Caching from WA west coast to ACT for 2 megas. TFTC. A clever hide. Found it on my second pass of the object.
Took me way too long to find this! Haha. I looked in a few places, confirmed via the hint that I was looking in the right place, checked a few harder to see places, looked for some hints in the previous logs but didn't find much except that it was a new type of hide for someone, and 'more satisfying if you find it without extra clues', then tried searching again. On that third approach I had the right thought about the cache style, but didn't look in the right place until I was about to walk away.By way of excuse, I'd like to note that I was also being harassed by a persistent flying insect throughout my search. Not sure what it was, because it kept getting in my face and (as someone allergic to bees) I was preoccupied with getting it out of my face, and when it moved away it was so fast I could barely keep track of it! I'm wondering if it was a native bee... most of them are stingless but I couldn't get a good enough look to find out!I found the cache was wet, so left the camo to dry in the sun while signing the log in the relative safety of my car, and also replaced the snap lock bag with a thicker, sturdier one.TFTC!
Found It!Neat hide that I found after a short search. There sure are a lot of caches on this coast!TFTC
Nice sneaky hide. Try not to look for clues this one will be way more rewarding that way.
A welcome break on our Christmas drive to Sydney from Canberra. Indeed a good place to pull over and a clever hide.
Thanks Krafty Charlie

A surprisingly quick find with WaywardWoman as we head to Wollongong for the day. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
Great hide, I have replaced log as it was too wet to sign, go with happiness, Misty
Love these clever kinds of hides! Brilliant camo! Found on my way back home to Sydney after visiting a mate in Canberra; been keen to sign off on some Picton Road caches for a while! TFTC!
After completing the Mother's Day Classic Walk for breast cancer this morning, I decided to spend the rest of my mother's day finding some caches
Deciding to head down the gong, this older cache was on way and worth a stop. I am often cache blind when it comes to camo of this type, and today proved no different. I missed it the first time round, but as I made my way back along it occurred to me to look for something more of this style and.... gotcha! I'd possibly classify this as more of an 'other'. Very krafty indeed! Tftc!

TFTC! Nice quick find! The first one on our holiday to Batemans Bay from Sydney!

Find 270 for the tribe.
Last cache for the day in fading light. Really safe area to pull over in which was appreciated.
I did what many others have done before by the look of it and walked past the cache five times before finally spotting the sneaky hide.
Signed log and replaced as found.
A lovely big scribbly gum behind the cache, check it out while you're there.
Thanks for the cache!

Had to head to the gong overnight so decided to pick this up on the way.
Nice hide that had me searching for a while before I had a head slap moment.

We're on our way south for a week or so and this was a handy place for us to stretch the legs.
I searched for the cache for a few minutes without success and this prompted my snuggle muggle to start searching as well ... and as seems to happen every time she does so, she spotted the hide straight away. All I could do was shake my head and wonder how did I miss that! I guess it's a case of me going in with a preconceived idea of what I was looking for whereas she just looked for something that seemed a bit out of place.
Thanks for the sneaky hide Krafty Charlie.

Found on an outing with our non geo friends, who seem to be quite good at this. Very clever cache. Tftc
TFTC. Interesting hide . Looked over the area and missed and then I saw it , what great camo ! Lots of fruit around
Haha haha. This is great!
Out on a Sunday funday adventure with BarberBlackSheep and while we were driving on this road we stopped here to grab this cache. After checking all the obvious spots, BBS laughed at me because I went and checked the exact spots he did and he had this suspicious look on his face (he had found the cache) and so I went back to check where I had just looked. What a great hide hahaha, when you find it it’s funny how you even missed it.

Found -- 10:26am -- Thanks for bringing us to this location and Thanks for the hunt *Krafty Charlie*.
**Cache Condition:** Good.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.

**The Cache**
Almost walked past it but a quick reaction saved the day. I keep on driving past this cache and thinking nothing of it. Not anymore. Nice hide!
**The Day**
OCW *Little Panther* and *DustyJapserJet*. Had an errand to run. Decided spur of the moment on a run up here to collect this cache. I was watching a video that reminded me that here were two caches up this way I had not yet found. Considering I kept forgetting this one I decided to make it a priority. Went down to Cordeaux Dam afterwards and took a walk over the wall before heading along the freeway toward home.
2 = 2 0 0 [8)] not attempted.

