Such beautiful bush land. This was such a nice walk. Had to scout the are abit to find the cache. Also found this little gem in the walk.
Found it - second time looking for it! Didn't get it the first time, but forraged around a bunch of bushes to find it
My team works nearby and we often go for short walks in the bush for a break. Today we took a detour to this cache as a few of them were interested in what it was all about. Quickly found and hopefully a few new cachers out there now. Thanks!
Unfortunately didn't bring anything to sign the log. If I'm in the area again I'll bring a pen or pencil to leave in the cache. Tftc
While visiting a recovering patient in Calvary, there was a chance to cache while waiting for a physio. Out in the fresh air found a few caches, this being one of them. Tftc
Updating to say that Ive found it! I forgot to bring a pen the other day but Ill head back tomorrow to fill in the log. Thanks for the cache, I hope to find many more of yours, I hear youre a legend
My second time here looking for it and yet again I couldnt quite pull it off I plan to come back after TAFE one day to try again and hopefully change that outcome! The area is a bit over grown so be wary of wildlife!
First find for this Sunday morning jog. It turned out to be quite a long one once we had gotten all the way to Bruce Ridge, around and then back home again. There were plenty of geocaching stops along the way, don't you worry.
This was a quick find to get things rolling. TFTC Fore!

I had a little difficulty at first but then spotted something that looked out of place in the natural environment. Forgot to bring a pen as this wasnt a planned search so I couldn't sign the log.
This one had me stumped but found it. I studied at CIT for a number of years, but never ventured here. Thank you
I was in the area, and with it being very quiet while the nearby tafe is on holidays decided to take a look for this cache.
It took a few moments to locate the cache once at gz - time has taken its toll on the hiding spot and it is no longer a log, just a small pile of wood fragments!
TFTC, Fore!

Meeting Gunks in the capital to do a parkrun the following morning. Stretching the legs after the 7 hour drive from Melbourne turned into 13km in 32° heat. Earned the pub visit. Thanks for placing the cache.
Arrived in Canberra today, stopping for only one night breaking up the drive from Bathurst to Melbourne, and sneaking in a Parkrun tomorrow. It was a bit warm today but we managed a 12km walk and collected a few cache on the way before heading to the pub for beers and grub. thanks for the fun.
The phone got me close, the GPS got me closer. Spotted something a bit interesting and soon had CIH. Logged and replaced as found. Thanks Fore!
At first when I was searching around I was worried the cache may have been disturbed by recent chainsawing. Luckily it was and is sitting nicely in place. Thanks for the cache. Third find for the day.
Fore!’s geocaching secretary reporting for duty: old soggy cache removed, new smaller cache is place...
Cache replaced thanks to allrounder’s fore!ay in the dark, you will need to bring a pen...cache on!
Fore!'s geocaching secretary reporting for duty: lucky I read found logs and don't rely on NM logs...will replace the log ASAP...
After wandering around in circles for 15 minutes, hoping no snakes were hidden in the long grass, I finally stumbled upon the correct approach, and the cache seemed incredibly easy to find.

I had an appointment nearby and decided to take this short walk before getting back in the car. TFTH
While other people of the group went see rugby, I wanted to explore the area and find as many caches as possible. Many kangaroos in the area. Nice and quick find, tftc!
My family and I travelled down from Brisbane to Vincentia to spend the Christmas period with relatives. With bush fires burning in the surrounding areas, we decided to head off to Canberra for New Year in an ultimately futile attempt to escape the smoke. Sadly today my wife was flying back to Brisbane, so after dropping her off at the airport, I called in to visit this cache on the way to a geocaching event later in the afternoon.
After parking in the nearby car park I managed to find tracks leading most of the way to GZ then made a short dash into the scrub to sign the logbook. TFTC

My last find of this short walk around Bruce. Easily found after the GPS took me a couple of metres past it. TFTC
Great to pick this one up as my cache for the day after an exercise class. Beautiful afternoon for a walk. TFTC
Thanks!
There was a naked man nearby getting dressed in the bushes. He had just pulled up his pants when he realised we were nearby. He looked more shocked than we were and scurried off in a hurry. Very strange!

This is just one of those caches that I have avoided for the past 5 years! I have even attempted to come find it on an occasion or two, but realised / remembered that the close parking is paid for the CIT!
I decided it was about time I come and collect this, and what better time than late at night when nobody was around to judge my parking choices
I strolled over towards GZ and once there made a very quick find! Coordinates were spot on and camo was obvious, yet well hidden.
Thanks Fore! Good to finally have this one off the to-do list

We came into this area as we needed one more trig to get our 100 trig trophy for GA Dragonzone and the nearby trig is the only trig we have not yet claimed between where we were and EPIC where we are camping. Since this cache was across the road Mrs Shifter braved the cold winds abd headed out to locate the cache, whcih was done quickly, then bck o the warmth of the car.
Thanks for the cache Fore!

Thanks for taking us to a beautiful bush land right in the city! Cool Sunday walk with the geohound and hubby. TFTC
Another day, another Fore! cache. Lovely. Again, this is another spot I haven't walked around so it was nice to have an incentive to come here. It was a pleasant walk despite the roaring sound of peak hour traffic nearby. The bush was lovely and wet after all the recent rain. Thankfully for me, the cache was quickly found during a break in the weather. I made it back to the car just as it started to rain again. This is day #188 of my daily streak. TFTC
Well, I am way way behind on my logging... So I decided that being the first day of the new year, it was the ideal time to catch up... Except it's now the second day of the new year...
I remember going on a really nice walk around the Ridge and finding this and a couple of others. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and really that's about all I remember at this stage. It was terrific though. I think this was a nice easy find. Yay. TFTC

Nice quiet walk in the rain through the nature park today, after my first visit to CIT for a thankyou lunch. I love discovering new little patches of bush to explore. Cache safe and dry in its adorable little hide. Tftc
On my way home on the bike today I went that little bit further to look for ths cache. The GPS was sending me in circles till I finally found the unexpected small hide right next to where I had left my bike and started the search.
Cache in good order, well just been maintenanced.
Thank you Fore! for putting the cache out and maintaining it.
