Had a day picking up caches on the way to an overnight stay with my youngest niece & her partner in Nuriootpa. All caches were found in good condition unless mention in log. TFTC

A lovely couple of hours grabbing a few unfound caches E/SE of Riverton on a cool and very windy day.Found the cache after spotting the lonely grave. Many thanks for the history and the hide TheKellyGang
I decided to take Friday off work to make it a four day weekend. The plan was to explore around Barossa and Clare valleys. Im not much of a wine drinker but there sure are lots of geocaches in these parts. I brought my bike along so I could tackle some of the many caches along bike tracks. A little cool through out the day but the sun was shining which always makes me happy. Yes I am a John Denver Fan. All good here. Thank you postiegirl06, for placing Scotty's Grave for the geocaching community.# # #14880 # #
Found this cache easy enough, but took awhile to spot Scotty’s grave. Must have had my blinkers on! What an interesting life story. Thank you postiegirl06 for the research and story, well done. A favourite is given.
A big long weekend with the JAMS Crew (JJ52, allister w(me), mogni, Sir Spectre and tallbikestan). We road from Riverton to Stanley Flat on day 1. Then more riding near Spalding on day 2. Then finished the weekend with finding caches around the area in the car. TFTC
quick find
The JAMS team ( JJ52,Allister w, Mogni, and sir_spectre minus mitchell&hound ) but Tallbikestan was with us instead and we where out for there usually monthly caching adventure. This time it was over the october long weekend instead of the usual day trip. The taget this time was Drop into the Light a long ladder cache on the way to clare and then to clear the Rattler trail, Riesling Trail, Ne Trail saturday on the bikes and then sunday do the Mid North Channel Country bike trail. Monday on the return home was to get Peter's view a 2001 cache. Of course there was many, many other's found on route to the various target for the weekend, somewhere around 260 found by the team. It could have been more but we were not going at a flat out pace, just steady and getting a blow out on the bike 1.6 km's from the end of the Mid North Channel Country bike trail didn't help. I didn't see any snakes this trip but allister did, he saw 5. The caches this trip where written in as JAMS, i forgot the stamps. Also 1 cache was placed by the JAMS team this trip. Out of all the bike tracks i preferred the Rattler /Riesling trail. I like riding through the very rich ( after all the recent rains ) fields of yellow flowers.

Out with iluvtrekking on a beautiful winters day- quite the opposite of yesterday. Love these rural hides - our preferred caching. Thanks for the hide postiegirl06
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
A beautiful day to be out and about today in the countryside. Thanks for the cache

We saw the headstone before we located the cache. The little ants that came out to see what was going on when I moved the cache was phenominal. It was a challenge to replace it without getting ants all over my hand. A quick sign and we was on our way again.

I love the cache description for this one, with all the variations on the story. Also like how the grave has been preserved in the middle of the field. Great cache, thanks. Currently only two pens in the cache. Didn’t check to see if they worked.
Glad I stopped here.
Thanks PostieGirl06 and The Kelly Gang.

After traipsing around Western Queensland for 4 1/2 weeks then having to head to Northern Territory then SA to try and get back home that way due to border closures.
After escaping from NT to SA I was spending a few days in SA before heading back to lockdown in Victoria.
Staying at Quorn for a couple of nights and after ditching the van in the caravan park it was time to try and find all of the caches around here and also the ones on the way back to Stirling North.
A lot easier to pull over with out a van.
Forget to log these last few caches when I got home so here I go.
Thanks postiegirl06 TFTC.

Spent the weekend in the Barossa and near outlying region chasing Yellow Smiley Faces.
Sadly, we had one DNF but what a fantastic few days in a lovely area.
Many thanks to the CO for bringing us here.
TFTC TNLN except footprints.

A great story (real and fiction) and a good excuse to be loitering around while the truck got out of the way so they could find the cache!
Another day caching out north with Doctor Owl, sushilord and SA Sewer Rats. It started out quite cool but by mid afternoon it was quite warm and I even worked up a sweat at one cache. [^] A fun day travelling on some great back roads with lots of beautiful scenery and plenty of interesting banter along the way.
This was a good story and an interesting grave amongst the crop with its very own pepper tree shading it.
Oh and we found the cache too.
Thanks for the cache.

A quick stop in here, found the hidden cache.
A nice day out caching around eudunda and the surrounding areas, despite the on and off rain all day majority of the caches were easy enough to get to. Total of 39 finds and 1 DNF.
Thanks for the cache

Oh No! My grave!!… but i'm not dead yet!
Having the same name as the deceased here was a bit spooky lol
What wasn't so scary was the immediate find of the dry and in great condition cache and contents [^]

Interesting local history, just watch out for the giant huntsman spider guarding the cache
Late log, Sorry for the delay! Thank you for bringing me out to notoriety and romantic folk lore. Never would have found this place without your help!! TYFTC SLTNLN
Yet another Puzzled Puzzler's Tuesday caching adventure. Oh dear..we are a little light on for crew today. Just me and Mrs. SA Sewer rats. Never mind..we have a plan to find some unloved caches and get Rat qualified for an unloved challenge we want to do later in year. [8)]
The target caches were all up above Robertstown, so of course we took the long way, detouring to some unfound caches along a circuitous route.
In actual fact this is where Scotty and the entire crew of the Enterprise beamed down a cache of whiskey and haggis and buried it here just in case they needed to once again travel back in time and save the whales. [:o)][B)]
Of course this won't happen for another 150 years yet!
Luckily I found the cache and left a travel bug for the next finder.
**Thanks TheKellyGang for this cache. **

Cache was empty of pens.....so left a few behind.
Thanks for the find.

Two Norwegian travellers on vacation/geocaching in Australia. Travelling by car from Brisbane to Adelaide with stops in interesting and not so interesting places. Started with the Sunshine Coast to warm us up and since then when travelling to the south and west the weather have not been so good as we hoped. Lots of wind and rain with only a few sunny days in between. Left Hahndorf this morning and Arrived Clare today in sunny weather. Have logged a few caches on the way to Clare.
Good story for a fine cache. Went to the grave stone.

Boy, that is one lonely grave. I wonder if he was beamed up to a better place? Thanks again Kellys.
Staying at Kapunda for Easter we visited muggle family at Eudunda and made this find and sign on the way back.
Another history lesson for us.
Thanks.
