This was a most enjoyable bush bash except when we realised that we didn't bring a compass and our GPS does not do projections. Nevertheless we made it to the final with a little bit of nudging from the owner. Can't tell you how much fun we had on the suspension bridge and if ever you get to check out the wooden attachment to the bridge which we first thought was typical of a Glyn's type camo you will be surprised with what you find inside. I know we were
All I can say about this is there is a wrong way and a right way for everything but for this we mangaged two very wrong ways before seeing the error of our ways . Moral of the story is never trust a man with a GPS without checking what he is doing . ROS may possibly have his own log for this find . T(i think)4TC.
Really enjoyed this one - nice bush, bit different from the type we tupically get down home.
Found our way here from Chill @ Chatham. Not too much actual bush-bashing thank goodness. Enjoyed following the foreshore round to this one. The swing bridge gave us some Indiana Jones moments! Crossed three times! Also liked the bridge to nowhere. Great camo at final. GPS had trouble pinning it down - the hint was very useful. Thanks for another interesting multi.

Crossed the bridge 3 times!!! Interesting place in the middle of ? Picked up Running with Scissors TB. TFTC
Wpnt 1 has been taken home for repair, in the meantime go to the position (use hints, I wont tell) project a bearing of 53 deg. true & distance of 30 mtres to get final.
10:42 Time to give this one ago, and its not as hard as the name implies. The last time I was here was with a four year old, so that's why I flagged it last time.
The First waypoint is getting pretty hard to read, so may need replacing soon Glyn.
What a great spot this cache is in; the bridge to nowhere was interesting. The whole cache only took around 20 minutes, so not too extreme at all.
Liked the camo at the last waypoint, very apt for the location. Thanks for the cache Glyn.
Took: Nothing
Left: RUNNING WITH SCISSORS TB
Logged in Nelson TB for the mileage

The is the eighth and last cache for this morning. A pretty successful morning with 8 Finds (which does include a PAF for one of them).
It's not so much of a bush bash today but just had to follow the geocachers dirt track until the highway was reached. The waypoint fell reasonably quickly while I just walked up to the final.
TNLNSL.
Cheers for the cache.

Quick find after taking the GC highway. We did some practice bush bashing at the Pa cache a couple of weekends ago. This one turned out to be a lot easier in comparison. Tried out the swing bridge afterwards, very springy and bouncy – Choice, loved it! How do you find these cool places?

Not a patch on the Pa, but still fun all the same. WP1 was a bit of a head scratcher, but realiset my mistake after a while. TFTC
Followed the newly formed Geocacher Highway from the end of the road and then to the main track. Found intermediate and final with the clues.
Tried following the path out, but kept on ending up in private back yards, so back up the GC H'way and out.
Fun cache, thanks Glynn.

Headed here after the last one. Heard a neighbour pulling out a tree, not far from me, went into sleath mode. hehe
Nice Cache!

I thought I'd try coming up the stream, but when I resurface I was back at the car! So back down again and not too far to WP1. Well hidden as usual. The locals have done well with this little network.

5.45pm. Muddy, scrapped up and went in entirely the wrong direction.
What were we thinking [?] We'll attack this one somewhat differently next time.

Believe it or not but this cache is directly below our friends house. In fact we think they had a lot to do with building those tracks.
Took a fairly direct route from the car and then a bit of a contour around. Found both WP and final fairly easily, and admired the general surroundings. This is a nice area.
Hope our mates don't think they've got wierdos crashing about below their section! TFTC

Heh, Heh, this was fun. Made a few probes into the bush before finally settling on the likely optimum one. Didn't manage to find waypoint 1 reacon I searched every tree as per the clue. Didn't matter though I had an idea where the final was likely to be, and armed with the clue went straight to it.
Interesting that a path is already forming to this one, its not a good path mind and very slippery.

#710. First to log but not to find. The R&R team visited before me. Found at 5:15pm. Bush bash required and felt very comfortable after all the time I'd spent in Fangorn Forest.
Suspension bridge is a must - try running no hands. I was wearing ideal gear, proabably as a result of Tramper Ted's reference to red tabs the day before - yep, wellies and waterproof over trousers.
At the final I encountered sheep. As you know sheep exhibit sheep like behaviour, and tend to follow one another in a rather unintelligent way. it obviously rubbed off on me cause I took the clue literally.
TFTC.
That's a 2nd filthy car, set of boots, and set of clothes in 2 days - ah the joys of geocaching.

After arriving at the parking place and walking around the area, with no clue how to get into the reserve, after walking along the whole amount of paths (which all led to even more bushes), after going back to where we looked first, after bush-bashing and sliding down and poor Rumo landing on his bum on the first part of the "track", after finding the "real" track and GZ (or at least the general area), after looking at the wrong places for half an hour and poor Rumo sliding down and landing on his bum again, after not finding the cache anywhere around getting quite desperate, after calling YuGeo4 to get Glyn's number, after calling Glyn for another hint, after getting the hint and finally finding the WP, after happily walking over the swingbridge (Rala discovered that she is not afraid of heights any more!), after going back over the swingbridge (because the GPS mislead us), after Rala meeting and becoming friends with the cutest grey sheep ever, after Rumo finding the final, after celebrating the find, after walking over the swingbridge again, after walking over private property to get to the street again, after getting muddy and soaked wet, we happily announce our FTF on this one.
What a cool cache. Rala would be happy to get as wet and dirty as today on every geocaching occasion. Bush-bashing rules! So together with StOuens we join into the song:
"Dirt dirt dirt, dirt needs to stick on all our clothes! Wet wet wet, we are soaked wet to the bones!"
