This one is gone AGAIN - and it looks like there has been lots of muggle kid activity in this area over the last few months so we will admit defeat and archive this listing.
looked and looked but found nothing. looked in the obivous spot, the one with water and ants as per the previous logs but still nothing may need to be checked.
Location abit dodgy .. my GPS kept moving the location - under trees makes it difficult. Needs the owner to tidy up
Second DFN today..*groan*...
couldnt find it anywhere after 30 mins..
will come back next time with extra eyes.
thanks

Well the ants are gone - washed away - the whole hiding spot has been under water - well under water - but the good cache container held it's own - moved out a bit - but it was still in place. So it has been all dried out thoroughly - all cache contents replaced and the cache tucked inside another plastic bag - in an effort to deter the ants. Hope it's fine for another year or so now.
Found it on the way for a ride to minippi @ 0700.
Didn't log, as its in a bad way. Case had popped open and the ants have moved in, eggs and all. This cache badly needs maintenance, but otherwise a great location and the challenge of dodging muggles.

Entered into the book of LEDGIN'S. Quick find after a stroll through the park. Noted clue and signed new log. The other contents in the cache are pretty much written off. T4TC.
An easy find after a short stroll though the park. Grabbed the clue and popped in a new log book as discussed with the cache owners.
Thanks for the cache MadMeyers.
Thanks for the cache MadMeyers.
The MadMyers will shoot out to this one immediately after New Years to clean it out and perhaps shift it a little to avoid any future ant invasions. GrandDad says that means more rain is on the way - as all the ants are moving higher and higher - hmmm we will have to wait and see. This cache did have a waterproof covering - this has obviously disappeared - we will replace that as well.
Found container partially open and contents practically destroyed by a very happy family of ants. Sorry madmyers but this type of box is hardly appropriate for a Geocache container. Needs replacing ASAP.

UlaRoo, Biggles, Chip and Dale found themselves up the creek without the paddle today. Biggles led the way and found the cache without too much trouble. Had to stall for a while to let some non-believers pass. Nice area for a walk or ride!

Small detour on my tour of Coneli's Parks. Had searched for this pre-GPS - so much easier with!!! Great "container" although I did do a girly squeal and gave it a little fling when I nearly grabbed its guardian huntsman (and boy was she cranky). Can not put hand-on-heart that "no spider was injured in the signing of this log" as she did not want to get off and I had to give her a little push (with a stick). Anyway, signed log, returned to hiding spot and off again. Thanks madmyers - SVN07.
3rd find of 10 for us today.
Another quick simple find.
Just before the GZ, we came across another person, wearing a backpack and hiking boots, we thought we had stumbled on to another geocacher only to find this person duck down in the grass surrounding the nearby creek. A few moments later he popped up again, but this time we saw the camera in his hands (he was taking photos of the ducks etc in the local creek). No doubt he was wondering what we were up to, but that is the beauty of caching with the geokids... Once people see the geokids they tend not to notice you any more
Grabbed the clue and did a couple of small swaps.
Thanks for the hunt.
Cheers,
Ksix

Out caching the southside with gefscofix today in an attempt to get him his 500th cache - and all in one year!
Cache is nice and dry (due to some recent owner maintenance?) despite looking like it might have been danger of getting wet due to the recent rains. It's in the right kind of spot to avoid water damage though TFTC

We found the cache in pristine condition although we could see that the area had recently been flooded.
We found a tennis ball and a soccer ball nearby.

Wow here's a story for you all. The log where Vids resided got so covered in water it is now full of silt and dirt etc - the cache was gone. MrMad and I were scratching our heads a little at the evidence of the amount of water that has been through here when what do you know??? MrMad finds the cache amoungst the rubble. Amazing. Cache container fine - contents wet and yuckky!! So container refilled with good dry contents and replaced in a slightly higher vantage point this time. This should mean it might not get washed away the next time we get water through here. If you have a geohound have a look for a tennis ball amoungst the debris around you. We stopped collecting at 6 and left the others behind for everyone else. Obviously balls get thrown into the creek for the dogs and get lost!!

Could not access cache container as a snake had made a home of the hiding hole. It was slowly disappearing into the hole while I was taking the attached photo. This was my first snake encounter, and left me rather shaken. Can anyone identify if it is venomous?
I have contacted the owners.

I understood the name of the cache a bit too well and ended up scouring the entire area before coming up trumps. The a quick log and the cache was in the bag.

Gee haven't seen a case like that in ages. They would be antique now wouldn't they?
#26 of 32 finds in Brisbane on day one of a big weekend's caching, in company with The Garner Family and HawMorFords. I found this one at 2045. Found it after a short search. TGF seemed to remember the large stump being considerably taller; perhaps he has grown since then, and the stump no longer looks so imposing! I made no exchange. Thanks to madmyers for the cache. Cheers, dak.
On our 36km cycle tour we discovered one of my favorite things, movies. Thanks for the hide. TNLNSL
A nice walk in the early afternoon of a delightful winter's day. Didn't have the pushbike today, so had to hoof it which enhanced the experience a great deal. TFTC. TN/LN/SL

V for Victory.
Found it after I, too, ended up on the wrong side of the creek. Must be using the same map as The Nanks.
It wasn't in the first place I looked, almost skinned my legs looking there. The next place gave me the V sign.
Dropped off Moosie's Jakalope TB and took the Sheriff Car TB.

Found at 6:10pm. Easy find. Geokid got it first go. Like one of the others, I blindly followed the GPSr and found myself on the wrong side of the creek to begin with! Geodogs enjoyed the walk.
Out: china geocoin and glo-stick

TFTC, Geokid found this one very quickly. Which is great as she had just started whining about caching but a find always lifts her spirits.

Found with family members of this cache's name sake ... do I get extra points? We were initially led on a bit of a wild goose chase by Mrs Nank's GPS but we eventually found the right road, that'll teach us for trying to do things quickly! I think that GPS was having a good laugh at us actually. I was fortunate enough to have my photo taken with the youngest Nank today .. hope he didn't do "rabbit ears" to me for the photo ... hmmmmmm. TNLN TFTC.
Vans filled with vegetables, v, v, v.
Unfortunately, Dadda NANKS wasn't with us for this find. I have called him Vid for many years now. When we first met, a lot of his mates called him "Dave". I began finishing his name by adding the "vid" and it just kind of stuck as these things do!
Anyway, on to the cache. Mapping took us to the nearest street which was on the wrong side of the creek Sometimes I think I should use s bit more common sense and not just blindly follow the GPS! After a few fairly hairy U-Turns we arrived at a much better spot. (Sorry Brit)
Once again, young Tom plucked this one out! [^]
IN : A big Glow stick and a geo coin
OUT: A pencil
Thanks to the raving and oh so retro MadMyers

Loved the retro feel of this cache
I haven't seen one of those containers for years. A nice nostalgic touch that some will have to explain to their geokids
OK enough silliness. Great bike ride along the biketrack [^]
Now back to that pesky letter of the alfabett, 'K' for another look

Ah yes one of my sons favourite past times videos. Unfortunatley this video involved physical exertion TFTC.
This was my 8th of 23 finds for the night, found at 6:45pm.
I walked to this cache from another in the series nearby and as I approached GZ I was certain I knew where it would be hidden - I was wrong, however it didn't take me much longer to notice something out of place and the cache was in hand - interesting cache container too by the way.
The big stump (if you could call it that) is amazing! TFTC.