Floating around while the others use their amazing skills to search for the cache. Log signed and replaced and the scene evacuated TFTC
Have stopped here a few times and have never been successful at the find. Today was the day we were able to log the find. Like so many others we walked past it so many times. Well done and thanks for the find

Very nice hide, took us a lot longer than a 2 difficulty. Have a fave point

Streak day 64
Below is a blurb about us.
We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to
get badges for adding photos to our found logs.
We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle.
It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone.
When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

Like others we walked past the cache a dozen times before we spotted it! Nice big sign.
Found on another epic caching loop with H423L which included the St Arnaud mega and many other magnificent Australian locations.
Thanks Krafty Charlie and clear skies from TeamAstro. ️ Cache the planet!

Stopped at gz and walked past the Cache about six times before my lovely wife said those magical words "Here it is". I signed it DSD before rehiding and speeding off to find more caches. Great hide thanks Krafty Charlie
Day four of my trip, travelling from Yass to Wollongong. I did a few caches along the way to break the journey, then did a few more after checking in at the motel. Nicely hidden cache. I missed on my first quick perusal, and only noticed when I looked a little harder.
My thanks for the cache, Krafty Charlie.
My thanks for the cache, Krafty Charlie.
After passing this. One numerous times I finally stopped to find it.... On a very dark and lonesome night.... Tftc
Had a poke around in the dark on the way home from work, but no luck today. I'll try again some time when I have more natural light.
We thought this was what it was but gee we really had cache blindness on this one. Nice hide. TFTC
Found in the company of DiamonJs. Took a while, caching blindness. Great hide, FP awarded

Today we were out to try and get all the lighthouse series and others finished before we head back home tomorrow morning after enjoying the 3 days of the Oz GeoMuster. It has been an awesome few days. This was the 46th find for the day. Thanks for the fun
Find #125 on our geocation to the Mega at Cataract Park via Canberra for a couple of nights.
This was #46 of 54 for the day. THis one had me searching for a while before JMorg spotted the very clever hide! A favourite point from me.

It took us a while to locate this cache as we missed the obvious. We were very surprised that we had missed this one during our initial search. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Krafty Charlie for the cache.
Find # 8235
Found while up at the Gong event.
Solved what we could as a team before the trip up. But I had to go out n find "the Light House art" alone.
Did have the occasional meet up with others out in the field. Thankfully some of those were when the caches became elusive to find.
Thanks to those who gave me a ton of help with the Wherigos. Much appreciated. One day I might get the hang of them.
Missed a turn off to turn around, but the bonus was this cache.
After signing it was time for one of the dodgest u turns around.

Day 43
Took all of the kiwichicks searching to track this one down! I think it was Nosynel who had her brain switched on for this one. Tftc.
Arrived in Sydney from New Zealand Feilding on the 5th July and early next morning headed straight to do some caching in the Mega area and happy to finally get the opportunity to collect some light house puzzle caches. a great series enjoyed by so many fellow geocaches great to have a trail and enjoy a Mega close by. Thank you for taking the time to place so many variety of caches we know how many hours it takes to put out a geoart. You chose a lovely area to explore well done. A nice quick find here today cache was all good placed back where we found it. all set for the next fellow geocacher to find. and now a traditional cache only our second one since we landed in Australia thank you for placing a cache along here
Wow - so simple yet so effective! I walked round and round, looked up and down, felt everywhere I could and had run out of ideas and quite by accident spied the hide as I was leaving after giving up. This really deserves a favourite Krafty Charlie. TFTC # 14,090
Super cool . A favouite from me.
Thanks Krafty Charlie for placing this geocaches 7180 find for me. Others went to the flashmob. Us four are continuing.
The time has finally arrived for a massive Australian road trip with The Kiwi Chicks. We are GraciesGPSfun , thedbees , Ethness, Infoferret , Jude_E and me Nosynel. We might sometimes sign the geocaches as KCs or TKCs.
Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2020 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. Thanks for hiding this geocache.

This morning was all about the numbers! Normally I’d just go for a bunch of favorited caches or ones with a bit of adventure about them, but it’s a Mega so a haul of smileys had to happen.
The plan was to do as many as I could before attending the flash mob in Wollongong at 11. I focused on as many as I could from the GeoArt as they were taking me in the right direction.
Thanks to all the COs for placing the caches for us all to find. Signed as JA
Clever hide!
I’ve been looking for somewhere to do something similar.

Today we are enjoying exploring around the Appin and Wilton areas, mainly targeting the Lighthouse Geoart. This was our last one before tea. Took us a little while to spot this clever hide. Now we can see why it has all its favourites so we are adding one more. TFTC Krafty Charlie.
