Wandering around the old part of town for a look then decided we had to give this cache a go given that it was so close. Had us baffled for a while as GZ was in an odd location. Worked out where we were supposed to be but didn’t having any luck finding it but wonder if it might have been on “the other side” where we didn't look. Not to worry – it was fun exploring this part of town.
#1231 Took all of 30 secs to realise where I should be looking and another minute to get there and retrieve it. Being tall and always having a torch with me made it a breeze. TNLN DS8300
[Well and clever hidden! Where the hell is the Geopelli Geocoin? It might be in that cache, but there was no!] A torch might be helpful to find it...
Parked at GZ, car out of gear and brain into gear but nothing happening, a total blank. Nothing for it but to stretch my legs and look about. A-ha! got it, so off to GZ and indeed there it was.
Having a good chuckle at the logs of lytteltonwitch and Hello Mrs, I can just imagine how funny that must of all looked.
Very clever cache, thoroughly enjoyed the challenge thank you.

This one had us looking around and around the carpark last night. Today we went for a look in the correct place in daylight and couldn't find it anywhere. Decided to go back after tea with a torch and we still couldn't find it. After a wee hint from the owner we realised that two short women were going to have a problem so you would have laughed to see lytteltonwitch rolling a tyre to give her height. My friends are convinced I will be arrested one day while geocaching. The things we do for caching
Took 3 goes to find. Last night just wandered around looking very puzzled. Today after a chance remark from Uncle we thought aha and tried again and still could not find it. After dinner armed with a torch we thought we might have more luck but still could not find it so phoned the owner. Yes you are in the right place but you might need something more to help you reach it. Finally we found it with a torch and a blownup tyre we found in the garden. Thanks Bitsprayer nice cache we are still chuckling.
Cache all fixed up in a 500ml containe now and camo-painted, will see how it lasts.

We searched and seaarched - well, more thought and thought and wandered about and tried various sums(just as well it was the 25th otheriwse passing muggles would have thought us crazy!!) as there appears to be not too many places to search and went away cache-less.
Were hanging out at the ToyotaVX's house - as you do - when one of them made a significant comment about the search area that had PB suddenly saying, "The cache is ......... "
So we went back later and looked, and there it was!

Travelling north for Xmas and stopped by this cache
Shame it was muggled,
Have left a pen, so the cache is slowly rebuilding itself - Now has paper and a pen, but no TB - sad

Found it...real shame about the muggling. Left name on paper kindly left. Anywho, TFTC
Cache has been mugggled, box still there but TB has gone, I don't know how muggles would find it, will put a new log book in next week and see how it goes.

Very clever! Had us searching about in the wrong location to start with, then it twigged. Found nothing to start with, then saw a round clip lock box laying close by, completely empty. We are sure this must have been the cache box and that it was muggled. We signed a piece of paper and put the cache back where we believe it should have been. Perhaps the owner can go and check on it. SL. TFTC.
Also logging in and out our England Geocoin.

we stood in the middle of the road and searched and searched and searched...but no such luck..we may not be back..very sad....
2.45pm on a Friday, during Heritage Week is not the best time to attempt this. GZ was occupied, heaps of pedestrians (many in Victorian garb) and a cafe load of patrons watching the weird guy with the yellow gizmo were enough to drive me away. Have friends living in Oamaru so we'll be back to collect this at another time.
Nice easy find; out caching around Oamaru for the day with Team Chelmo. 2nd for the day. TFTC.
2nd attempt at this. The first time we tried we were stumped but worked it out a few hours later
Found this one with Comradehunt on the "get to 100 and 250th mission" journey. Easy find, although we probably looked strange in the middle of the road looking left and right.
Found this one with The-Organist on our Oamaru/Duntroon round trip. Left 4WD TB.
Found with Nighthawk
I'm another who had to take a couple of visits for this cache but found in the end

We enjoyed this one, looked in the correct area first time and missed it, then tried the more obvious area with no joy, then went back and found it.

Looked yesterday with NZ_3rds, now the penny has dropped, glad we have a little person with us for help
OK, I'll admit it - it took me at least three brief passing visits before the penny finally dropped!! How dumb can you get!! But once sighted, it still took a great effort to get the cachebox into my hands - it was way back in a spot narrower than my arm!! -TB Volvo, + leather keyring. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(942)
Just to drop of the Volvo.

Took a while to find it and could not reach it in the hole so needed to use a stick.
Tried to find this one a couple of weeks back, but couldn't make sense of it, and again today at first..... whilst in a nearby facility, it suddenly occured to me that it needed a bit of vertical thinking, and it was soon found... TNLN Thanks!
7.30pm Found in the dark so we definately needed the torch. Thank you David & Noeline
I first had a DNF but met up with Mrs Bitsprayer at the gardens when I was hunting for another cache and she gave me a subtle hint. I'd been close in my first hunt, but not close enough. Managed a quick find the second time thanks.
The recent weather, has got to this cache, will replace soon.

After putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 4 I actually had a fair idea of what to expect from this one, which was confirmed as the GPS counted down the arrival at GZ We did this cache in failing light and with no torchs had to just fell around until we found it, which thankfully didn't take too long Thanks for a most enjoyable cache, get hiding possie!

1505. After walking around in circles for a while we had an "A-ha!" moment when we realised where we were. That is a great cache - one of the very best - and right in the middle of town as well!
Well done - thanks

Had good GPS reception at the hiding spot.
I reckon that the listed co-ords are about 8M out.
Thanks for the clever location - Great hide.

Parked on groundzero this morning - couldn't for the life of me find it - even checked I hadn't parked "on" it.
Left thinking I was going to log a third DNF today however this afternoon whilst walking to another cache discovered a very interesting location. We looked and looked here but still couldn't find it. Was about to give up again when I looked down... more hiding places!!! And there is was
Very happy to have achieved a find. Thanks and well done.

When this cache was published Stephen thought he knew here it would be and sure enough the cache was there.
[^] Very clever bitsprayer. Took a bit of searching.+ Aussie coin, - nothing. Enjoyed our time in this area. TFTC.
Oh, very good! 5 minutes of head scratching, 5 minutes waiting for muggle in car to move, 5-star slap-to-the-head Do'h moment, then 5 minutes later log signed and I'm back in the car. Nicely done, TFTC Bitsprayer.

Really enjoyed this one. The kids took a while to figure out where it could possibly be. Neat hide. Thanks for the fun on the way to Chch for Easter Camp.
Stood in the middle of the road for a few seconds before the penny dropped and from there it was reasonably straightforward. Good name for the cache.
Hehe, this one had me puzzling for a bit until my travelling colleague pointed out the obvious location. So I headed in that direction and with a bit of poking around in some dark places I found it. Nicely done! Cheers Gav [1119]
Found this nice placed cache together with hixxx on the way to Christchurch.
