulled up here so Mrs HMF stayed in the car while I trotted across this fantastic park to grab the cache.
A nice easy find on a beautiful night - thanks to the madmyers for the cache.

This park was one of the ones we also had marked as a great cache hiding spot! [^] The geoboys played on the playground and Mumma NANKS went on the search. Another quick find! Yes, the grocery shopping will just have to wait another minute or two!
There were a few muggle kids and their mum also around the playground but they weren't interested in what I was doing.
The log before ours wasn't signed. It was a team who was just beaten here by "If". Looking now I see it was probably "AngerManagement".
OUT: bird whistler
IN : Lizard bookmark
Thanks Mentally Mad Myers

Gimme an 'Aaaargh'. Oops gimme an 'R' [:o]
That pirate had been here before me the scrury dog
Nice big park with plenty of privacy due to the sheer distance between GZ and the houses [^]
Got snuck up on by angermanagement who caught me with the cache in me paws
Then it was off to find the next letter in the alfabett

A great playground for the kids after a morning of caching. A nice easy find TFTC.
Hopped on line this morning and noticed all these new caches. With some not logged as being found. This one being less than 2k's from home, it was quick get changed and lets go. As we pulled up we saw this suspicious looking character and his bike. It was nice to meet If. After conferring with If as to which ones he hadn't done that hadn't had a FTF logged yet. So it was car versus bike off to I is for industrial.
Took dolphin, modeling clay and clip. Left army men, candle and something else.

This was my 10th of 23 finds for the night at 7:15pm.
TomTom had me driving up the wrong street, but just before that I drove past a lovely park and thought "that'd be a nice spot for a cache" - of course you can guess where the cache was hidden and I was soon back there after given TomTom a stern talking to.
The location of the cache was obvious to a geocacher and I had no trouble retrieving it. TFTC.
